Don't interrupt my game begging for a review.
After a while,I still not recommend for wasting a money on this game.
I don't see any instructions on importing saved games - not even on your website, which has no user forum for questions and answers (why?). I want to set up endgame positions and save them for later practice. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this with your program (again why?), so I have to find another way to do this. What program do you recommend for creating the saved games? What file format is required? What filename extension is required?
terrible app. back to the same screwed up level settings. level 1 plays like level 5 and visa versa. pathetic.
Multi-player mode is a cesspool of bad sportsmanship. This app should have basic features to punish bad-faith players who abandon or ghost the match when they feel like they are losing. These features should already exist for a paid chess app. Implement these features and I'll give the app 5 stars. The team will tell you that they are developing multi-player and gathering suggestions, but these suggestions have been there for years, and still no meaningful change. Feels like a lie at this point.
This is a terrible chess app. The engine plays with near perfect accuracy regardless of the level it is trying to mimic and occasionally throws in a mistake meaning it is terrible at mimicking different levels of experience. If you are trying to learn the game, avoid this app.
I assumed this was a good game to study chess and find mistakes in your play. I was wrong.
The layout on tablet is broken and elements of the game screen are off screen. It seems like the game is unable to go proper full screen on certain tablets, leaving the taskbar of the tablet showing on the bottom, while internally it uses the tablets screen size to render stuff, having as result that things in the game are overflowing off screen. EDIT: From my email exchange with them, the issue seems to be known on different devices.
Thus app plays faultless chess for about 10 to 20 moves, often gaining an equal or winning position, but then to "simulate human error" it frequently blunders away the queen or a rook in a way that no human would do. This makes it pointless to play as you gain nothing from playing an opponent who you know will hang a major piece in a painfully obvious way if you can just hold out until the early middlegame.
