Everytime I try using the app for offline downloads it either loses the downloaded files, constantly errors out or crashes during playback or cannot access offline files at all.
During ads app gets stuck on blank screen, must exit app to clear. Ads volume two or three times louder than program.
Worst streaming service possible. I've tried multiple devices, ranging from smart sticks, smart TVs, PCs, and phones. Tried multiple networks from Bell, Telus and Rogers over the past few years. I've tried mobile data even! Every single time, all crave does is buffer EVERY few minutes making any and every video unwatchable. Only upside? Crave was free. Don't pay for this.

Paying for this was one of my deepest regrets. Tried on multiple older and newer devices. The content itself is meh at best.
garbage app that you literally cannot unsubscribe from. they make you have to call them.
the ads are unbearable. Start watching a show, Ads, finish the intro. more ads. frankly this is abhorrent. I would not recommend this platform to anyone since the ads are worse than YouTubes.
I had the ctv app for years and recently was informed I had to pay for crave, which I won't it's not worth it, to keep my app. I am so frustrated with greedy bell media
All my settings are set to English. Why am I watching a trailer for an English show in French???
slow, and add galore. sometimes you have to rewatch the adds because it lags/glitches

App is stuck in an ad loop
Ads volume is insanely higher than everything that plays.
this app sucks most days, if its not buffering theres a commercial every other minute.... I get i dont pay for add free.... but going to a continued show, I had to watch 3 30second adds.... then the show played for less then a minute and then 3 more 30 second adds again.... then I wanted the next episode, so when I clicked next I got hit with 3 more 30 second adds.... its just getting out of control....
Horrible. pure garbage. error, stop working, and one new weird error: plays the audio, but screen is black, and once this error happens all other apps like youtube fail the same way and I have to restart the TV!!!
have to uninstall and reinstall the app weekly just to get past a black screen once I hit play. been like this for almost a year.
Won't let me watch when I sign in through Telus. Bell media and this app is horrible!
don't get .unless you want to watch an ad which was supposed to be a set of three about 15 times
literally the worst app on all platforms. constantly crashes, logs me out mid episode, freezes, lags and sound is off. left for over a year and hoped it would have been updated and fixed but of course not. keep charging $30 but never fix your apps... good thing I don't pay for the subscription cause I'd cancel it immediately. don't waste your time. take yourself to the seas and save the hassle!
Another typical, greedy streaming service. "Ad-Free" subscription - STILL forces ads, on a lot of their content. So, you pay more for no ads, yet.....get 90 secs of ads, every 10-15 mins of TV shows. They provide a "Help" email address at on their emails to you - that doesnt actually exist, forcing you to instead call or use their chat bot. Dont expect a higher level of service here VS other streaming services.
the CTV content is just not working. only the old outdated reruns tracker is not, live with with kelly and mark not, just old stuff..I used the CTV app for years now its all pay pay pay I thought it was supposed to STILL be FREE. I set up 2 différent accounts going by the steps in the app. Neither works at all. been trying for days. not working wit SP either most of it
they need to add show titles to watch this week's TV shows.. just the episode title is stupid

This is easily the worst streaming app I've ever used, there are literally free streaming apps that show less commercials and actually work unlike this steaming pile of garbage. Shows and movies don't load, but commercials work just fine of course.
there is absolutely no way to unsubcribe unless you find the telephone number to call them and have a person on the other end do it for you. Who has time to search through a maze to look for unsubscription? It's illegal to create such issue. stop this! the account section you responded about does not exist on the app, btw. Nowhere to be found. Other reviewers also have the same issue.

major buffering issues while trying to watch a show stopping almost every 30 seconds in the first 5 min after pushing play i spent 2:39.73 on commercials and buffering....yes i timed it.
The ads are unbearable the way its set up. Towards the end of an episode you get an ad break, followed by the last thirty seconds of the show, crave cuts off the end of the show and gives you another ad break. Next the episode ends and before you start the next one you get another ad break.
keep getting the spinning wheel of death going to cancel
Great shows trapped inside an app that seems determined to test my patience. Laggy, unreliable, and awkward to navigate. I came for entertainment, not an obstacle course.
WARNING: horrible app !! Cannot get through one episode of any show without it either freezing or just stopping. Would give zero stars if I could. Don't get suckered.
Every few days, the app just won't let me watch anything; won't cast or anything, just goes to a blank screen. Sometimes if I restart my device, it'll work. Other times, I have to reinstall the app.
soooo many repetitive ads good lord unbearable is it possible to give less than one star? and like you pay extra on Prime to get this and you still get commercials that's totally absurd

absolutely ridiculous Ad logic. resume show you're watching: ad. realize it backtracked 2 episodes for no reason. jump to the correct episode: ad. resumes 5 seconds before an ad break. Ad. you can sometimes literally be watching 2 minutes of the same 2-3 ads because the playback feature is so scuffed. totally ludicrous. I will not buy anything advertising with Bell until they fix this nonsense.
adds always load and play. shows won't load regularly. and when you back out and reopen. go figure adds play again. if you are lucky enough to get a show to load. it more often than not glitches out. so nice to pay for static picture. worse streaming app ever.
Don't waste your money on Crave. First the movie I wanted to watch was only in French, no English. Then the ads happen too often and they glitch the stream causing a loop of nothing but ads. You get more ads than the show playing! The app is just too frustrating to use, I'll never subscribe ever again.
On android tv it freezes during commercials consistently from about the third or fourth set of commercials. Why can't Canadian streamers build spps that perform well consistently?

every single crave application, whether on your tv or phone is just the worsssssst. not user friendly at all, slow and glitches out all the time. when it works it's good. but that's once every 2 days...

Whether it's through the Smart TV, Xbox or Firestick the only consistency Crave has is that it rarely works. I'm sure the content would be good if the app played. Thumbs down.
