You need to update the dice algorithm. There is a 40% to 50% chance the dice will come up the same number as the spot where the robber just got moved to - especially as it looks like a "poor man's" handicapping mechanism when you are in the lead. So irritating I got rid of the app. What i have witnessed is statistically impossible. If you have the lead and you are over 7 cards, you can bet 7 will be rolled well past a 1 in 6 chance - the true probabilty of rolling a 7.
game favors the AI and the random number generator for the dice is too simple and ineffective.

Also, the difficulty adjustment is simply that the dice rolls in favour of the bots, bots will trade with themselves only, rolling a 7 on your turn 80% of the time. Hard difficulty is a yawn fest unless you enjoy collecting your free card every fifth roll. Lazy dev team.
too many bugs
Catan is a great game, but the game is rigged against you. I've seen it roll a 7 up to six times in a row! In one game I dont have a 5, but the AI does, so it rolls 5 all the time. Next game I have 5 and the AI doesn't, so guess what... no fives roll. Figures. Oh and you can guarantee that as soon as you get 8 cards, a 7 will roll!

Playing against the computer is completely rigged. The outcome of the dice should be RANDOM, not constantly in the computers favour! The players team up together, you can't trade more than once per turn. It's boring and basic, the results aren't by chance, the computer controls the entire outcome. The game crashes every game. I want a refund.
Absolutely terrible gameplay. If you want to have a game where you never get to actually play, this is the one. As soon as you get ahead hope you love the Robber as he will never leave your area for more than a single turn even after the computer players catch up or even start winning. Let me sum up how it goes for each computer player...computer buys development card, plays Knight card on you, computer takes all your resources and then rolls what it needs, repeat every turn. Garbage game.
After a few games in campaign, the computer wins by cheating the dice. Like all other players put the robber on your space and then roll that number 5 times in a row. The statistics on the rolling is so far outside of what is probable, it's obviously cheating. I've found is to try to go on the same spots the player that the computer wants to win so it doesn't put the robber there. So you're not really trying to play the game, your playing against how the programmer tried to game.
Dice rolls should be random and drawing of development cards should be random. AI is rigged against you.

terrible seeing the same complaints from 2018 that are still relevant today, biased AI, and constant crashing. Free games run more smoothly than this game. The fact that I have to pay for just the base game, which can hardly run, is unacceptable. Now I know why I gave up playing years ago. For such a fun game it's sad and disappointing to see their app fail so spectacularly, and rob people of their money at the same time
Crashes every time I roll the robber in some games
there are no guided instructions explaining this game on the first play through I have played the table top game so I know most of the rules there are just no explanations on how to do things and the interface is not intuitive.
I'd give a 0 if I could. How many times can the #3 be rolled: if you have it, once or twice a game if they have it, every other roll. You get close to winning - "so-so" wins by victory card. You finally get enough cards to build, 7's and robbers bring your cards to 0. Like, does the developer want you to play this game?

Worst cheating AI in the history of video games. It's honestly hilariously bad. Great game if you like hitting the pass button and having 0 resources for about 8 rounds despite having 6's & 8's whilst watching the Cpu rack up 27 resources each with their cities on 11 & 12 & if the ai ever does get low on resources we'll #£%! it, it'll build it anyway, yes the ai builds stuff without sufficient resources to do it and hopes you don't notice, it literally changes the rules to win.

Game is fun except for playing with the computer. The dice will only roll to benefit the computer and is not random at all. Please try to make it more realistic
My initial review seems to be missing. Anyways. It crashes, freezes, glitches, and is overall garbage. They haven't fixed it for over a year. We can just assume absolutely no one is minding this app anymore.
The game when it is working is awesome. This app is a great computer game adaptation of Catan. However, it is prone to glitches and this past week I can't play it at all because it says it has a bug and constantly closes spontaneously. Won't stay open longer than a few seconds anymore. To whom it may concern, you have designed a great app. Please fix it so it works as you designed! Thank you!
I tried, I thought it was just me.. but, no. The game is rigged against the player. The AI will roll the dice and you can turns... ( yes, Turns.. multiple turns) and it will draw whatever is needed against you. It's rigged!!
The game forgot my rememberme information and when I try to enter my password or reset it it switches to German and the confirm button doesn't work though the cancel ones do. I played for a couple hours today before it crashed and forgot my info and now I can't play.
Not one for reviews often but it must be said. Literally unplayable, game crashes 24/7. Even worse when playing online. Have never made it through 3 turns without a crash. Get very little for what you pay for (base game and standard map).
the activate registration email for online play was never received. I tried making multiple accounts with different emails to get activation email to play with my friends. I won't recommend this to anyone until this is fixed.
The app ruined a fun game!! It robs you ALL THE TIME when you are leading. Whenever you have more than 7 cards in your hand, it will surely roll the number 7 to rob you. After your turn, 96+ out of 100 times you get robbed. If you immediately close the game and relaunching it, it will roll another 7, and it will happen a several times in a row. Others 2, 3, 4 numbers are rolled 5X than your 6 or 8. Online play never worked. Developer won't respond or fix your issue. You get sabotaged ALLTHETIME!

Scam game. You need to pay additional money for access to all maps. Further on this, they won't refund this initial app costs if you find out. This is a scam. Don't, please never buy this. The creator of this should be punished.
AI favors the computer players it is ridiculous and I want my money back!
As other reviews say, the AI Robber mechanic is broken. Late game all the A.I. does is place the robber on your spot almost every turn. Makes the game extremely unfun.
Not optimized for Fold 6, so I can't get to some of the selections.
Same map forever
So looking forward to playing this. Gutted that after buying the game it's online only. You have to spend more money to get the campaigns. Tried to play online. The lag is awful and game cut out half way through. Waste of time and money.
The AI and dice rolling algorithm are set to make the player lose every game. The AI will roll 7 any time the robber is on their land and will keep it on yours forever... If you enjoy playing the Settlers of Catan board game with friends, you will probably want to avoid this game. I cannot believe that I paid money just to feel constantly cheated.
As the rest have already stated, you will just not win. I have played 50 games and won once. Somehow, every time you have cards, a 7 rolls. If you are up in points, somehow another player wins by victory points. If you have the 6,8,9 and the other players have 3,4,5...be assured that 3,4,5 will be rolled 10x as many as yours. Unbelievable Crazy how this still holds true so many years later

I have been playing this game on mobile on&off for over ten years. The AI is frustratingly biased Don't 'get ahead' in this game. The AI will gang up on you in ways that make sane people want to throw their phone. You will be robbed MERCILESSLY. The dice rolls with be what I can only describe as 'mathematically perfect random' ie; it will be nothing but 7's and you will not get any resources for many a roll. The digital experience Is wildly different than playing with a real board and dice.
Terrible
You to download it and get very little for your money. You still need to pay a lot more to get vast majority of the app. Online games don't get completed often because players can sit there forever and not do anything. You are left waiting and waiting and waiting.
