I used this app several times for several conferences and now, I can't even get to my profile page to update my email addresses. Every time I hit the back button to get to home screen, it closes the app. I'm stuck on my events page and can't do anything else. sounds like I'm not alone in it not working well anymore.

Would rate for 0 star. Need to login with verification code and no alternative way. The verification only comes out after 20 mins and expired straight away. Contacted admin and been told my account may have been suspended - no indication of that. Tried multiple platform, same issue, Waste time.

I despise when apps ask me to review after using it less than 5 minutes. I don't know how to app is, I've only clicked onto my event code, built a profile, and pressed a few buttons! If it was great I would go out of my way to give 5 stars. If you immediately beg for a review, I auto give 1 star. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

App will log you out mid event. Predatory privacy policy. Only install if you have no other choice.
Prevents screenshots. In addition to that no copying of text. With no "screenshots" you can't even use the Android built in hold home key to bring up the overlay to highlight and copy text /search.

I need to attend an event but I'm getting "Your device isn't compatible with this app". How does Cvent work around this?
live events don't come up right away and the app has been hard to use.
I was obliged to use this dreadful app. for a two day student research conference at my University. Event data is not cached on the device, but rather must be downloaded each time the app is opened and apparently sometimes even when the app. stays open. this makes performance poor and places excessive burden on network infrastructure. data is presented in confusing and misleading ways (which caused me to miss a crucial talk). the page flow design is clunky and inelegant. AVOID
The playback function is very cumbersome to use. It keeps crashing and flipping me back to the main menu of videos every time I try to fast forward by using the video place marker on the bottom. Fast forwarding through 45 minutes using the skip ten seconds button is very cumbersome. The screen also will not rotate so you can get a full screen video.
Broken links to live events or significant audio static interference, making audio impossible to hear.
Clunky, buggy app! Drains your phone rapidly. No password. All attendees use same code to sign in. Despite many setup attempts, it never worked!!! Customer unsupport (Vaibhav and his manager Jyodi) were wholly disinterested in helping with the log-in glitches. Responses included: "No one would be able to help you," "A supervisor can't help you," "I wouldn't know how to help," and best of all "Who gave you our [Cvent] number?" There are way better apps out there for conference attendees!
The app does not find the event that was emailed to me nor does it find the event by event code.

Incompatible with my android device. my Google pixel has Android 11. seems like Cvent has dropped Android 11 support since last year. now this app is useless for me. I have to dig through conference presentations using hard copy of the schedule.

Logging in to an event is a painful process. The only way to log in is getting a code sent to your email (username/password is not even presented as an option) and the email takes ages to arrive, if it even does at all. The first time it took about 8 minutes to receive the email. This time around I've been waiting for at least 10 and it still hasn't come. Also how is it that it used 2.3% battery in 5 minutes of screen time? Streaming video doesn't even do that
The app refuses to run on my rooted device. There's no valid reason for any app, much less a scheduling app, to prevent me from managing my hardware as I see fit.

The app automatically logs you off every so often and then requires 2FA, pretty annoying. The search session functionality doesn't filter by speaker correctly.. also frustrating

Profile picture layout is not consistent. Profile and attendees my profile pic is vertical and correct. In the speaker module my pic is sideways. I have used multiple apps to remove metadata as well as tried using a screenshot from a PC. Some users see my poc orientation correctly and others dont. It's very bizarre.
Chews through phone battery like no other app I've used and makes my phone toasty. I have no idea why it uses so much battery when using it to look at my event schedule most the time. Everything else on the app works pretty well though.
some great speakers, key note speaker was awful. whole area way beyond freezing, no lunch options, super expensive parking. Government agencies can't afford expensive venues. move to outside of Disney area. Attendance was very low this year with quality of event on decline. Need new members organizing to bring in fresh ideas. Not very good this year.
