Choosy: Essensplaner & Rezepte

Ich hätte eine Menge Kartoffeln kaufen können, für den Monatspreis einer App die "Iss ein Butterbrot mit Käse" für Mealplanning hält. Das Interface ist unnötig kompliziert, die Rezepte alles andere als ausgewogen. und so endet man damit endlos durch 999 Varianten von Brot mit... zu forsten, bis man etwas gefunden hat von dem man evtl satt wird und, dass einen bis zum Abendessen über Wasser hält. Für einen möglichstvstimmigen Einkaufszettel muss man trotzdem selbst sorgen.

The app does not let me choose the language. I live in Germany, but I don't know german. Went through installation hoping that it will let me choose language later, but no. It is completly unusable for me.

Great idea, until the greed set in and you have to start paying. And that for an app that's basically one big supermarket advert.

Since the update useless!

I get it, trying to acquire users but it's not fun to fill a 12 steps form and then in order to see something account creation is required. Just be transparent instead, but nowadays that's too much to ask.

Onboarding takes sooo long and all you get is a few recipes for the rest of the week. Don't get it.

cant switch the language

Free trial requires a credit card. This is very user unfriendly. There doesn't seem to be any recipe export functionality. The website for choosy is too barebones that it basically is not fit for purpose. The website only shows the ingredients lists for recipes, but not the steps. The website also does not support a household. Only my own recipes are visible.

Vor dem ersten Plan, musste ich 5-10 Mal explizit nein zu irgendwelchen Premium Angeboten sagen. Obwohl als Präferenz "Flexitarier" ausgewählt ist, waren 7 der ersten 10 vorgeschlagenen Mahlzeiten fleischhaltig. Die anderen 3 sind wohl veggie, allerdings waren das Premium Rezepte, so dass ich die Zutaten nicht sehe. Nachdem ich mich nun von 15 Minuten Benutzung der App 14 geärgert habe, wird sie deinstalliert. Schade, dass dies die einzige deutsche Alternative zu Mealime zu seien scheint :-(

Leider nur mit dem Handy benutzbar??? ohne Webapp auf dem Desktop. Ansonsten sieht die App relativ ok aus

Früher war die App simpel und einfach, mittlerweile ist sie einfach nur unübersichtlich und dämlich. Alles ist komplizierter geworden und die neuen Features sind 100% nutzlos. Echt dchade.

The recipes are great. But the weekly plans don't make any sense at all. Because the app tells you to buy tons of stuff on a daily basis and then never uses any of the ingredients you have bought ever again.
