Anything that is free here is really not worth using. To get a digital copy of a book you already own you have to purchase it again. For some unknown reason I am no longer able to access my account. You could spend hundreds of dollars here then without notice or reason your account can be deleted.

For free members they locked out a lot of content behind packs like it Pokemon or magic cards. Please find other ways to get your content. The way they handle creating characters and such is highway robbery. I almost had a nervous breakdown because of it.

constant head aches on both the app and broswer versions, and now chris cox and hasbro are being greedy scumbags trying to rob players blind and destroying dnd at a fundamental level. better off sticking to pen and paper these days.
The app isn't functional, if I open the app I have the option to sign in with wizards, email, or twitch but I can't click on any of them. if I do nothing happens. I've tried several fixes and installing multiple times but still nothing

they are not worth the subscription don't fall for it now they took away sharing content with your friends already over priced dont make anything better they just raise the price ans say they are improving it by locking more things behind a over priced pay wall if you were buying physical stuff I would understand but to lock the new classes behind a 50 dollar ebook and then take away sharing with your friends and not doing a single thing to improve the app is wild

The amount of money you'd have to pour into this app before it becomes useful is INSANE! You'd have to buy a boat load of PDFs of the rule books, and even with that, loads of 2014 rules are missing, from what I can gather. I'd MUCH rather stick with hardcover books, and my own custom spreadsheet with set formulas for calculations and rules for cells. I was hoping D&D Beyond would be easier to use than my own spreadsheet... but apparently not, and my spreadsheet is FREE to use.
The greed of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro makes me sick.
Ridiculous level of monetization
it's slow and very unresponsive on a fire tab.
the greed is insane. you would think people creating an app to support this type of hobby would be less insane about copyright. I own nearly every official source book. physical copies. yet, I have to pay an additional thirty dollars to access content I've already paid for each time. something as simple as adding the holy symbol of ravenkind to my characters inventory is not allowed unless I buy the entire book digitally when I'm looking at the thing on my coffee table. do better.

I would love to tell you about my experience. IF I COULD GET INTO IT. I can't access it, I tap the sign in with Google, nothing happens, I tap the twitch sign in, nothing happens, I tap the wizards of the coast sign in, nothing happens except one time last week, I don't even own a wizards of the coast account, I would love to send videos of me repeatedly tapping any of the sign in buttons but there is no point. the screen is functionally unresponsive. the only reason it's not 1 star is because..
I have a pixel 10 pro xl and upgraded to Android 17 and the app crashes non-stop when I try to roll the dice.
lots of stupid bugs, signing in and connecting to a campaign is hit and miss
App is good. Even though searching is sometimes a little difficult. But absolutely awful customer support. Couldn't log in for 5 months, their response was "we can't do anything, just wait, check the release notes, we are closing the ticket". It works now, I was trying it from time to time. But nothing relevant in the release notes anyway.
I'd vote 1 star but I do use it. I'm just not happy about it. Hasbro sucks!
rarely works as advertised
Infuriating. Periodically just refuses to open some of my characters that will open on browsers fine. Wizard spell managment has unnecessarily confusing language, with learn being used as the description for both preparing spells and adding spells to your list. I dislike everything about it. Content sharing is only redeming
Feels like a beta. Which is shocking considering they expect you to pay a subscription for even basic features. Menus don't scale properly, often a button you need to confirm or submit is not on the screen and you can't scroll to it. Character creation is super awkward and frustrating. Core features from the basic book are missing. If you miss a field (like the skills from the skilled feat) it just fills in random ones and you can't fix it. back button doesn't work properly. I could go on.
every time I have to use this it is worse and worse now I cannot complete creating a character.
