incredibly slow
Open app. Don't have subscription. Go to Discover to purchase... App is frozen, does nothing. Been like this for a year. Rubbish

No facility to translate reviews. Its a basic, simple, and necessary requirement. And even worse, it inhibits copy and paste function, so cannot use another translator. What an appallingly badly designed app, especially considering its not even a free app, you pay for this! EDIT: June 3rd update. After updating today, I am locked out of app. Says my details are wrong. They are NOT wrong. Prompted to change password but refuses to accept a new one. What a steaming turd of an app 🤬
Glitchy is the word I'd use. Slow to load. Campsites appear and disappear at random. Favourites show up that I havn't saved as favourites. Trying to book a site through the app is a glitchy nightmare. It does save money, but it hinders you every step of the way. Since using the app more, I have become completely fed up with it and have reduced my score to one star. The app is unusable and ACSI should be ashamed of themselves. Useless.
the app doesn't show all the campsites on the as I network. only seems to show motorhome stops.
Download Country package 1 minute all the sites are there next time you look they are all gone delete and re install does not work. A workable app is what has been paid for but this is not what is received.
Latest app version is still the most useless and user unfriendly I have ever met, complete rubbish, programming job of a 2 year old child. Complete rubbish
The app is soooo frustrating. I only need to use it a couple of time a year and each time its lost everything its downloaded - one time before my eyes - all the sites were there - then I clicked on one to read about it and everything went. 4 days later I still cant get them back despite deleting and reinstalling the app and all maps. Its downloading them each time as my mobile data has gone down massively yet it still doesn't work. It seems other users have had the same.
absolutely rubbish, I've paid £27 for card and app, I have tried downloading 4 times and can't get past second page and just freezes, not looking good for my up coming holiday 😡😪
Rubbish app, unusable, get to the "Discounts ad" page and everything freezes, next button doesn't work, back arrow unresponsive .. running on Samaung A55 with latest Android update .. will forget about ACSI card thx

Been using for years but app is so bad this year. sites appear and then disappear. searches go round in circles. sites I know exist are not shown. they don't send out books anymore so at moment membership is pointless.
Well just like ACSI Customer Service. Useless APP. Zoom in and sites vanish. Zoom out to far same happens. Ask for directions when find a site and won't via Waze or Google. Can't copy address in the app to enter details on Google maps. Was emailed to take up app and advised would get the book by Xmas. not the case told by customer services that email was a mistake. asked for refund. and guy laughed and put phone down. also some site are missing showing on the website but not on the app.
An absolute dog's dinner of an app. Just installed it and tried exploring the options but can't progress past the second screen I navigate to, it just hangs every time. It beggars belief how dysfunctional apps continue to flood the store and then expect us to spend money! Edit: to explore the app and be able to use it, I had to uninstall and reinstall and make a purchase right away. If you try to explore or read about what you're buying, the app just freezes. It doesn't fill me with confidence.

Absolutely Useless App. Don't waste your money! I have been trying to download the site locations for UK & Ireland for the past hour. Every time I try, I get the same error message, the download stops at 94% and doesn't complete the download. The same issue right across Europe! Seriously guys, there's a reason the app is getting only a 3.3 rating! Would you stay at a campsite that scored that low? I'd say not! You should be ashamed to stand over this. The Park4Night app is free and it works.
A totally wooden app. The ACSI facility is enormously useful but the app is no more user friendly than 10 years ago: it wants to update every time you load it. ACSI really should have a good look at the other "free" camping apps for inspiration.
Not as was sold to us at the camping & caravan show. Number of sites is limited which is not ideal when travelling so you will need to rely on other forms of booking. Very disappointed, customer services also not very helpful.
This app will not open. I have installed and uninstall 4 times and the app will not work. So frustrated! 🤬
honestly this card is useless. we spent an entire summer in Italy Germany France and Switzerland and never once did any site honour the acsi discount. don't waste your money update: yes we are aware of the seasons, however we tried this in May also with the same result. a lot of campsites also now state they are ACSI reviewed but will not offer the discounts at all
you can't search campsites without buying a subscription!
Only wish that sites would respond to emails sent via the app Update May 2025: sites still do not respond to messages, very disappointing if driving hundreds of miles to a site, it would be nice to know if they have availability

This is an awful app, we've tried on both phones and a tablet, but the off line maps will not download, it's hopeless and a waste of money. Thankfully we also bought the travel guides.
Diabolicle, possibly one of the least intuitive apps I have ever used. Slow, even on a high speed network. ACSI produce too many different apps with overlapping functionality, a case of quantity over quality. Not worth the price, would have been better to have had the paper version.
The new version ist not usable, to slow during startup. I hope this will be fixed soon. At the moment NOT recommenable.
Not really happy. Something has changed over previous years and the app is no longer compatable with my tablet.

The app is so slow to load, it's embarrassing at the campsite when reception is waiting to see your card and frustrating when looking for a campsite. I do not understand why you make your customers download the campsites onto our phones, which uses up loads of memory. Every other camping app I use just opens the information instantly without downloads, surely you can do this too? Take a look at how park4night and search for sites do it, much more user friendly.
Now unable to translate reviews into English. Not helpful. Also when you zoom into map, favourited sites disappear or lose heart symbol. Photos of sites not always very useful. Not a very user friendly app overall.
No campsites where i want to go plus cannot get it to translate into English, definitely not worth buying

massive troubles requiring (several calls to support required) until activation worked .
Saves carrying around the ACSI tome. Reviews are out date and the app is frustratingly slow. This is aggravated by the app reloading after backgrounding to crosscheck with other apps, eg P4N and Komoot.
The app nearly never finds campgrounds online or offline on my Pixel. The website works much better.

Almost every time I try to use it it shows no campsites at all. I update the maps and download them again every time, but still shows absolutely nothing. Sometimes after a couple of times of logging out and back in again it works, but seems very random. Can't see anything again despite renewing France maps - no sotes showing. So end up using other apps 😒
Finding on more and more sites,if you book anything but a standard pitch ie one that has extra water and grey waste on you cant use acsi.cant use acsi on busy times ie at xmas and cant use if motorhome is over certain lengths also cant use acsi if you pre book a pitch!!!what difference would that make!.wont be renewing ours
it's slow and long winded, I can't find a way to just view open all year sites. so I end up having to go on each campsite to check the opening dates. I often just give up as it takes too long to do this!!
