worst app to use. can't use my login and pay and can't use guest id to pay. I will never use this app again
I will change this rating as soon as the app or website gives me a "light ice" option so I don't have to call every time. edit: there's no way to get ahold of anyone on the phone today to tell them I need light ice. this will be the last order I place until this issue is fixed and I'll let others know of my issues edit: over a year since my family has eaten here bc there's still no light ice option in the app
No thumbprint authentication and no way to look back and see what you're entering for a password? and when you try to leave feedback on the app about the app it doesn't allow you to. I would imagine this app was created by the same stooge who tried to get rid of Uncle Herschel. so far this is my least favorite app on Google Play
unacceptable updates
This app is terrible. Slow. Crashes. Incredibly frustrating. Just use the website and skip this Hot Garbage Even their Google Ai app review knows: The Cracker Barrel app is notorious for being clunky, with many users on Reddit citing issues like forced logins that erase your cart, missing saved payment methods, and a slow checkout process. "Just delete it and reinstall"? No. I'll just order from somewhere else. Thanks for nothing. Fix this Mess of an App

absolutely terrible. worse than trying to get into the bestbuy app. Trying to click on the local store to place an order and it just keeps looping.
doesn't work on Samsung apps device
Can't get it to add the military discount. Can not get the feedback chat to open. Can not get the tech support feedback button to open either. This app needs major fixes.
have to login every time. always a problem when trying to submit order. it constantly says I have to update the app even though I have deleted and reinstalled.
App doesn't have required billing address field to order with cc and major cc companies require it for verification.. Google and Apple pay not feasible because they require screen lock, which permanently locks a phone when technology malfunctions. And believe me it will. Nice double standards and policy. Think I wanna spend all my time cleaning up your messes?

Not good. I've had to many bad experiences with this app. Asked to update the app after entering payment info. But then couldn't update because it was current. went back tried again, had to re-enter info only to tell me the app needed updating! I'm done with this.
very little point in using the app when dining in as the ability to pay at the table using the app has been removed. My wife and I have dined at Cracker Barrel less as the food quality has gone down and prices continue to increase.
I tried to order a meal for 2 and the loading times for each page were ridiculously long. I got one meal done in about 30 minutes then when I went to add the next meal the app simply wouldn't work. I have good internet access so I know it has nothing to do with that. I had to uninstall after giving up.
Update, 2026. Still consistently buggy. Please ask Chick-fil-A for help. This app used to be great. I place an order, and it take me back to a different screen over and over. The "forget password?" link is an error message. I have not been able to use the app for about 2 months, so no curbside delivery is possible. This update essentially made the app unusable, and there seems no hurry to fix it. If they revert back to the previous version, it would be much improved.

only A.I...emailed/ called head quarters. I deleted app+ will never order or go back to gurnee. I live over a hr away. a treat to drive there + enjoy. retail clerk + leading mgr. didn't know how to do a online refund. made us wait + wait. 79 yr old handi cap/ diabetic mother. original box/ pk slip. I asked a server for a biscuit. not them . wish Magda was there that I spoke on phone . robyn server the best .
When did they stop offering omelet style eggs? I hadn't been to a Cracker Barrel in several years as they are no longer near my home. Passed one the other day and decided to stop. I was told they no longer offer eggs omelet style. I left and won't be back.

Awful app, website not much better. Try to log in for rewards it sends you to the website. what's the point of an app if it sends you to the site? The app constantly spins while paying. Last time, it kept spinning, so I had to start the order process over. 2nd time, same thing. 3rd time it failed, I called the store (it no longer goes to the local store but to a call center) placed my order. I received 2 orders because my 1st site payment had gone thru! Lucky I wasn't double charged.
tried to order a free shareable with this app today and it stated I needed to update the app first upon checkout. no updates were available. navigation also leaves alot to be desired.

Incredibly frustrating app. Multiple errors adding items, multiple checkout errors. I started to order on the website, but received a text saying that they received my order (even when I only received errors). and then there were 3 of one item. And zero of another. what a mess!!
can't get my peg points from most recent receipt. I've scanned the barcode and tried inputting it manually but it keeps saying something went wrong and to try again. I don't think you guys fixed what you think you fixed in the app.
I like the app but it could use improvements. One I recommend is the ability to utilize military discount with the app. Many veterans cannot be in crowded public places so placing orders online for pickup is crucial, however doing this they do not recieve the military discount they are due.

The app has a bug in it for months now. The app shuts down when in cart.
