Saved default chart does not load, just the apps area default chart. Infuriating. Does anyone even read these??
"biometric disabled" "biometric disabled" "biometric disabled" 3 times a week my fingerprint isn't accepted and it changes to "biometric disabled" and has to be manually re enabled in the settings. It means I have to use my password instead. Because this happens so often, I end up saving my password to my clipboard which seems a lot less secure than just having the finger print work as expected. Can you hurry up and fix this, it's been a bug for forever
The latest, totally unnecessary change to the buy/sell trading interface is a HUGE step backwards. Now you have two different presentation of the interface depending on if you go from Trading or from your holdings. They are now lacking vital details about your holding and the market status of what you are buying/selling and it totally ruining the utility of the app. The confusing nature and the need to jump between pages to see all relevant details actually made me make a mistake that cost me.
Watchout for the new invasive collection of everything on you phone with this app... if you dont agree they will cut you off from everything.
Watch lists freeze so unable to open individual stocks. Please fix.

this app is so unbelievably terrible compared to other investment apps. You'd think that Australia's largest bank with billions in assets and capital could do better but it really is atrocious.
Sell order ristricted to sell by units. Worst function. Why not have option to sell by amount in AUD as well. So much hassle when you want to sell certain dollar amount of stocks. Please fix.
The market Most actives, Advances prices are always out of date. If it does not show the latest pricing, traders/investors be aware (19/2/26 11:00 am). Last checked 3:50 pm 19/2/26 and the prices for the Market most Advanced were correct. It was so unreliable 🤕
It was all good until the latest update. The order page is now a pain in the a***, checking orders for different accounts is unclear. Why fix something that is not broken?
Latest update makes entering prices for limit order impossible in devices that are set to non-English language/locale. Particularly with locale where they use commas for decimal separator, the new price input page would preview the price in one price but override the price you entered to something else completely when you submit the order. Please fix this.
Doesn't display trade commissions properly and the new interface is far from user friendly, won't be trading until it's fixed.
The new interface is rubbish. I can't see how many buy / sell active trading anymore. Is this a cost saving initiative?
It's disgusting app developers don't believe end users need to know what is in an update. "Updates & bug improvements" doesn't cut it when they INSIST users agree to the changes without letting us know what they are. What are you hiding?
And yet again, some idiot at Commsec decided to fix what wasn't broken. The buy / sell screen now worse than before. Small font. Pop up boxes. Woeful.
rip off. commsec automatic exchange currency makes your funds draw down. any time you buy or sell international stock. even you make profit after sold the stocks you still lose. we should alert this matter to Australia customer affairs. I made 140 USD today, because they exchanged to ASD ,now I lost all my profits.
Awful interface. International integration is ridiculous, to be kind. Used to be a decent app year ago, then for some reason they decided to down-date it! Why? Use to get my cash account credited almost immediately after selling, now takes days (this alone is a "zero chance given" for me).
For a while now the widget has been broken for me on Android. Sometimes outright, sometimes can only be updated by launching the app & logging in (so not much of a widget). Currently even fails to update the watchlist title reliably when cycling through watchlists. No comment on the actual broker aspect of the app; their fees are insane so I've never used it.

OK, but I can see an ENORMOUS problem! If you enter the incorrect share price, there no check. In fact, the actual spot price isn't filled in or even displayed, so it's up to you to make sure the figures are correct. Imagine buying 1,000 shares at $250 instead of $2.50. There's absolutely no check or possible redress as far as I can make out. Truly horrific prospect that makes me extremely wary of using this app.
This app has absolute bare minimum yet charges a premium price. I honestly thought I had accidentally DL'd the Commsecc light. Support is minimal and the app is not easy to use for beginners and useless for anyone experienced. Also expensive to transfer shares out of to another broker. Commbank have made no effort to make this app competitive.
Garbage app, always issues logging in. May as well use NetBank as an existing CBA customer.
I tried to connect with ubank, but I cannot get a netcode. it was the best bank app before, now so many glitches. very disappointed

money disappeared, very hard to transfer money out if you don't have a Com bank account. Better apps out there, do not use.

The home menu is completely useless and need to go. Give us an option to remove it, and maybe an option to remap the bottom menu so it's not so hard to get to the orders and quotes menu. Not sure why the two most used pages got tucked away in favour of a useless home page. Still haven't fixed the trigger easy log out issue whenever you press back so switching between apps is a nightmare. Will developers listen ever or will they just ask for another email to a customer service agent?
Tried to use the app as a non-customer to access my credit history now CreditSavvy is no longer available. Unable to reset the password on my old NetBank account, creating a new account doesn't work. Deleted my CreditSavvy account instead.
Terrible service, not respect customer.
Doesn't handle increasing font size well at all. Things are cut off or not visible. Can't see a share's daily high or low after setting the font one size up on my Pixel 9 Pro. Buy and sell button covers the data.
Terrible. Just goes straight to the Web page designed to be viewed on a large monitor. Not a mobile experience at all.
It's a scam, deceiving tactics to cover hidden charges
Our opinion: rude, toxic culture & communications, jealous of investors, slow, incompetent, with many mistakes that literally cost us money. When you report problems for assistance, they do everything to make their mistakes your problem. We moved to a better platform & would never recommend CommSec.
Detest the new 'Home' tab - a completely worthless hindrance to using what was an otherwise totally satisfactory app. Sadly, 'Home' can't be switched off or avoided, so I'm going to have to change brokers. Whichever moron decided to not only keep this 'Home' tab, but also switch off the user's ability to select their preferred landing page should be sacked
If your app takes me to a web page to trade, it's not an app, it's a browser launcher. I can do that myself.

Newsfeed never loads or straight up doesn't work. App is slow and doesn't really work as an app as so many options revert out to the internet pages
