Absolute trash. Jumped through all the hoops support asked me to do in regards to my network only for them to keep telling me it's an issue on my end.

Won't connect tried multiple times
Been trying to use for about a month now. The app crashes right away and a screen saying this app has a bug please update pops up.
Does not update stats. App states that it was updated at 7:30 p.m., and it's now 10 p.m., and there is still no update. 2 1/2 hours and still no update.

My first "free subscription" device wouldn't even connect despite following the instructions. How can you expect someone to pay after that initial experience? I personally have 7 cigar oasis - you realize how poorly it reflects on your company to charge for the app?
Subscribe monthly so your humidifier will tell you its status. In the age of smart devices, the audacity required to charge me for these basic functions is pretty wild. Nobody does this. Tons of way cheaper products don't charge for wifi functionality.

It's horrible! The connection process is trash and frustrating. You have to pay for it monthly or annually when I can buy products that are better easier for my 2 humidors. Customer service is 100% unhelpful. Hard pass I will spend more for better and it makes me rethink Cigar Oasis overall now. That stupid triangle warning is now on 24/7 and I hate it.

I will change my review if someone from product support reaches out, but thus far I've only gotten answering machines. This app crashed the firmware on the brand new unit.
Horrible! Tried to sign up for yearly membership. Kept getting error saying I wasn't connected to the internet. Was charged 6 times and refunded 5 times. Now google is asking me to confirm plan in the app but there is no way to do that. Can't cancel either, so now i'm stuck with a subscription I can't use! Total garbage app! Update - My login issue was fixed but now Im getting an error to please contact the administrator when I log in.

Evidently, this app does not support the Ultra 2.0 models. Now I have no way to monitor via the web or an app. I have 4 Ultra 2.0's and now they are bricks :( Not to mention that it appears you have to have a monthly subscription now!! Hundreds of dollars down the drain.
Hot garbage , after completing all of the required steps , this POS still won't allow me to connect to my phone via wifi. What a waste of FN time , I just hope that this FN POS works in my humidor......
Don't bother. Does not work in real time (which would make the app barely useful as a subscription app), but everything you can do with the app, you can do by simply reading and adjusting the unit. MAYBE if this was a one time fee, I'd do it, but a subscription? For something that you rarely adjust and no real time reading? Pffft. Something like this should have been included in the price we paid for the unit itself. Get real.

Not a misunderstanding... your disclaimer in device settings says, "If the set point did not update on your Cigar Oasis device, please unplug and replug the device to reset the connection from the internet." How can you justify charging customers for a subscription? If I pay you money, every feature should work. You know there's an issue and your solution is a disclaimer to unplug the device while using an app intended for remote control... this isn't right.
I wish we could give negative stars. This has to be the most useless, worthless, and poorly designed application I have ever tried to use. I say tried because it never would work. I highly recommend this application be removed and something useful put in it's place.
Now been using it for about a month and so far its did not push any notifications of alters. The user interface can be improved and since i am only monitor one Humidor then it should take me directly to the humidor dashboard not to the menu to select humidor. Also the reading from the device to the app is delayed and it takes some time for it to show the actual reading, in should be instant.
Love the OASIS! Works great! I have had some minor wifi syncing issues, but as it turned out they were mainly MY IGNORANCE. A special shout out to Dan Barranco who was always helpful in getting me on the straight and narrow path!!!! I highly recommend the Oasis!!!! Great customer service!!!!!
The device is so expensive then they want more money for you for a subscription! They app is so poorly designed connective is poor ! I'm so disappointed in cigar oasis! Will be writing a poor amazon review aswell
Just updated the software and now my Magna 3.0 cannot be reconnected. It won't let me reconnect my device after seeing messages to contact my system administrator. There isn't any help online for this. My free subscription will expire in a few days. Wish I wouldn't have spent the $$$ on the unit. My husband has the same result with humidity beads and saved over $250.
The application experience lacks on every level. I will not be renewing my subscription next cycle, as it is simply not worth what it provides. The ESP firmware for the device is equally lacking. Constantly failing for no valid reason. Support experience could be loads better from the moment a person needs it (web form asking for human to input information in that the app already has). Responses to comments here are telling. Cannot rely on these products to protect my collection.
Just opened my magma oasis, downloaded the app, and you have to be kidding me. It takes longer set this up the it did setting 3 booster towers around my property. Now I am stuck on the connect setup page with all fields populated and the submit button is grayed out. Guys, if you want someone to pay for this app, you have to do better then this.
I think "smart" is a bad choice for the name. I have been trying for 2 days to get this thing hooked up to the internet. Now it is "pending validation" with no explanation of what that means. It is absolutely frustrating and makes me question why I need it much less why I'd pay for it. How can something so simple be so complicated. EDIT: After waiting for 2 days and numerous attempts I finally deleted it. It kept telling me that my wifi had no internet connection. Decided I don't need it anyway.

