Absolutely useless app. It struggles to initially connect to my machine, saying it's "asleep", even though the unit is clearly on. The app then gets stuck trying to connect to the machine. Very occasionally it will actually connect! But then will immediately lose connection if you try to do anything else. I have only used the app once when I first got the machine to set up the details of my regular coffee beans (using the Bean Adapt function), but have since given up trying to use it. Do better!

It's a shame to show something like this. The app is useless and pointless. While the coffee machine makes coffee, the app does nothing.
Such a buggy app, constantly have to relog, can't find the machine half of the time...
The app is not working. I can connect to coffee machine but syncing is not working. App is showing wrong status of a device, old profiles, settings are not synced at all.
Habe über 3 Stunden versucht, die Maschine mit der App zu verbinden - Fehlanzeige. Maschine & Telefon mehrfach neu gestartet, App cache gelöscht, router neu gestartet - nichts. Irgendwann wird sie zwar in der App angezeigt, es ist jedoch keinerlei Interaktion möglich. Frustration pur!
The app does not even open anymore. Update: The app not opening issue has been fixed. However, every single week something else does not work. The bean adapt is the worst functionality. It pretends it saves your beans and selects them, but it does not do anything at all.

totally useless, it never connects, it does not validate user credentials, it losses configurations, is a total waste of bandwidth, time and storage

The app isn’t working. This is quite disappointing, especially considering the price of the De’Longhi coffee machine. When you spend a significant amount of money on a product, you expect everything - including the app - to work properly.

on reinstall the app doesn't work. as soon as I open it I get this message "Caution VIEW_X101_AUTOUPDATE_ERRORE_MESSAGE" tried it on a Pixel 9 Pro XL and also an Amazon Fire Tablet. Both on 2.4ghz WiFi connection. edit...I had to go all the way back to version 4.6.0 to get a working version where not only could I get into the app but I could also add beans to the bean adapt feature again. come on delonghi, stop introducing bugs to your app.

I have a Rivelia, although it cannot connect because no wifi or Bluetooth, they say you can add one without, it recognizes the serial but no support, would be nice to have some support for bean adapt and some tips for Rivelia users.
only BT, no wifi. so you can't turn the machine on from the other end of the house, and when I'm near it, I can just press the on button anyway... The app doesn't really make much sense, as you need to be in front of the machine to put a cup down, so you may as well push the coffee button instead of the app
no matter how long and safe your delonghi password, this piece of junk stupid app will only work with passwords of 20 char length maximum
Horrible app. Ofter getting disconnected from machine, and the only way to connect it again is to re-add the machine.
You're apk it's a shame! Almost 1000 euros for the machine and a poor useless apk - who needs wifi, nearby device, Bluetooth,location, email and password and still doesn't works! It's about tracing or what?

I cannon modify already created drinks
Where do I start? Firstly, it takes ages to load. by the time it loads and identifies the machine I am already downstairs half way through making my coffee. Now coming the important bit, can you make coffee remotely, well yes and no. The machine (at least eletta explorer which cost £1000) needs to clean itself every time it turns on from sleep which makes it impossible to simply place a cup and remotely make coffee. The only scenario when it's possible is if the machine is already on.
The more expensive machine, the worst experience in the app that simply does not work at all. Connecting a machine turned into a nightmare. I gave up.
I cannot connect to wifi
Я створила свій акаунт на минулій кавомашині, тепер купила нову. Пароль не пам'ятаю і при спробах його відновити мене посилає на російський сайт. При підключенні через Bluetooth рецепт кави створити не дає. На міжнародному сайті України немає, але росія є. Тошно. Тепер хоч кавомашину за 1500 євро в мусорне відро викидуй. Дякую Delonghi.
Doesn't work - Constant Error Message
Great machine, horrible app. Has actually gotten worse in the 2 years I've had the Dinamica Plus. Does not even show all the coffee items listed on the machine. Definitely not worth spending the money on the connected version of the machine since it is never connected.
Slow app, can't recover default settings, loses/forgets personalized drinks, doesn't save all changes; the machine is SUPERB but the app sucks. For the price we pay for the machines you'd think they would create a decent app.

I don't understand why such a great machine would have such a terrible app, it is like they didn't even try or paid the least amount possible for development of this app. Anyone involved in the machine should be proud of the machine. Anyone involved in the app development should, especially the leaders, should be ashamed of themselves.
can't seem to stay connected
Oct 2025, had the app for 4 years. Still no improvements made, none. The app is really really slow. Needs a big improvement. I dont know how people give it 1 star let alone 5.

Can't connect to my machine. It keeps trying to connect to it calling it a different machine name. I have uninstalled numerous times. My husbands iPhone connects to it but my Samsung won't. Frustrating when I want to adjust my coffee levels to suit new beans.
