Opening the app it request me to use Okta verification for my uni but when I go get the code - the app has closed and reopens asking to do the whole verification again, so I cannot open de app on my phone at all, as it will request a new Okta code. I got a Samsung S23.

keep getting TikTok ads
Best described as infrastructure made by people who don't have to use it. The mobile version was useless enough before they got hacked, and basically functioned as a read only version of canvas, but since the most recent hack where user data got ransomed, it gets stuck in an infinite login loop with authentication - as soon as you open the authentication app it shunts you back to the main screen... totally unusable.
glitchy, never opens
Runs poorly and crashes when I try to review professor feedback on assignments.
This app won't let me submit assignments from my phone on the go.

how could you fail so miserably at an app? In today's day and age, it's so easy to port a website to an app. You could even make it so we play video in the background. Yet you manage to be the biggest outlier. I might as well stick to using my browser app and going through my university webpage.

hacked services prevented us from doing homework and got access to our info
it does not let me find the school and can't get stuff done without requiring for a stupid password and email.
how do you hold information for 9000+ schools and have weak enough security to be hacked in the middle of the quarter.
I glad my info was not in the Data breach as I have brokers I hired to permanently delete all my personal information on the Internet and including the dark web and I also use VPN now due to the ongoing cyber attacks and I also say away apps that can't be trusted like this one.

app keeps signing me out after a few days of not opening it and not allowing me to submit mobile text box submissions
first it's a terrible app it is very messy I can't send files photos or anything. not only that it got hacked and all my data got leaked for a government run app it's trash.
Poor App, doesn't load links and quizzes properly. Please have a quick fix.
Got hacked recently
Can't believe this app got hacked, and it isn't even the first time it's happened. Now that it's been deemed "safe" this app is still not working. All it displays is "unable to verify" when I try to sign in or leaves me in an endless cycle of verifying my account. Such a shame...
Can't even do security right and probably never will. Useless.

I downloaded file and video but it's not download. I can't find it it's hard no instructions. what am i gonna do guess?? always logging out on its own!!! IT ALWAYS LOG OUT!!!!!! IT SO ANNOYING IT ALWAYS LOG OUT AND IT'S HARD TO LOG IN 😭😭😭😭😭
I have to re-login once or twice a day, the app constantly crashes, and the links don't work half the time.

As an app, Canvas has really matured into something useful. I wish instructors would bother to learn to use it to its full benefit. The 2 star rating is for Instructure paying the ransom to the hackers. Shame on you for letting it happen and shame on you for negotiating with cyberterrorists.
you can't download school files.
Using this as a parent has been incredibly frustrating. It completely fails to sync assignment status or grades. Push notifications to my phone are almost non-existent as well. The only reason it isn't a 1 star is the email notifications at least let me know if should talk to our child about something related to school... so he can pull up his canvas which seems to sync okay and we can review it together.
