I never had issues with the app until recently. Now it is unpredictable whether it will work. If I want to make a payment, I have to use the web. It's very annoying.

Beware, most of their offers are fake or misleading. I got offer for 5% interest on new deposits, and later they said it was for one month and now I am getting.033%. no other bank does like this.
The App can't be opened because when it asks for the security code it resets to login when you leave the app to check the text

Terrible interface. Constantly gets stuck loading the main page to even sign in. Have to constantly open & force close the app all the time. Makes a simple task like checking my balance extremely frustrating for no reason.
Crazy load times, weird glitches and more. This app is trash
The app is mostly broken. popups crash, handoffs to their internal sites, including rewards freeze and do not complete. You'd think that an outfit with billions in profits, including federal funding, could make an app that works.. Alas, the app is as high quality as their customer service. It's so bad that only bots staff the feedback area.
My Dad and me using this app and we can't login in the app for the second week already. Can't check our balances, can't manage our transactions at all. The app just shows white screen with the cibc logo and not loading 😑. We tried to restart our phones, reinstall the app, clear app cache, and nothing helps. It happens constantly on each device and different locations. Very frustrated with this app. It is very inconvenient with a lot of constant adds and constant technical issues.

CIBC in Canada should be boycott by all Canadians. They are robbing Canadians blind. I was late on a couple payments and the started threatening me with 27% interest on my card. Haha and my balance is small.

just realized that my schedule etransfer actually was not scheduled. im 100 percent sure i had not reached my daily limit and that im not dreaming. this app is very unreliable and getting worsw and worse every day.
YOU NEED TO EITHER ENCOURAGE YOUR CUSTOMERS TO USE THE MAIN WEBSITE, OR UPGRADE THE APP! YOU GOT A SERVICE PROBLEM OF SPEEDING UP THE FREQUENCY!

horrendous app, if it's not crashed it's some other reason to be down, how is anyone supposed to do any banking when their app is constantly being down, they only ever have one person working inside any branch on any given day so they force you to use the app...DO BETTER!!!

sign in not working
Every few weeks the app keeps rejecting my biometrics for fingerprint scanning. I have to clear the cache and re-download the app. Might just closed my account with how terrible the Android experience is.

key word search in accounts doesnt work. any transactions older then a month disappear from your account page with no way to see it. annoying pop-up ads for their own products they're trying to push when you open the ap. i will be giving back the $500 i got for signing up because CIBC has been a nightmare from start to finish and I would literally pay them money to not have to deal with them anymore. good riddance.
I have to disconnect both from my network AND my wifi as well as force closing te app multiple times because your app is very faulty. It takes up to 20 minutes to successfully log in. Do better.
