After less than a month of using it there was a glitch that my data was way off from my bank, so I tried to print a report. I got a message the app has a bug & the app closed. I contacted the developer about the bug, but haven't received a reply.

i purchased the app after years of having the free version and it never went on my phone so I don't have any charts of my spending or anything honestly its frustrating when you spend $20 on a app and it doesn't work 😡

If I login and make an entry, it won't show changes on other devices (tablet to phone). My wife and I also use the same account, but again, it won't sync between phones. So now I'm searching for something that works. I've deleted and reinstalled this twice with no luck fixing it.
Been using this app for several years and paid for lifetime membership. It no longer updates my recurring transactions. I usually will front fill stuff to keep a running tally then delete the front filled one once the recurring transaction shows up. I have had recurring transactions not update for weeks. I currently have some that should have been updated four days ago and the recurring feature still shows Feb as the last date.
This app has been great for yrs, until it ran an update and wiped all my info, GONE
UPDATE 3/10/26 app dropped most of my recurring bills. HUGE problem. I've put some back but it's hard to know what might still be missing. also, this app could really use a search function Incorrect info after logged out. I was forced out and when I logged back in the data is incorrect. I suspect a bunch of expenses are missing. I paid for this, need it fixed ASAP

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared caches, etc. So now I will write a poor review because it seems like this app does not have support anymore.
I have used this app for so many years at this point, I bought the lifetime premium all those years ago and it was working fine but now that I'm switching phones again it won't transfer my data to the new phone. I have emailed support twice on 2 different topics and I have yet to get a response I really don't want to lose all these years of transactions

I've been using this app for 6+ years and it's been fine for the most part. But lately it's been reallt buggy. Money in my accounts are changing values (my spending account went from $160 to -1175 out of nowhere). And I paid for lifetime premium/no ads and all of a sudden I'm getting ads again. I'm super disappointed because I really liked this app.

It's no longer worth it to me to have to reinvent the wheel.
Originally gave 5 stars for functionality so I decided to purchase the lifetime version for $19.99. After the purchase, they have continued to bill my account for a $1.99 monthly subscription! I've contacted them and sent proof of the lifetime purchase and still no resolution nor response! Fraudulent!!!
lousy app,unfortunately you cant really try it out since it keeps showing you ads to purchase before even using
I have used this app for many years with no issues. the most recent update I lost all my account information. in addition when I tried to start over I realized that I could no longer have my checking account and saving account. the app now charged for more than 1 account. I sent several emails to customer service prior to learning about the new charges but did not receive any response. I have now deleted this app .
Complete garbage. Don't use this app. I purchased the premium in 2018. Lost my data in 2020. Reached out to them and never heard back. Started over with local backup. Backed up and exported data. Lost data again 12-21-25. Unabled to restore and you can't import the data from exported file. I'll be shock if they respond to this review since they didn't respond to my review in 2020 or the email I sent them!

Obviously it makes the app somewhat useless if at any time you could open it to find years worth of transactions missing so I'll be finding a different app now.
Untrustworthy app. Been using this app since 2018. This morning, went to add 2 deposits. I supposedly have no accounts listed. I have 2 brother in laws (husbands siblings in Arizona), a mother in law, 3 kids (2 are adults), 5 siblings, & at least 15 church members who have seen me use this app consistently in the past 7 years.
After last update all my information is gone

I am only leaving a one star review so you can contact me as there is no way for me to contact you about an issue transferring my account from one phone to another. I have a lot of data stored but I'm not signed in, if I sign in it goes away, and comes back if I sign out, please reach out to me or list a good email for support, thanks.

I loved this app and used it for everything account related. One day I went to sign on and everything for the last year was gone and I can't get it back for some reason.

I would have given this a 5 star. because this has been the best ledger I have found..... but because I had to factory reset my phone, I lost all my apps and when I redownloaded this one and I logged back in to my ALREADY PAID UPGRADED VERSION of this app and it's saying now I have to pay again and that my user wasn't found when I tried downloading my backup. I'm trying to find out how to report this because that is not how you should be doing business. l already paid the 20 bucks.
I paid for the lifetime subscription and have enjoyed the app for 2 years. However, last week, it lost all my data and can no longer find my account. I tried to restore my data, but nothing was there. I tried to repurchase, but it tells me I already have it. I've tried contacting the company multiple times with no response.
I have a new phone, I installed checkbook and signed into my account. It only shows two transactions when I had hundreds and the balance is not correct. When I try to restore data, the checkbook app prompts me to log into my account when I try to login I get a message that says" there is no user record corresponding to this identifier the users may have been deleted. When I use checkbook on my old phone everything is correct. PS. Everything on my old phone was correct. Now booth phones lost ever

It's ok when it works. It doesn't process recurring payments well. I paid for the app. The app did not properly document my monthly mortgage payment. Tried for a half hour to get the recurring payment to register. I give up. This is the 5th time it's had issues.

I really liked this app, but it just deleted my entire account. No warning. Just gone. after realizing this was the simplest app, I am paying for it now. it's still worth it.
I used to love this app however now every couple of weeks, it logs me out and I have to log back on. This wouldn't be an issue. However, it takes 15-20 mins for it to "update data," and that's if it even updates and doesn’t start over. There are a lot of ads but that I can deal with since its free, but not being able to see my checkbook when I need to is why im switching to a new app.
I would. give it 5 stars, but it's no longer working in portrait mode on my Z-Fold, and every time I go into one account to add a transaction, when I go to change the date, it switches to another account. Also, why is the calendar permanently on the front page? There should be an option to hide it. Please fix these issues!
I'm starting to regret getting the lifetime license. Devs are unresponsive to problems, and the app crashes when trying to fill in the memo line. It also needs to use biometrics as an option for security, but I'm so far as I can find, it completely lacks this option.
All data is gone. Got new phone a few months ago, transferred everything from old phone to new phone, but none of my account info, balances, transactions,etc from this app transferred over. My bad, I didn't think to make a back up. I had to start from scratch. I just went to check a specific transaction, when app opened it wanted to me to log in. All of my data was lost. Didn't show any accounts nothing. Logged in again & most recent back up was from 2023. Liked app before I got new phone.
