It's just a bad app...! It says I have three items in my cart. but when I go to the car it says there's no items in the cart. to make things worse, when you try to add things to the cart it says it can't add things to the cart. The only thing that this app is useful for just to show you a membership ID. can't buy anything...

Online orders take 10 plus days and ship from BC. This company is not operating in the 21st century in Canada. I would not recommend this over Amazon or even AliExpress. My AliExpress order shipped from China came faster than my Costco order. I wish I was joking but it really is this bad. Also expect your order to have a shipping label printed in the first 24 hours and not actually ship for 3 days. This is truly a primordial business. I'm not renewing membership.
Worthless. The only good thing about the Costco app is the membership code to scan to get in. Search function is a joke. It doesn't show a location/ aisle. Also, I wish I could Scan&Go like with my Sam's app.
App does not work. It keep saying 'Must be 18 years or older' (I am) and reinstalling doesn't do anything.
The app keeps asking me to verify my age although my membership is linked to me, born in the early 1980's. I can't get into the app anymore.
Despite being nearly 30 it locked me out of the app for it not being sure of my age with seemingly no way to get back in. Are minors even allowed to be Costco card holders? This is ridiculous. I'd rather they increase the price of the damn hotdog.

Using the system locale to determine a user’s location is a poor design choice. If the app has access to location services, it should use the device’s actual location; otherwise, it should fall back to the user’s warehouse location. Many users do not set their device locale based on where they currently live.

Love Costco but not this app. Ads, ads, and more ads. App's use is limited. Suitable for online shopping with delivery. App doesn't provide aisle location of products for shopping in warehouse. It would be a great app if it scanned and facilitated checkout. Why go to the selfscan checkout? Posting reviews of products often fails. Thinking about uninstalling app.
After the new update, the costco app does not let me login into the app and always keeps showing me the age restriction screen. I have tried reinstalling the app couple of times, it's stil the same. I wanted to give 0 but 1 is the least which se could give.

The app somehow flagged my account as under age, even though my Google account clearly shows that I am not. As a result, I can no longer access the app and have to use the web version instead. Very frustrating experience.
This is one of the worst apps I've ever used. It is almost bad enough to make me want to stop shopping at Costco. As an example, if you ask it to simply sort your searched items from low cost to high cost, this app is incapable of doing that! Instead of doing what you ask it to do, it sorts them in random order. also, after doing a search and selecting an item from the list, swiping left or right does not take you back to the list. there is no way to return to the list.
so unbearably buggy, if you do anything before the app is ready for you to touch it it simply doesn't work, can't search nothin.
I have been very happy about the Costco App, until all of a sudden it warns me I'm under 18 years old. The warning says I can fix this by uninstalling and restalling it. I did a few times and still can't use it. This sucks, Costco.

I used to love this app, and used it to order products frequently. Now suddenly it's "...no longer compatible with my phone"!?! ☹️ The "app support" email address is non-functioning. Guess I'll be using Amazon...
Too many notifications. Costco does not give you the option to turn off endless Cotco promotional notifications. If you try to turn them off, the app takes you to phone settings where you must block all notifications. Add the option to turn off marketing garbage so I can get some of the notifications that I might want (delivery updates, etc).

Costco is a great store, unfortunately the app is bad, product search is very slow, and basic funtions like add to cart and save to favorites do not ever seem work on my Android. I have a new phone so it's not the hardware.
Garbage App. I only use it because I need my digital membership to get into the warehouse. The App itself always crashes, is slow, and is buggy.
App not working properly, I get restricted for the age and I'm already over 50 years old, I try everything with Costco customer service they can't solve the problem and with Google play store ... I don't recommended
This new age verification on the app is broken and renders the app unusable. I shouldn't have to reinstall the app every day to use it.
The app is completely locked for me because it keeps claiming I "must be 18 or older." My Google account birthday is verified and completely accurate, so I have no idea where this app is pulling its age data from. It's completely broken and unusable right now. Please fix this.

so now the QR code expires and I am supposed to close and reopen the app to get a new one. This is just stupid that the app can't force refresh the QR code when it expires.

USELESS. products you just saw in the store don't show up on the app. if the page loads at all. if you can change the default warehouse location from the other side of the continent. still nothing.
loading the app and logging in are a nightmare. seems like the dev team can't decide between reskinning the mobile site or actually having a dedicated app structure, so we're stuck with the worst of both worlds

Do not use Same Day Instacart. I was missing an item and requested a refund through the app. More than 7 days later, I still haven't received a refund. I called, and Instacart refused to refund, saying they have no record of the request and won't do anything after 7 days. Scammers.
Would not verify my account despite sending codes through email. Had to visit the warehouse in order to "activate" my mobile app. The solution they gave me was an email address. Literally the same one I used to sign up in the first place. Utter scam in trying to obtain my facial data, which they ALREADY have on the back of my Costco membership card. The app itself is garbage, spaghetti code in/out.
useless. constantly freezes and resets your warehouse choice. can't check stock. can't order anything. pointless app.
This has got to be one of the worst store apps I've ever used!! Asking me to verify myself for so many things within the app?? This is my phone, my biometrics! What card to setup for auto-renew? How about the one in my wallet that I just added? Mind giving me that option? Limit on number of changes I cen make? That will never be an issue with new members will it? Idiots designed this!!
laggy and slow
App has a QR code with your membership number in place of your Costco card. The in-store point-of-scale scanners, at times, misread the QR and return an invalid card error. At this point, you are treated like a criminal until the verify you have a current card. Just stick to using your Costco card.
HATE the app, love Costco. The app is horrible, the website is slightly better. DO BETTER Costco

Did you let the Business Prevention Dept redesign this app? Geez try 2 suck less. couldnt even sign in because it couldnt 'verify age.'
Per your staff, the app must be force closed to generate a new QR code when you go to checkout. This is not noted anywhere on the app and it is not posted at the registers. The register indicates an invalid customer code instead of giving an accurate error description. Please test your app in the future before releasing the update.
The Costco app feels completely outdated and has zero value compared to the Sam's Club app. It desperately lacks a "Scan & Go" feature, finding products in the store is incredibly frustrating, and it’s almost impossible to figure out what’s actually on sale. It feels like the app hasn't been updated at all. I honestly wonder where that 4.7-star rating is coming from. Giving it 2 stars only in hopes that they will finally listen and update the app.
