Gleichzeitig schickt die App Daten an acht Unternehmen die nicht Congstar heißen. Das ist vom "Datenschutz" in Ordnung.
Bad application. Have prepaid plan and want to order homespot with no luck, the mobile app rediect to web app which gives an error that payment information details are missing? I ordered from many other providers and the procedure goes to give you a form to enter your IBAN while ordering. DARLING this is a review, let your TESTERS do there JOB ! If the customer can't order additional service(s) without needing to contact your help service you can shutdown the business. KISS principle.
dont make the app only available in germany region. there are people like my brother who has to use creditcard from his home country and hence cannot download the app. either you put the functionalities back in the website or open the app for all region. you have nothing to regret by doing that!
Dauerhafte Unterbrechung zum Mobilfunknetz durch die congstar app Mit dieser App tut sich congstar keinen Gefallen. Die App wurde auf zwei verschiedenen Handys installiert. Beide mit Android Version 15. Nach dem Starten der App kann man wie angegeben seine Daten einsehen. Aber sie hat auf beiden Handys danach eine dauerhafte Unterbrechung zum Mobilfunknetz verursacht. Die einzige Lösung war die App zu de-installieren und einen System-Neustart durchzuführen.
Ich habe eine Email bekommen, dass meine Prepaid Karte gekündigt werden soll, weil die letzte Aufladung angeblich 15 Monate zurückliegt. Das ist aber gar nicht wahr, ich habe erst neulich am 17.Dezember 2025 aufgeladen. Will Congstar seine Kunden loswerden, oder was soll das?
Die Daten die ich angucken will werden nicht mal geladen da kommt nur "Hoppla"

ich haben ein Problem und schauen on der App nach der Telefonnummer und Öffnungszeiten der Hotline. laut App ist die Telefonnummer besetzt, ruft man an kommt nur eine Bandansage ich rufe außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten an. support geht anders...

The app is badly made, you need to call to be able to solve anything at all, nothing can be done online, this app really serves no purpose. Whoever made it should be fired.

I've been with Congstar for well over a decade, and I've always believed in the saying, "If it's not broken, don't fix it". What was wrong with the website? Nothing was wrong for the user. Now, another ridiculous app. Yet another app to deal with on on multiple platforms. More work, more data for less result. As a reply to your reply below: feels AI generated... what future are you refering to? I'm paying now.
absolut dumm jeden wichtigen service aus dem web in eine hakelige app zu zwingen. ein kleiner klick um Guthaben aufzuladen? nur noch in der App. Mehrere sim-karten sinnvoll verwalten? unmoeglich. Alle Eltern von Kindern ohne smartphones wind dankbar. genauso die Personen die Karten von älteren Leuten verwalten. danke congstar.
App-Zwang für Dinge die früher ohne Probleme über die Webseite funktioniert haben. Hinzufügen einer eSIM unnötig kompliziert über die App
Tarife werden langsam unverschämt teuer, der Umstieg auf App only ist totale Grütze, sucht euch nen anderen Anbieter
Dreck. Wie kann man so dreist sein 15€ für 4GB nehmen? Wucher nennt man sowas. Schämt euch! In anderen Ländern läuft die Technologie besser und es gibt unlimited für 5-10€ im Monat.

they keep blocking my Sim card, and anytime i am trying to retrieve it , they will send a new pin on the same phone phone that is blocked. It is senseless, cant you people send it via an Email?

it is a horrible horrible app. nothing is clear. you upload money you have to wait for minutes you can't do anything
Service chat doesn't load. App feedback is funneled through email instead of handling the issue internally. Have to switch to a desktop for support which will be discontinued next year.
They discontinued web version and App is in German only. Really inconvenient for English speakers/expact.
Very expensive, when we compare with another company
Wenn es läuft, dann läuft es, wenn man was ändern will, was ein bisschen von dem most Basic Standart abweicht ist Congstar eine Vollkatastrophen. Also wer in Definierten Prozessen den Kundensupport als festen Bestandteil hat, dem kann man auch nicht mehr helfen. Das ergibt aus Logistisch personeller Sicht einfach keinen Sinn. Fühlt sich so an an wäre das Gesamte Konzept für Dumme ausgelegt worden, die die Mängel nicht erkennen können.
mir wurde mein prepaid vertrag ohne grund gekuendigt. nicht zu empfehlen sind Faschisten hab meine meinung gesagt und deswegen wurde ich höchstwahrscheinlich gekuendigt. Faschismus at it's basic core wenn man wegen seiner meinung so behandelt wird.
Hört doch endlich bitte mit dem Abo System auf. Es ist viel zu langsam sich neuzubuchen. Support erst ab 8 Uhr aber mitten in der Nacht eine bezahlte und gebuchte option stornieren (wurde nach Kündigung noch nachgebucht, alles okay), geil jetzt habe ich bin ich in der EU unterwegs und einfach ohne Daten...
App works, but I do *not* appreciate being forced into putting yet another pointless and exploitable app containing my payment information on my phone when the website works perfectly fine. If I knew an alternate way to get prepaid data this cheap, I'd be long gone.

Worst app I've ever encountered. Constant issues with service, absolutely terrible customer service, and hours wasted attempting to resolve issues. I finally gave up after I was lied to repeatedly by multiple customer service reps, stating the issue would be resolved, only to eventually (after hours of back and forth over a week) be told that they would essentially be stealing the 20 euro on my account and be unable to resolve the issue and activate the number. Truly disgusting company.

The app might be ok, I am rating the company itself, which is happy to have me register, then never deliver any sim cards (or any post in general), and then charges for... I don't know what. Not good, folks. Edit/: to the response: yeah, if contacting the support wasn't intentionally difficult and wouldn't require me to go through 5 different authentication steps I would have complained there, but they are really good at keeping people out.
Furchtbarer Aufladen Prozess Wenn man kein Datenvolumen mehr hat, dauert es ca 30 min zum Aufladen, weil der Zahlungsprozess mit der gedrosselten Geschwindigkeit kaum mehr möglich ist. Congstar muss eigentlich während des gesamten Zahlungsprozesses genug Datenvolumen ermöglichen. Verstehe nicht, wie die so einen hundsmiserablen Aufladen Prozess machen konnten.
Nicht mehr möglich über pc Web Browser Konto verwalten. Die App ist nicht einfach zu nutzen.

After update of the App a new login is requirerd. Especially when the login Data during traveling are not with me, no chance to book additional service. that's why 2pt. Else the App is doing whats needed. Dear Service team, please update to keep login data or secure the App activation after version update with e.g phones fingerprint. thank you.
Endlich eine App mehr auf dem Gerät, für etwas, was das Webinterface genau so gut könnte - nur eben mit mehr Tracking für den Anbieter 🎉

Die App auf ein neues Telefon umziehen ist unmöglich, weil die SMS mit dem Code erst Stunden später ankommt. Wer denkt sich sowas aus? Schickt den Code doch wenigstens parallel zur hinterlegten E-Mail-Adresse.
