This is not my complaint, as the end-to-end process depends on both the company and the TSA. My complaint is their evasiveness. The app will put you through an enrollment and ID scan process, and soon claims to have a QR code you can show the TSA, and go silent about whether it will work or how to check.

Customer Support is trash. The contact us number lives in "all our agents are busy helping other customers", the email no one responds, the AI is useless and the human agents either leave you in read or end the chat without rescheduling your appointment. I asked to be called directly just to speak to an actual human and crickets.

their location in sawgrass Mills mall is not far enough west. I think it should be in the middle of the everglades, about 75 mi west of miami, on krome avenue. honestly, who decided to put this service location as far as it is away from the airport? What freaking Einstein did that? in West Palm beach, it's in the airport. in broward? it's 75 miles West at the edge of the Everglades on the sawgrass. who did this? they should be fired. waste of time, waste of money, stupid hurdles to jump thru
TSA was fine. CLEAR was not, however. I got a $50 off discount code which I used to purchase my CLEAR+, TSA bundle. When I got there they said I would still have to pay the $79.95 for TSA which should get reimbursed for using the CLEAR bundle. However, since I got $50 off the bundle, I would only be reimbursed about $20 instead of the full $79.95, so I didn't get a discount at all despite that being part of the reason I was willing to sign up for CLEAR. I will not be using CLEAR again and will r

Endless cycle of retakes.
Clear has poor or no customer service. Paid for the product, and it worked for a bit. Showed up at the airport one time, and they now required me to get a PIN or something sent to my cell phone, but their SMS never arrived. Their employee shrugged and sent me away. Cancelled the service. I just tried calling to see if it was fixed. Robot told me there was a 1.5 hour wait. Waited on hold for 2.5 hours with no answer

Absolutely a waste of money. If your flight is delayed, it won't let you use it. For as much money as you pay, you'd think it'd always work...
Been using for a while and even uploaded my passport not too long ago. Went to create the free "Clear ID" but just end up in an endless cycle of failed selfies. Support is even worse, they don't even have a clue what feature they are supposed to be helping with...told me there is no such thing as Clear ID and I must be thinking of real ID, for my drivers license. lame...
I received an email stating I needed to update the Clear app. Since I have a trip in 3 days, I decided to do so. After updating, when I try to open it, I get an error that states there is a bug in the app. It closes as soon as it starts to open. Hope there is a better way at the airport!
new app (the one they promoted via email) just hangs on validation. i gave up.
This is the worst money I have ever spent. They promised me an expedited service through the security checkpoint and the last 3 trips that I've taken have been nothing but a nightmare, they did something to mess up my wifes birthday and we've had to go back to the check-in every time. And we never had this issue before signing up was clear.
Inconceivably bad app. No amount of taking a selfie will create a CLEAR ID. Select airports, flight date, and then flight number, app records wrong destination and wrong airline. Zero effective customer service (and CLEAR isn't cheap). Adding, not removing, problems to your travel experience. 1 star for both the app and the CLEAR service, itself.

they are very deceiving, Do Not Fall For It. I was approached by a person in the airport "let me help you check in" it's not until the end he tell me they are charging 299.99 for the services. dont fall for them. this is misleading you do not need this fraudulent service. the worst. Do not buy this service.
signed up in the airport and cancelled the same day after confirming that my company prefers TSA. "supposedly" deleted it and would not be charged. surprise still get the charge later. forced to call in and speak to an AI chatbot to cancel my account again.
this app never gets past the initial startup screen on android. Works fine on Apple phones. Probably needs a software fix
Bundled services are mind numbingly painful. I went with both the passport setup and tsa pre-enrollement with Staples. 3 trips to Staples to complete as there appears to be no real integration between Clear, HelloGov and Staples. My friend went to their local mailbox store and was done with everything in 15 minutes. Hoping I can come back and up my review because everything just races through the process now.

Awful service. Does nothing for national security except make it "pay to play". Also doesn't make it any quicker since the regular TSA line is just as short. Finally, they have all my passport information but when I show up with a passport card, CLEAR continues to make me go through RealID verification even though the passport card is a RealID document and you can't get one without having a passport already. All around useless, late stage capitalism cash grab.
I was able to use it on my Pixel 7 pro no problem, but it won't work on the Pixel 10 pro XL. Stuck on the screen after tapping "Get started" - keeps loading and won't let me even do anything else. Had to uninstall until your technical team can resolve it.
Cannot find my saved airline travel info anymore. Loved the app, because everything was in one place. Now it's basically useless.
App never loads and the AI chat on Clear's website says this is a known problem for Android users. I don't know, maybe fix it?