And a 30 day free trial after I pay over about 200 bucks for a glorified hygrometer with an OASIS!!! Fillee humidifier that has a small fan attached..
Where to begin....EXTREMELY large app for the very basic functions it provides. At best this should be maybe 10-15 megs. Setup was a pain. It connects and disconnects. For the simple things it's supposed to do, it can't do them consistently and they want people to pay for it??? There is no way at this time I will pay to use this service. Whoever designed it should be fired. Expected more from Cigar Oasis in the 21st century especially since there are free options out there that do a great job at monitoring humidity, you just can't adjust it. Been using their products for probably 20+ years. There's no excuse at this point in time to release an app and service that sucks so bad.
The App does not show actual real time readings from the unit. It shows the readings from the unit when it was plugged in but the readings do not change in the App. Readings are not real-time. I will wait 24 hours and see if anything changes.
Very hard to read the Times and Dates and info in the axis of the reported graph timeline. No Realtime reporting of temp/humidity. I dont think I will be buying into the monthly/yearly subscription service for an app that does so little. Dont get me wrong though; I purchased the humidifier not for the app but for my cigars and it does a fine job, the app, not so much.
Subscription? Really? I bought the manga 3.0 for $200 and they charge for a subscription? After my 30 day trial I will be removing the app. The app should be free.
3.0 was a step into the dark ages! I've had a few of the smaller Excel 2.0 units and they worked great. Decided to upgrade one of them and get a Magna 3.0, what a mistake that was. The Wi-Fi is terrible. It will connect and give updates, then the next hour just stop. I tried unplugging and nothing; I've tried reset and redo setup and same result. Also that this device must use a dedicated 2.4ghz network is so arcaic, but I did that too without any success. Scour ebay for 2.0 devices!!!
Was really hoping for the wifi monitoring to work. No matter what I did or changed it refused to connect. Very disappointing
Apologies of the second review. I deleted my first rating by accident. The subscription service should be stated clearly on the packaging. The device itself is advertised as being WiFi compatible leading the customer to believe nothing more is required. If the service worked flawlessly, the fee would be a little more feasible however several errors have accrued during my trial period. One being that the device's hygrometer would freeze at 30% and fan moisture continuously.
Are you guys at Cigar Oasis even paying attention to the comments. You seem to have an excuse for all our comments but have yet to resolved any of them. Its not one or two, it everyone. We are not amatures here. We know how to set up wifi technologies and use software and smartphones. Come-on-guy. Get with it!
They want to grease you for a subscription to your own data
Wifi doesn't work Too bad because would have been a great idea but does not work. I have 2 systems and none of them work. Canceled subscription. I reached out to someone from your company who tried to repair the issues I had going one and was very unsuccessful. Not from lack of trying but it simply just doesn't work and it's a shame because it's an amazing idea.
Garbage and they want you to pay to check on your cigars. Ridiculous!

Would love to give a review but "submit" button to connect to wifi stayed disabled no matter what I did!
Won't connect to WiFi as described my submit button is greyed out. And I have 2.5 wifi
I got the magna 3.o , why after i connect to the wifi is asking for a subscription and is not giving me the free trial , they are offering when new
Inaccurate and it really doesn't provide anything useful especially if you have to pay for it.
Does nothing, if you pay $4 a month you get basically what you see by opening the door of your humidor...
