I don't know how DB still exists, the app is great but what's the point if we people cannot get their main service - transportation?

So it is all a disaster,nothing runs ok,but at least they want that 63€ per month and they give what?! Buses or trains without AC,delayed trips without notification. So it is annoying everything

man kann sich mit firefox nicht mehr anmelden. ganz toll wenn man sein ticket braucht. "Bitte füllen Sie Passierschein A38 aus". So sieht Kundenservice aus.

Deutsche Bahn is still a joke. I gave you a chance again after many years, and both my ride to Frankfurt and back failed. To failed because of the communication issue and you didn't even give me a voucher, so I had to pay for a taxi. Back failed because of some other technical issue, so I had to take another one, and had no place to sit because of it. Having a seat is essential for me. Back to driving from now on.
Yet another day of waiting for the train for more than 30 minutes with no updates. Update 25. June 2026. What a marvelous company this is, the train can be late for 1+h, but it is impossible to ask another train to wait for 2 minutes. Instead of traveling for 1h, had to travel 3h -any updates on the app? no. better use google maps.
Can't buy bike tickets through the app
noch nie so eine schlecht programmierte app gesehen. ständig kommen bugs, tickets verschwinden und die suche funktioniert oftmals auch nicht

Ich bin überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Es gibt keinen guten Plan, und man erreicht seine Termine nicht. Die Verwaltung achtet überhaupt nicht auf Zeit und Pünktlichkeit.
Favoriten hinzufügen ging nicht, ohne auf die Anmeldemaske der Website geleitet zu werden. Dort angekommen dann angemeldet. Nach der Anmeldung auf der 404 Fehler Seite gelandet. Zurück zur App, Favorit war nicht hinzugefügt. Abgemeldet und beim anmelden das selbe Spiel. Wieder auf der Fehler Seite gelandet. Zurück auf der App war die Anmeldung nicht durchgeführt. App also deinstalliert und neu versucht, wieder das selbe Problem. Die App ist für mich so also aktuell absolut nicht nutzbar.
before the last update every search was interrupted because it says im not online or connected to the internet and now it just says "unknown error". i have S25ultra and it's been months since it last worked correctly.

Cannot buy a Deutschland ticket ...
Frustrating, confusing, and difficult to traverse. Very unfriendly to tourists and provides very little information on the many confusing types of tickets or subscriptions and the differences between them. Almost made me pay 250€ for a single trip and I still do not understand why. Maybe I'm just tired from my long trip, but this app definitely made me even more tired.
die App loggt mich regelmäßig ungewollt aus. Das D-Ticket verschwindet immer wieder und wird aus irgendeinem Grund immer erst nach mindestens 1* refresh angezeigt.
can't buy the Deutschland ticket on the app. upon entering ride information, it only populated European countries. frustrating
App is responsible for more than 50% of my battery usage, without ever opening it. This is 5 times more than my browser consumes after being open for more than 2 hours in total. I'd uninstall it, but it has my Deutschlandticket on it. Edit: I filled out the support form at your link, including a ~650 character description with details. Won't let me submit, because "Bitte prüfen Sie Ihre Mitteilung". How can I actually reach support?
absolutely garbage app
Die deutsche bahn is online und offline für nichts zu gebrauchen. jedesmal brauche ich ewig bis ich ein ticket über die app kaufen kann weil es mega kompliziert und benutzerunfreundlich ist und nie was gleich beim ersten mal klappt. Man verschwendet soooo viel Zeit im vergleich zu anderen ähnlichen apps. Ich mag wirklich NICHTS an der deutschen bahn.

Annoying and unclear. On some routes you carefully enter passenger details, class of travel, discount cards then when you go to offers it says "I'm going to completely ignore everything you entered". There seems to be no way to upgrade a ticket despite the ticket collector saying .. obviously you just need to upgrade your ticket in the app. Clunky, unintuitive and unpleasant UX.
Die App zeigt zu gebuchten Verbindungen leider inkorrekte Informationen. Laut App fällt der Zug aus, laut Homepage fährt er regulär, laut Bahnsteig fährt er auch. Zusätzlich habe ich dieses Jahr noch keine einzige Verbindung ohne Verspätung oder Ausfälle gehabt. Für den Preis eine völlig unzureichende Leistung
Versuch liebe nicht Deutschlandticket online zu kaufen es ist fast unmöglich. Meine konto wurde deswegen gesperrt und jetzt muss ich 2 tage warten bis ich einen termin bei meinem bank bekomme um es zu entsperren. Ich verstehe nicht warum ich für das deutschlandticker nicht mit paypal zahlen darf. Es wäre viel schnäller praktischer und einfacher für alle die es einfach kaufen wollen.

It is not only barely working, it is also, due to the recent (like a year ago) update, DOES NOT UPDATE YOUR TIME AUTOMATICALLY. Because of that you always gotta update the time. It is infuriating, you are always seeing the trips of some wrong time period. Why did you do that? Out of all things!
probably great for single people. I booked for my family of six and it would not let us select our seats and scattered our family all over the train even though there were open seats together. So if you like having to choose which child has to sit alone by the random creepy stranger then this is the app for your family. Customer service responds "generally you can select your seats" but we reserved 5 trains over 3 weeks and never had that option. so that claim is innacurate.
Generally okay. But if I am booking a seat reservation for a journey, and there are no seats available for one key leg of the journey, do not wait until I have gone through most of the checkout process and selected seats on the other trains to tell me that. Trains with unavailable seats must be marked as such earlier, to avoid frustration and inefficiency.
App is quite ok but delays are updating very slowly, I can't add my Deutschland Ticket and DB as a service provider is a joke.
