This app is absolute trash. Their promotions are lies, and they are too coward to allow you to speak to a human being and instead cowardly direct you to AI, who, I might say now I see why they call it 'Artificial' because it's just as dumb and cowardly as the humans hiding from their commitments they promise to fulfill but DO NOT....
The app did not recognize my address as a "valid address", which prevented me from getting past onboarding.
Allows individuals to do fraudulent activities, and refuses to help people. Refuse, as in, once the money is accepted on another individual's account chime will do nothing to get it back. All consumer departments within Chime do nothing but talk you around corners. In honors of father's day, your company should have given my father back his money from the individual(s) who took it.
The app is a waste of time. I do not have patience. Attempted to sign up and it wouldn't allow me to and said it wouldn't give a reason why. NEED HELP! HELLO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Chime has decided to close my account for non compliance, but can't tell me what was not compliant. I've had this account for years.
downloaded chime just to go around in circles to sign up. it would have me do the same thing over and over on the app and the website. I tried and now I'm done. uninstalling.

their support team when money comes up missing is horrible, my dispute was closed twice without even a phone call. worst customer service I've ever had, other then that I loved chime. looking for others options at the moment.
If you are retired and/or you receive direct deposits monthly, you will not be able to get a direct deposit set up and posted to your account within the 45 day requirement to receive any promised cash bonuses. Chime WILL NOT accommodate your situation.
I think chime sucks i can't even get my own money off my card. I had to give one star they deserve less
THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY !!!WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, support is now in India also so good luck hearing them with the thick accents. someone got into my account, they locked it for fraud and now I cant make any purchases. they say to wait and try again 🤣 its been 3 days update- still being told there is nothing they can do, and I cannot spend the money in my account all while the Indian lady talked and yelled over me.
Chime WAS a decent online bank, but with all the scammers & others that are trying to get money from people. They just close ANY ACCOUNT that appears to be within such (weather scammer or duped person).
Horrible experience today about IRS Refund Deposit😐Received notification that my refund ACH Deposit was returned due to name discrepancies and now when I called today was told that it look suspicious 😕. I assumed they were able to verify like other brick and motar Banks 🏦 like Chase , Wells Fargo, Bank of America whom I had in the past. I will make sure I do Deposit with brick and motar not online bank institutions like this Bank.
I was a victim of a scam. I made a mistake of trying to sell some Barbies, but the person who I was messaging with on the Nextdoor app and talking to on the phone wasn't the same person. However, I had to download this app, and now I am out of $100. Later, I found out that Chime doesn't help victims of scams, so as soon as my bank is or isn't able to get my money back, I am deleting this app. I refuse to have it still. I completed a survey for Chime about this.

Normally, I reserve 1-star reviews for apps that prompt me to rate them in-app. But i'll make an exception for Chime. If you are self-employed and/or don't get paid through D.D., DO NOT use this app. They will make your experience worse until you set it up and get paid (they make money on the interchange fees). They constantly send pop-ups that block half/the whole screen, and just today started blocking my checking acct balance on the main screen. Get a bank that works with you, not Chime.

Be a bank like you should be, and stop with all the ads, links, and random incentives. if you can't function like you claim without all of the above. I dont think you should have any business dealing with money. can you say SPAM.
