In fact the devs are so bad that they don't even have the courtesy to answer emails sent to the official email listed in the "contact" section of this app in the Play Store. Now that's arrogance!!!!....... Most narcissistic app devs in the Play Store!
the app crashes everytime you try to pay your costco credit card and on the desktop site they try to make you believe you have to open an other account with them to pay it, complete scam. if you want to pay your card use your real bank account like desjardins and go to pay bills, enter your card number and then transfer the money, you dont need e transfer. avoid costco credit "membership" card. its a scam

CIBC app stopped working. No notice. I went to make and order but could not because my password is home. This bank has zero customer service. Hires agents with poor English to avoid paying a fair wage. Scam fees on accounts. Sells ur info. Uses your voice, stored online.

I am having problem with the app as it says pending takes some days as it used to take a day or two to post it. another issue it shows zero balance when I should have available credit . also it charged me twice the transaction didn't experience this with me previous card it all started when once I received after my renewal card. please solve the issue

IT WON'T LOAD!!! Sick and tired of it. Already tried reinstalling a few times, and updating it. Still won't work. Nice app if it works though.
have to turn off my wifi for it to load,have a new galaxy 25 and the app is updated... the screen just sits frozen until i open it with my wifi off
Unable to register my new phone for push notifications, and the app simply suggests "try again with a different device". Absolutely zero customer service delivered.

After the newest update, the app just won't load on my phone, no matter if I uninstall it and install it again, I've tried clearing the cache and data but it doesn't seem to work either.
Completely unusable. For months, this app has been stuck on the loading screen. Nothing fixes it. This app used to be good, but now it is no more functional than an oversized PNG.

"app needs to be updated" Try talking to telephone banking reps that ALL speak English as a 2nd or 3rd language and send you in a loop of transferring you over and while having to wait every time. Over an hour I was transfered through SIX COMPLETE INCOMPETENT representatives! Just spoke with the 10th representative regarding the same matter... and still is not resolved! This bank is pathetic!

worst app ever. too many advertisements in the wrap. it blocks half the screen and the two-step verification is ridiculous and when you buy something it literally does an update until three to five business days which is nuts.

It's been months and nothing has been done. the all still keeps freezing and some days - days, it just doesn't work. This is unacceptable. It's a banking app! it's time you do something with all the money you make off of fees.

Horrible app. It is extremely annoying as it doesn't work over half the time. Just want to check my balance and cant even do that. other issues with the bank itself so probably gonna switch banks.
ANNOYING! Stop showing me tips every single time I use the app, and sometimes it's multiple tips as I use the app. Worst part is that I get the first time the app is used, but these repeat constantly! STOP IT OR I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS TO ANOTHER BANK! Your bank app is the only one that I have seen that does this. STOP IT!

Offers upon offers upon offers. F OFF! The only reason I have this app is to check my Costco CC balance and pay it. I hate that I have to be in the CIBC ecosystem to do that.

Opaque customer support and frustrating lack of communication. I'm switching to another bank, and you should too.
the app is good but I have a problem with the bank charging insufficient funds on a child's account for not having enough for the service charges that is supposed to be a free account till they turn 19. Sometimes they charge $5 nsf and sometimes its $10 nsf and sometimes they don't charge and last month I see they charged nsf on my daughter's account and she even had money in it.
