Two problems: 1. Closimg the app no longer means closing the app. After closing the app, when I reopen it opens up previous screen. I have used recent apps to close it by the 'close all' button, still reopens to the same screen. The only way around is 'force close' in app settings, irritating just for updated balance! 2. Screenshot restrictions. For some reason CBA thinks its customers incapable of deciding whether to screenshot a receipt! Only since a recent 'update', the app is NOT good.

No way to manage or request a new card. Clicking the 'Manage my card' button tells me 'This feature is not available yet, we are working on it'. Why would you remove the only working function on the app to add non-sense like 'Commbank yellow'. That is not a convincing argument for staying with commbank, I cannot bank.

Utterly disgusting behaviour, this company makes me sick to my core, and has caused enough stress to permanently damage my health

Unlike older versions that reliability provided an alert for all transactions made on an account - including notifying you when you turn the phone on of transactions made while the phone was off - it's now pot luck what transactions result in a notification, and there is no notification of transactions that occurred when the phone was off.

This app is terrible! How is this acceptable from Australia's biggest bank??!! I can't make payments via the app. After I choose the account to pay from, I get a blank screen. This is for a sports club (we inherited the bank account). My treasurer also can't pay a bill via the app, but he gets a different error. Completely useless.

it's getting ridiculous - every time they update the app it gets bigger and I have to delete other apps to install it. today it wants 856mb extra, the only app on my phone bigger than that is FB. the NetBank website won't let me log in without accepting login in the app but the app won't let me log in without updating it, yet there's not enough space on the phone. probably going to have to do more phone banking again - nice one CommBank!

not received my debit card even after 25 days of applying for the card. even tap and pay is not detecting the digital card. as I'm new to Australia, having a hard time without a debit card. Some shops dont even accept cash. Should have gone for another bank to open an account.

App was perfect 12 months ago but all the recent updates have completely ruined it. No more screenshots. Long login animations. Can't paste in passwords any more which forces you to choose between a weak password that can be remembered or absolute pain typing in a strong password for every purchase.

why restrict screenshots from being taken in-app? also, complaint handling has been awful. I’ve been met with Bureaucratic stonewalling, confusing responses, and repeated downplaying. it feels like I’m being worn down by Bad-faith handling and poor communication. (example: They say they lodged a formal complaint and will be contacted in 3 days, they classify it internally as feedback, Which means no regulatory obligations were triggered, and never called back)

Haven't really had any issues up until recently it's been fine, functioned as you would expect a banking app to. However recently tried to cancel a weekly automatic payment for rent. Literally spent multiple hours trying to find fix even the help chat bot and customer service couldn't help. Suggested logging into netbank website which took more hours and struggles to actually log in. After finally managing to log on, suggestion was not helpful. Finally managed to cancel it on my partners app..

Stop taking away ATM's, yeah your staff finish at 5, meanwhile there's line ups to access whatever ATM's you've left for us after that. And just think, they wanna close down branches too. So I went to transfer 300 from my sub account to my main account, and the button to transfer reappeared, so I pressed it again, and then i see it transferred a total of 600!!! that is REALLY BAD!! Imagine if I was paying someone and it did the transfer twice!!! worst thing I have ever seen this app do. I no longer feel confident with this app.

for the past couple months or so the app regularly breaks and refuses to let me sign in. it needs me to call CommBank to get them to unlock it, otherwise I have to wait a minimum of an hour to get back in. the few times I've done this I've been told that the app closes whenever there's a slight issue with data/wifi connections. don't ask me why they thought it was a good idea to close off access to your account for hours at a time because of some slight connection issues.

interacting with the Ceba assistant is the most painful digital interaction I have ever had. constantly repeating the same long winded comments and ignoring any information you put in. Just an extremely slow and verbose form masquerading as an ai assistant.
