I USED to love this app but it's no longer working to have reoccurring charges show up. It let's me say it will happen again in a month, for example, but then it doesn't actually add the charge like it used to so I'm doing it manually.

For the last month or so, all of my data has been scrambled. Anytime I correct something, as soon as I go back in, it updates itself and it's all messed up again. I've been trying to delete stuff and recreate different accounts. I have contacted the developer a few times. Nothing is working and no contact back. Didn't used to be like this. I paid for and have been using this app for years and it used to be wonderful. I really wish it could get fixed.
This app SUCKS!. I have trouble with the reconcile feature. I click reconcile, then click a transaction to mark cleared and while it will mark the one, I can't mark another. Why can't the Payees list be in alphabetical order so I can easily see if one has been entered more than once. It creates multiples of the same Payee and after using for 3 years, it added a transaction every month for the same amount. Everything I delete one it takes me all the way back to the top. Will take forever to fix.
The last update screwed up my data and set it all the way back to December 2025!! I have too many accounts to start over. I have emailed support twice, no response. Tried to revert prior to update, didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled which didn't work because my data is still wrong. IDK what to do. UGH 😩
Reading the other reviews, it looks like I am not the only one who thinks this app is not as reliable as it used to be anymore. I have been using this app for years also..the last updates ruined my data, and there's no way I'm gonna spend hours to try to fix it. I found out the duplicates, corrected them, and yep, they went back the moment I reopened the app. So, I think it's time to find alternative now. Kinda sad...I love the app all these years tho... :(
I used to love this app but the latest update has utterly screwed it up, with all the balances being wrong and old transactions popping back up. What good is a checkbook that isn't accurate?
Latest update crashed my records. I've used this app for years w/o an issue. I bought the Premium version to get rid of the ads in April (I thought I already did in the past and the ads were never bothersome until recently) Next thing I know, app updates and it doubled all of my debits and showed I was 7k in the negative. I tried to fix it and lost YEARS of recurrent payments and have to manually reconcile against my bank records to try to fix it. I am beyond frustrated and regret buying Premium
the recent update has a huge bug I've basically lost all data as it's duplicated a bunch of transactions. I've message support many times with no response. I've been a lifetime member for over 6 years. So incredibly frustrating
I have used this app for YEARS, but now I'm looking for something different. The latest updated ruined my data...so much historical information now useless. So far it looks like the update duplicated recurring transactions for multiple previous months, but even after manually fixing that, balances are still off.
Unstable and unreliable app, which constantly suffers from duplicate data issues. Worst of all premium support is non-existent even with my lifetime license which I've been using for over 10 years & regret buying. I've given these people plenty of chances so it is time to look for something else. However, I figured I would let you good folks know my thoughts on this scrappy app before jumping ship. Good luck to everyone finding something better.
Every couple of years this app corrupts my data. I must start over loosing all my previous entries. Then also receiving adds, even though I purchased a lifetime account.
Used this app for years to manage our family's paycheck-to-paycheck budget - it was a lifesaver. Now, after a recent update, I can't edit anything, I have duplicate charges, and balances are all wrong. I paid for Premium that I can't even use. This "bug fix" created a much bigger bug. You're ignoring reviews and your loyal users are suffering real consequences. Please revert while you fix it. Looking for a replacement now.
"CRITICAL: Data Loss & App Freeze after Developer Update" I've emailed several times to no avail... I loved this app, I've had it over a decade and I even became a premium subscriber. But this last update completely messed up my accounts, I've lost up to 2021, 2022 on my ledgers. I can't input anything, it freezes and says app not responding. I tried to restore data- but it says my password is invalid- however, not during login. I need to restore data from the cloud pls, I need help!
Been using this for years. Lately it is full of bugs. Past cleared transactions pop up daily as uncleared. It's not worth the effort to go back every day and clear transactions. Things also do not sync properly between devices anymore. It used to work great, but now it's just a mess. I am a lifetime paid subscriber, but I'll happily pay someone else for a better app.
everything was fine less than 24 hrs ago and now ALLL of my accounts are messed up. ive tried everything and nothing is fixing them. everything is so messed up i dont even know where to begin to get them correct. i have also emailed customer support multiple times for help and still no response. ended up downloading a different app and deleting this one.
It's no longer working properly. Duplicate entries and balances that change daily without any entries. It was nice while it lasted. Time for a new app.
I've had this app for years. I initially tried it because it was free, liked it so much that I paid for the Premium Lifetime. Issues after every update, but usually resolved quickly. HOWEVER, after this last update on May 27, 2026, my balances are incorrect, balances keep changing and the app keeps crashing. I've done the restore and it went clear back to 2019. I've emailed every email available and have heard nothing back. Prior to the May 27, 2026 update I loved it.
I have loved this app for a long time, but as I opened the app to update a bill I paid, the app shows me $9K overdrawn. Many of my reoccurring payments have run multiple times, and many things that had been marked as cleared were now showing uncleared. Not sure what happened or what to do to correct it. Very frustrated
Editing review: New update just duplicated and tripled my recurring transactions to the tune of -6000 all the way back to last year. It's impossible to find everything. Sad as I really loved this app. Old reviews: It's as close to great as it can be!
