The clunkiest interface I've ever used. Tells me I'm off line which obviously I'm not as I can leave this review. Have paid for 1year subscription until 26th May but can not even save a favourite camp spot and have hardly used this app because it is so clunky and impossible to use to full expectation. do not recommend this app at all. very disappointing. Im using Galaxy Flip 5. Does that have something to do with it?
Can not access the app. Samsung s23plus. I am not paying twice for the same information . STILL WAITING. tried and failed over a year @ bo response. DELETED.

Paid for a subscription, app stopped working on android, uninstalled the app, downloaded again but still the same issue. Thought it might be fixed with further updates but it hasn't worked for the last 10 months. just got a reminder from Google my subscription is due for renewal in March 2026 but I will be cancelling this subscription as it has not worked on android since I've had it.
Why won't this app load onto my tablet? I struggle with poor eyesight to use it on a mobile phone screen.
cant book with the app, cant zoom in for a good look. buggy and over priced for what it offers

Not user friendly. Way too slow in searching for places. Even trying to filter places to search nothing would come up. Hipcamp is a much better app for me. Will be deleting

minus 5 stars if I could - fyi "dark patterns" 1. Despite assurances in a reply to a review on 3/11/25 that only an email and username is required, you cannot activate the app unless also providing a Firstname and Surname. 2. Reading the t & c's, the app makes money from in app advertisements and paid affiliate links. It beggars belief that they also need to charge an app fee. 3. App stores already have user info that could be used to seamlessly register and deregister apps for trials and subs.
advertised as free but it isn't. At least when you are about to sign up it should say that it's a paid app. You take personal information like email address during sign up but then users are required to provide payment info. Reply-to-developer: I know $9 is very reasonable for this product. My point is that whenever you are signing up for a paid software you should always know in advance before giving your personal information. It should be clearly stated that you are going to signup for a paid
not very user friendly. offers are extremely slow to load even on full service. have seen much better apps
Won't run the phone interface on my phone, only the tablet version, unusable. The developers were obliging enough but could only offer "make my text and display settings really big", which kinda ruins the whole phone experience

Thought it might be free like Hipcamp. Initially regiatered then discovered there is a charge. Deleted account and uninstalled within a minute.
downloaded the app, but couldn't even look at it without making an account and putting in my email address. so deleted it. Not to mention cost.
They take money out of your account but after three different ways to access my account, FB, Google and recover password, failed, they tell you they've never had an account with your name.
Sneaky scam. I was under impression that I unsubscribed from the free 7 day trial but then I was charged fees from my account. Now I will have to waste time fighting them through PayPal and somehow unsubscribe from their services. Do not get this app if you value your money. By the way wikicamps although worse after update it still has more free camps than this scam
unusable garbage: i've been given a '1year free subscription' as part of a book purchase, which doesn't work because i don't have (nor want) a payment method in google play. sneaky, underhanded, untrustworthy behaviour. that's the last time i'll buy anything from this gang.

I found it hard to use the app and a lot of buttons weren't working. while looking at the map the options to stays would drop in and out. very frustrating, don't recommend

I'd give this app 0 stars if possible. it's a trap app that will not let you log in without being trapped to a subscription. rude. uninstalled and reported in my camping groups as spam.
Started a free trial to see if this app is worth paying for. so far, nothing works. add filters to find something as simple as a dump site. apparently there are none in Australia according to this app. Same goes for EVERYTHING else in the filters. And if it's the case that I'm not using the 'correct searching methods' then this app is just not straight forward or use friendly. Disappointing.
I have just renewed ($9.99) for the third year in a row and have downloaded the app onto my phone (I had uninstalled because we had taken a break from travelling). When I open the app now, it is asking me to 'Subscribe to Continue' but I already have paid.

I wrote a great review last year it was 5 star, it was free and awesome, now they charge a fee😤 I did suggest not to charge fee otherwise noeone will use there app! and if they needed to, shove some ads in there, but of course... money talks guys🤦♂️🦐 delete and find the next best free camp site app👍 try new *anycamp* on app store
App is subscription based.... not worth the cost!
Infested with upselling and marketing. Worst then a free website but you have to pay yearly for this one! Edit: Tucked away they say? Its in your face, advertising your other products all over the app must not be up selling in your eyes. Down to one star.
these campsite aps are all useless, why can't I download on my laptop, go to download, can only download to mobile ph, stupid
If your app is NOT free then remove the word FREE from your statement "DOWNLOAD FREE APP NOW" Please keep it real! Maybe amend to something like.... "Try us free for 12 months starting today"
Went to download the app only to find out you have to pay a subscription. I was hoping it would be a free app for people who camp every now and then. Bit disappointed.
Info is a decade old
Very deceptive. Offered free trial for over a year to fill their app with all travellers info, pictures of campgrounds & reviews. Now their data bank is built up free of charge to the operators they now want to charge the user who supplied the info in the first place an annual fee! App has been uninstalled on my phone. Your subsequent reply to my review does not address my original point of you are now using information, reviews & photos posted by users that you are now charging them for.
Overpriced, needs payment for trial period then yearly payments, cheaper alternative around. Uninstall

how do I cancel the subscription. downloaded the app in 2025, and I didn't realise it's automatically charged me for 2026. I'm no longer travelling due to health reasons yet I have to pay
