Admittedly it made me a little sad after my dog passed earlier this year that there was no acknowledgement. I know some people get really nice things like art of their pets, but even just a simple "sorry for your loss" card (or hell even an email) would've been nicer than total silence, just thought about this again today and it kind of stung. EDIT - seeing a review from someone else mention that ALL they got was an AI generated condolences message...wow. How horrible. Won't buy from chewy again
ordered from chewy one time about a month ago , did not sign up for free trial or for a membership and they charged my account on April 30th for 79 dollars, when contacting them immediately 5 min after the charge they cancelled the membership assured me I would not be charged, but has kept the authorization hold for the money , preventing my money from being returned, also customer service is going to record you but they don't consent to you recording conversations with them!

My pet died and I had to go in and cancel some stuff. The website's AI offered me some flowery condolances. WOW! A fake computer generated condolance. Why bother? The humans at chewie just want my money. They don't give a rat's behind about my loss. (As evidenced by turning the task over to ai in the 1st place!) ADDENDUM:the dev ai responded with more fake cgc condolances! And now that ai wants me to call and talk to more ai! My next pet doesnt need u-it's an ai fish!-checkmate chewie!
why is this app so terrible? it is SUPER slow on every connection and frequently stops working.
I ordered a doggie toy and see the money has been taken from my account yet no toy. and it said on my account clothing. trying to reach you is impossible.

You sent only one item, that I can get cheaper locally and now you want to charge me $79 a year fee.
the app finally got broken enough for me to uninstall it today. it decided to refresh the page instead of scrolling up. the lack of ability to set a notification for an upcoming auto shipment is not an oversight, I'm sure. no benefits to using the app.

Very first order they delivered to the wrong address. Fought me tooth and nail not to give a refund or resend the package. Don't bother with them

Constant, consistent problems with Chewy for years. I can't take anymore, deleting account
losing interest in chewy. website now forces you to turn off VPN. who does chewy think they are? vet RX needed foods get no discounts or apply to the spend $100 get $30 gift card promo. (medications come with a discount if you purchase, why is food any different?) they also have not responded to an email sent to them about helping donate to those desperately needing it, those who can't leave their homes and need to feed their pets and families. chewy doesn't care. chewy lost a customer.
The app keeps showing it needs to update. I've cleared everything - Cache, cleared, uninstalled, reinstalled & still the App says 'Update Required'. Smph 😵💫

Unreliable shipping on multiple items over the course of a year. Will no longer be using.
Incomplete or inconsistent product information. Videos don't play in landscape view and the stupid app has a seizure every time I turn it sideways wasting a phenomenonal amount of time. Product results are shown in garbage results that aren't clear to view details that should be shown in the search results page. Products do not meet my specific search criteria.
Good selection of products, but a *TRULY* sub-par app. Choose your filters, then you're shown a *long* list of results. Scroll down, reading the highlights as you go. Stop on one that looks interesting... However, product photos CANNOT be magnified (to read labels), and when you're finished reading, click out of the details, and IT SCROLLS YOU BACK TO THE *TOP* OF YOUR FILTERED LIST! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Update: Last order stalled at a nearby State. A day later, it was *two* States further away!
ordered supplies for a new puppy, as we don't have that kind of supply store near me, and the order was delayed by FedEx 4 times by FedEx X. we had to go without many of the training items and purchase other food from walmart. It has happened before, and with other stores too. Stop using FexEx!!!
Customer Service is inconsistent. Deleting the app and my account. I'm done
