And even though its a capital one app, and you login with your capital one login, you have to manually enter your physical card number for some reason (doesn't accept virtual). then, after finally entering all you info, it goes back into "searching for flights" mode if you switch apps on the final 'confirm flight' page. Frustratring app on top of predatory dynamic prices inherent to air travel.
The search function sucks. Like booked a flight out of FLL when I clearly only was searching MIA, sucks. Couldn't get any modifications to reservations cause I didn't pay the extra fees to be able to. Ended up booking the rest of my trip through Expedia. Makes me rethink even having a CapitalOne card and as soon as I am done with half the trip I have booked through then I am 100% deleting the app. 0/10. This app made planning anything a nightmare. Strongly encourage caution in using the app.

I have multiple Capital One credit cards but the app will only allow me to use one of them. I can't even see my other cards, even though all of them should sync. As a result, I missed pricing on a flight, but luckily, I used Google Flights and was actually able to find one for less. Not worth the download or the space taken up in storage on my phone. I deleted the app the day this happened because it has no benefit for me.
This is my first time to work with Capital One Travel. I am extremely disappointed with the customer services. Representatives are either incapable or rude.

Always some issue, lots of bugs. From "We've hit a snag" now we got promoted to "Oops l, something went wrong". I checked it last week this was an issue, today the same thing. It's unusable. how are we supposed to use our points, rewards otherwise?
This application is PAINFULLY slow and force closes on its own. Im trying my absolute best to book a vacation and the application is doing everything possible to prevent me from doing so. FIX THIS!!!
I am constantly being redirected to this app but it does not work. I just get a white screen that never resolves.

Tried to use this app several times after downloading. Was not able to use the app successfully...ever. Always get "error-something went wrong, try again later" msg after each "search stays" attempt. Deleted and downloaded again. same thing... useless.
will not use my fingerprint from my capitol one account can't choose seats and very hard to view flights and layover. don't waste your time with this app.

Useless app. Doesn't work for anything no matter what. Just book elsewhere with your cards & don't waste the memory on your phone with this useless app.
the app is very slow and sluggish. some screens also don't display correctly. if you're making me download a separate app just to book travel, at least design it well

I gave up using the app because it takes a long time to load. I got frustrated just waiting for it to load. With every selection it took more than 1 min to load. The prices are higher than other booking sites, when compared to the same hotel it was about $15 to $20 higher.
Why even promote this app to actual people? The functionality is limited, you can't view the trips you booked, the calendars only sometimes work, I lost count of the UI bugs, and it's embarrassingly laggy. Seems very unready for release and completely untested. Seriously, pushing people to sign up for this like you're proud of it makes you look super, super incompetent.

Crashes too often to be usable. disaster of an app. Tried to book a flight recently and the entire process took over 90 minutes with every attempt crashing at some stage and sending me back to the homepage. I gave up and used Expedia, and then received a notification from capital one HOURS LATER that multiple attempts had actually been completed, and had to go through a massive hassle to cancel everything. at the time, the app had told me that the transactions had failed!
this app and website are both the most frustrating, glitchy, slow, confusing, impossible to navigate travel platforms I have ever used. I'm convinced they purposely make it impossible to actually use any travel credits you have. love my venture card. absolutely loathe this app.
worst experience on booking for a car I booked a car in Oregon i flew to Puerto Vallarta thinking it was going to a a breeze ha! lol booking said $244 total for 15 days when I got to budget they told me it would be $2798 us dollars not pesos plus 2500 deposit he said if you get a car from us without the app it will be 1000 dollars with full insurance and all it was 95 outside I didn't want to keep walking carrying 2 luggage. so I took it still too expensive

got the venture one and used the travel app one time and I'm already ready to cancel this card, like seriously how can you release this bad of app and expect to retain customers. it's supper slow,several bugs like can add delta skyline miles to traveler info unless you enter passport info with it, but don't have a passport, and several others, too much to list here
takes forever to load anything and sometimes pages never load. going back sometimes sends you all the way back to search instead of just back one page. discounts are usually the same as expedia.

This rating is for Capital One Travel as a service not the app specifically. The app is ok, I do find it challenging to find things quickly. The reason for 2 stars is due to several errors on the part of Capital One Travel and/or their third party affiliates. One of the flight reservations had a name error that was improperly corrected and our hotel reservation was not made for the package we booked.
App constantly crashing. Had to reboot and and by the time it refreshed the flights went up $60 each.
Good thought, but doesn't function. If I download a travel app, I expect to be able to search for flights. Thought it was because I needed to update, but even after updating, every time I click on a previous search for a flight I was looking into, it throws an error. I have to go to the normal capital one app for it to work.

Good deals but app sluggish/slow and poorly designed. For starters when you select dates of travel it books the hotel the following day not the same day you arrive so flights will be booked to arrive with no hotel until the next day which makes no sense. good deals overall but this poor implementation makes it troubling to rely on.
The app locks up a lot. It's almost unusable.
