Tried to order online on cava app. The app is so bad. Couldn't add my credit card, then went through everything deleting old cards. Then went to submit order again and app said "your time slot is filled. Start a new order". I went and bought tacos

Putting this dog through a good LLM could fix this trash after taking some basic notes of other apps and using a stopwatch and counting clicks. And had a short memory and if order is in cart for over 30 minutes it deleted it and need to start over again and deal with the slow app again... No idea how this app is 4.5 ⭐ Fake reviews or an older version? Maybe they're rating food
this app still sucks it's been 5-10 years and it has not improved one bit

It always deletes the cart. So annoying.
app is awful. you can go through the process of adding your card to order and then if you don't have an account, you have to make an account and re-add your card details. it also doesn't tell you how many of each item you can add to your bowls.
"Digital Kitchen" makes me want to take my life by fire
food is great, but using the app is horrendous to non-existent!!??!! if you want to reward your loyal customers, splurge on great digital support.
I gave up on trying to order with this app and went in person instead. It repeatedly forgot where I was in my order and made me start again
It's slow and when I tried to order a grain and greens bowl, I picked my greens and then nothing happened. I couldn't make it to the next part. I tried a few things to advance it. I hit add to order and nothing happened. I was on WiFi with a good signal so I don't think it was my connection. I may just us s the website instead.

I love your restaurant and would eat there more if your app would work. I love that it saves my favorites but it no longer will put it in my cart it says that it is out of that item. I go directly to the menu and try to do it that way and it won't let it add to the cart. I am on an android. would love to see that it's fixed. I have the most updated version one of the reasons I ate there so much is I can quickly get to the app click it and drive there and pick it up okay but sometimes I can't do

terrible app, freezes and is slow. Will claim items are out but thenallow you to still place the order (because they aren't out). confusing navigation, using the web on your phone is way better.
this app is so so slow. faster to go into the store and wait in line than place a to go order.
I paid 4.00 for a side of eggplant dip and they gave us a tiny spoonful. way to cheap out on your carryout orders

This is app is so incredibly slow. takes forever to navigate through the menu and then the checkout just freezes. luckily my email notification let me know the order went through, while the app was stuck frozen at the checkout
This app is one of the most excruciating apps I have ever used! It's response time is extremely slow on my Android phone. It always takes me 10 to 15 minutes just to place an order. And I can't even tell you how many times it has cleared my cart because I wanted to navigate back to the home screen and look at the menu again. My honest suggestion to Cava management: hire some real app developers to redo the app from scratch and then trash this sorry excuse for an app.

I was trying to order online last week and the app was telling me the items I was ordering were out of stock yet when I went into the actual restaurant they had all the items I wanted. not sure how the app gets updated but that was a bit frustrating.
The food makes my mouth water, the app makes me want to do violence. (figuratively) It is insane to me that Im adding the like 2,000th negative comment on the app and they haven't done anything about it. Someone out there at CAVA headquarters has a job who.. well.. shouldn't.

app is running really slow
so, the food at cava is great but the app is super slow for no reason?? i have to wait a long time to go page to page, and every time i want to go to a different section to order I have to go back to the main page, where start a new order is a big button but continuing my current order is a smaller more hidden button and idk the UI just sucks and it's slow, other than that its good because it spares me the ordeal of telling a worker what i want so yeah, good luck
I ordered a salad and there were no utensils to eat with. They also forgot my pita chips to go along with the eggplant side.
This app is terrible now. Consistently tells you your payment information is wrong when it's clearly either a backend issue or the understaffed location is simply not accepting orders at the time. Order UI is slow and clunky now. anything you do in the cart blocks future user action until it is synced, with the three loading dots. incredibly frustrating to apply a promotion or even check the "free side pita" which is dark-pathed now. ew.

2nd consecutive order with ordered items left out.
Seems to be this location only.. always missing items... small portions compared to other locations
ill update to a higher star if this gets acknowledged but, please add an ASAP feature when ordering amd putting a time. i would like to select a future time and not have it ready 10-15 minutes before i get there and have it be cold already
