Absolutely pathetic experience. I had an annual subscription, which was supposed to be renewed, for some reason they charged me to check my account, it went through and now i see that i was not charged the annual subscription, the customer support told me to pay by updating the payment method, when i did it, even that is not reflecting, but whole money was deducted from my bank account, they then asked me for a screenshot of payment, which i sent it anyway. They are still unable to help me
there's no option in application settings of App Permission for storage permission read write, due to which I'm not able to download the file on my device, there is no technical help team.

Its such a shame to see greed take them over. there is almost nothing left today thats still free and both the site and app have become difficult to navigate efficiently. all in all the direction they went is a huge disappointment
there are no option raise of tracker request on application , no proper support available
It used to be an awesome app for people trying to learn subjects but can't afford expensive courses. However recently they have stopped providing option for financial aid, this has really disappointed me. Don't you want poor people to learn anything at all.
The app keeps signing me out. Especially on unstable or no connection, how can I use it if I have only a sign on screen available when offline?
I subscribed during a promo ~ a mo. ago. I got a message about an issue with my first autopayment. I tried repeatedly to check the payment method on the app and was consistently taken to a blank white page. When I tried on a browser, my sub was cancelled when I tried to check the payment method! Cust service said only fix was to resub at a higher price. Waste of money spent so far and atrocious cust service!
The app is insufficient as the course we apply for has limited time period like a month or two, depending upon your field. And it also autopays again if the subscription ends without your consent. I was charged ₹2100 for a course I didn't complete because of a certain reason and I got to know they subscribed it again and I had to pay again for the same course WITHOUT MY CONSENT. So you need to be attentive here.
THEY KEEP CHARGING ME EVEN THOUGH I'VE CANCELED!! Every month, I get a charge for $39.99 even though I've canceled with them and paypal. Going to have to cancel my credit card. You've been warned.
What's going on with your app???? It says "get started with a free course", but when you pick one of the so-called "free courses", you're prompted to pay!!??

Even though the platform has good courses, it is horrible when they charge you for the premium subscription, and then, you cannot access other devices. I installed it on my phone and then on my tablet I am unable to access my premium subscription, and to do that I have to pay twice!! 😡😠💢. Thieves!!
Buyer Beware. Be extremely careful when signing up for a Coursera free trial. System has a glitch!!! The cancellation process may not work as expected. I had canceled my subscription, but I never received a cancellation confirmation email and was later charged. Make sure you receive a cancellation confirmation email and verify that your subscription status shows as canceled. Otherwise, you may continue to be charged without realizing it. its sync doesn't work correctly, videos that i have watched on my laptop don't appear as watched. only some assignments show. so i have to watch videos again or manual check my progress on web.
con - can't cancel free trial, cant contact the contact depart to tell them to end free trial to prevent getting charged. Absolute con.
platform and support are terrible. platform has unnecessary lockdowns and is repetitive. support is worth than there just not being one. between an incompetent chat bot and overseas support staff that could not care less about you. certificates have little weight because of the platforms insincerity and is mainly an ad platform for google.
i am having the worst experience of my life using this app. when i subscribe to a course, the subscription gets automaticaly cancelled , i will receive a message that my subscription has been refunded but i dont even get to recieve the refunded payment back into my account. i have tried to reach out to support several times but nothing has helped since they get to close the case without any meaningful help.
Very disappointing experience with Coursera. I requested a refund for a course that I barely used, but my request was denied with a generic response and no clear explanation of the alleged course usage. Customer support was unhelpful and lacked transparency. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the platform.
I just paid 2450 for my monthly enrollment payment get deducted but still app is promting me for payment. there is no place for customer grievance section

one of the bots in the reviews said there was free content on here. lies. you're better off learning for free on YouTube or Quizlet than here unless you're getting a full degree through Coursera.
Application login broken on GrapheneOS due to not using hardware attestation API correctly. I can't access college classes costing nearly $20k so far because Coursera doesn't like my phone.

I installed this app after seeing an ad but was unable to view any of the course material due to unexpected circumstances at work. I was charged after my 7-Day trial period and then I canceled within the refund window. I never accessed the course but after sending 10 emails back and forth with their AI assistant, I finally got a generic email from a human saying they would not give me a refund. Not sure how the course is but their company is a scam.
I remember the times when this started as available to everyone free knowledge share from universities. Had to pay if wanted certificate. Now, it's impossible to audit courses anymore, but even with purchasing Coursera plus many courses are not available without additional payment.

worst app there is the instructor keeps locking my assessments even though I've gone through all the videos and when you ask for assistance on the matter to be solved nothing is done or no clear solution is made now I'm behind on my classes because they refuse to fix this issue. nonsense

They charged me 2k for a subscription I never authorised, for a service I never touched. Their support process is built to exhaust you, not resolve. When I escalated, the official response came through a chatbot with scammy refund policy. A company collecting unauthorised payments and deflecting accountability onto banks is not a billing error, it's policy. I filed a formal bank chargeback to recover money they had no legitimate claim to. Support team is pathetic and platform takes no ownership.
don't sign up for any free trials. you'll be charged unexpectedly with no way to get a refund. I've chatted with support 4 times. they all say they can't give a refund and immediately leave the chat without warning. don't waste your time with this app.

no more free audit access to full course materials. you just totally alienated people that just enjoy learning because it makes them better people. actual education materials behind a paywall is not what humanity needs, especially right now. this was the podcast garbage infection inoculation for disinformation and misinformation. you just helped kill critical thinking and dimmed hope for those being left behind in this wild time we live in. no longer a great compliment to open courseware.

Do not use this company.It is a scam. they have been taking money out of my account for months. And they will not let you cancel your subscription. there is no customer service number. they've been taking money out of my account 45 months without my permission.
I despise that you can't just buy a course, and that you're forced into yet 'another' ongoing subscription.
Complete scam, $60, non refundable subscription, even if there is a glitch/bug on their end. I cancelled due to not being able to afford to continue paying, they charged me anyway, and if I charge back, they will revoke my earned certifications.
