This could cost thousands in inconvenience, CFD trading already has risks, last thing you want to worry about is a dodgy service, I can no longer recommend CMC, unfortunately they are now a high risk liability, including for long-term investments.
Worst trading platform, you will loose all your money as CMC manupulates every trade. Your data does not update, exuberant holding costs, 10% charges everytime you add money to your account. Spread in morning is outrageous 20-25points and they manipulate trades. As soon as you take a trade, they push the price against you as fast as they can so you can never get your money back. I am currently loosing $175,000. They do not reply to your emails. You are constantly on a watch. I give zero stars

US indices charts freezing after every 10 15 secs. No trade visibility on chart.
can't do most features from the web application. for example if you use MT4, cannot deposit money. when market is turbulent having mobile access to deposit funds is important.
w,t,f I set up 2fa because they don't have adequate account security and it doesn't work? no text message ever arrives. I have to call customer service to access my account. this seems like a fatal bug. yuck

This platform is garbage. I made a live account but in the app it won't let me switch from the demo account to the live account. GARBAGE
the trading platform on a desk top, fantastic, the mobile app has gotten worse at each upgrade. S24 phone..this app cannot handle multiple screen changes and then return to the app. eg; if im in the app jump to another app on my phone and return, within maybe 10/15 seconds and it freezes/hangs, won't load up a product on my watch list, or open the chart. This type error happens so many times, and i have to force stop the app then re-log in again. Clear cache/ reinstall same issue..poor CMC!
Disappointed
The App is okay but service is just deplorable. It's almost impossible to contact anyone. Have to add more to this. Since the update the biometric constantly falls over. Can't understand why such a big company can't make an app that is stable.
Every time I get on here is to write a review on some aspectof poor performance. I have a live acc and a demo acc, and when I log into the demo acc it always asks me to "complete my application". What application is there to complete when I DID NOT APPLY FOR A NEW ACCOUNT. It's bad enough that I have to unlock the app EVERY TIME I want to launch it, now there is an idiotic popup to add on as well. I've already emailed customer service and that was 2 weeks ago and nothing has been done about it.
15Aug 2025 down , 28 aug can't access app at this 2050 HR. Down again??? YA!!! No need to be sorry.
Weak in technical support and CMC mobile app has many bugs issues - recently,cannot even display calendar data release - this problem has persisted over 2 weeks and is still unresolved. Disappointing, to say the least.
Disaster app, same passwords to login and this app just keep telling me the password is wrong and no issues when do via web portal

Registered for new account, once approved, tried to log in using my username and password, says wrong details input! Never had such cases before with other brokers. I can do a forgot password but that doesn't tell whether someone already hacked to account. CMC asks to call a certain number, which does not even exist!! I'm totally not comfortable trading on this platform.
Why is the English version not available in Italy?! ridiculous!

The app crashes or becomes unresponsive during busy market hours. This has happened to me twice now, and even currently, the app is not responding, preventing me from taking action on my trade. As a result, I risk losing some of my profits. This issue needs urgent attentions
This broker did not return me over 70K of my life savings which I trusted investing with them. The marketing Mr. MELIKIAN called me and using psychological techniques such blocking the payouts , getting friendly with you, offers etc , won your trust to do what they wanted to do, and in the end got my lifesaving from me . Also they market prices are defined by them selves and can be at some times totally off values. This broker was trustworthy before brexit, but after brexit not trustworthy .

I use this app just to loose some money , you can't make anything there , it's designed to make them money and their big boss that uses unregulated markets to his advantage.
Useless app. Stalls, crashes, takes forever to respond. If this is the level of functionality of the app then I'm not trusting the platform. Was looking at getting into the market but it won't be with cmc.

THis app is so clunky and time consuming to use. Flip betwwen it and another app and you have to start all over again
I was very lucky I planned to fund my account with a very large amount but this platform stopped working and all day it was experiencing an unscheduled outage. Thanks
I'm sure CMC are not the only ones to do this, they boast low spread but at start of trading times this will jump from 1 point to 15 so if your following good practice and trading with a stop loss this can close your position. it's surprising how many times this happens so beware.

Basic forex trading app. My reason for 2 stars is because I tried to chat with customer service and says "09:41 AM: No CSR's are available at this time, please try again later." My experience with other companies customer service chat is I'm in a queue waiting for the next available agent. However, here I need to try again. I called the toll free number but the agent said he's in the UK and to call back later in 5-10mins. This is a strange and not a normal customer service experience!

The application is somewhat disappointing, it's not particularly user-friendly, its graphics and charts are rather less appealing. The cfd's margins aren't particularly noteworthy, some stocks only receive a 1:2 ratio. Ontario would benefit from more competition for CFD trading.

Cmc even on spteadbetting charges holding cost but it's a bet on the move so it's not taxed , if I go to betting shop days before I bet on something I don't pay holding cost on something while waiting , still the whole thing is made against average customers, holding cost also are increased suddenly out of thin air even if they say about their methodology, it's betting it should not have holding costs . What's the point of buying and holding anything here if cost eat up any earnings you can get
Wish they would fix the 2FA bug, the app keeps forcing me to enter a 2FA code every time it loads. That or they aren't following standard Auth practices.