UPDATE (May 2026): If I could leave negative 10 stars, I would. The latest update created multiple random duplicates of register entries. I spent hours yesterday trying to fix it only to find that everything I did was added back in. That is frustrating enough, but add in that there has been NO RESPONSE FROM THE DEVELOPER puts it over the top. IS IT BEING FIXED???? 2024 review: Twice now I've opened the app only to find my account gone - all of it. Beyond frustrated!
Been using the paid version for years. Lately, the app keeps crashing out and giving the wrong balance. The register is showing that some amounts haven't cleared from months ago even though we know we cleared them.

this is the third time I've reviewed this product. they previously had an issue with a duplicate data but they found a fix for that. unfortunately it's no longer working and my daughter is extremely skewed and I cannot get it fixed. I reached out to support but no one returned my email. I'm super frustrated.
Update 5/28/26: Latest update ruined this app for me. First it duplicated all of my recurring transactions for the last 6 months, sometimes for different amounts on different dates. Then it deleted all of my account information when I tried to check my lifetime premium status and add an account. Now, I'm stuck trying to recreate everything as accurately as possible since not all of my transactions have posted. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!
Since the update on May 24th 2026 my checkbook has been a mess. there are duplicates showing up with incorrect amounts. And I don't have the time to go in and delete stuff from over a year to get my checkbook up to date. I've never had problems with this app until now. I am quite frustrated and.... I pay for premium.
This app just glitched out and now all my data is a mess. I am going to find an app that actually works. So disappointing.
Was a great app until the most recent update. Having the same issues as everyone else....duplicate data I can't search for nor fix using the option, missing transactions....I've used this app for 10 years, was great, now my data is Swiss cheesed.
This latest update ruined my checkbook. It brought back transactions from a year ago. It changed account balances. This is not a trustworthy app anymore. All my balances are wrong now. It undeleted accounts. I will be looking for a different app because this one just became 100% useless to me.
last update destroyed the app. It's as if the update caused it to duplicate every transaction from the past 4 months and remove any income. It also went back and uncleared about a hundred transactions from back in November and December of last year. This morning I just realized that it completely decimated my recurring payments list. It brought back old payments and duplicated current payments. Now I have to spend an hour going through and fixing this 🤬
I paid for the app and it worked great for about 1 month, but now it won't save my entries making it useless 😒
Absolutely terrible when updated. All my account data is messed up. I spent over an hour fixing it all, just to reopen the app and it reverted to the incorrect data. This seems to happen with nearly every update. I spend way too much time fixing issues they cause. the fix duplicate data should fix it but that doesnt work. The data export does not work.
This app continues to crash and I'm so over it!
update 05/2026 - some kind of glitch erased all my data. September 2020 Update: recent app updates have increased the frequency of ads, and one always pops up right in the middle of me entering a transaction. Still a useful app, but a bit annoying. Great, fast, and easy way to keep track of your bank account balances.
After a couple fixes the app is back to being great!
I'm starting to regret getting the lifetime license. Devs are unresponsive to problems, and the app crashes when trying to fill in the memo line. It also needs to use biometrics as an option for security, but I'm so far as I can find, it completely lacks this option. Edit: it changes amounts in the account, without warning or reason.
I have used this app for years and today may app has duplicates sometime even quadruples my reoccurring items and messes every up. i deleted the app and reinstalled only to get 2020 data and then again and got 2023 data. I am currently looking for another app to replace this.
I paid for it and it's trash. used it for years and magically last night it's bugging out making ghost transactions doubling recurring transactions. if it gets fixed and doesn't keep screwing my finances it's a 5 star app
Was fine for years until recent update, now there's tons of duplicate transactions and everything is off now.
After months of none of my recurring charges working they all appeared today and made all of my accounts so out of balance.
The app has now uploaded dozens of duplicate recurring transactions throwing off all of my balances
The new update only allows you to see the app in landscape view not in portrait and as soon as you try to go to settings it completely closes the app
This WAS the best app I found that I liked switching from IPhone to Samsung, which I bought the lifetime purchase for it. After less than a month of using it there was a glitch that my data was way off from my bank, so I tried to print a report. I got a message the app has a bug & the app closed. I contacted the developer about the bug, but haven't received a reply.
I have loved this app for years. now its randomly changing my balance by thousands of dollars, un-clearing transactions that cleared months ago. the total in my accounts changed by -$8000 in a matter of minutes and I cant figure out what happened. I have to find a new app and that sucks.
i purchased the app after years of having the free version and it never went on my phone so I don't have any charts of my spending or anything honestly its frustrating when you spend $20 on a app and it doesn't work 😡
Worked really well at first, although the constant ads were over the top (so I paid the higher amount for the lifetime membership). However, it's gone completely haywire now. It will no longer sync. If I login and make an entry, it won't show changes on other devices (tablet to phone). My wife and I also use the same account, but again, it won't sync between phones. So now I'm searching for something that works. I've deleted and reinstalled this twice with no luck fixing it.
Been using this app for several years and paid for lifetime membership. It no longer updates my recurring transactions. I usually will front fill stuff to keep a running tally then delete the front filled one once the recurring transaction shows up. I have had recurring transactions not update for weeks. I currently have some that should have been updated four days ago and the recurring feature still shows Feb as the last date.
UPDATE 3/10/26 app dropped most of my recurring bills. HUGE problem. I've put some back but it's hard to know what might still be missing. also, this app could really use a search function Incorrect info after logged out. I was forced out and when I logged back in the data is incorrect. I suspect a bunch of expenses are missing. I paid for this, need it fixed ASAP
