UPD: no longer can "teach" it the correct translations or give feedback, and the correct versions have strangely disappeared from the dropdown under "alternatives." After every update it just logs you out. But it keeps failing the login "due to technical error [long alphanumeric code that briefly flashes on the screen]" And keeps getting crappier and crappier with the quality of its translations. And now it won't let you use it unless you have the latest version! STOP RUINING THE APP ALREADY!!!

Your support logic is broken. How am I supposed to contact you if I can't log in, and your contact form is hidden behind a login wall? It’s a frustrating and useless loop. Fix your support access for locked-out users.

Not working
Nach einem extrem positiven ersten Eindruck leider inzwischen unbenutzbar. Erst musste die App alle paar Tage geupdatet werden (extrem nervig), aber jetzt haut Deepl leider eine erkannte Sprache rein, selbst wenn man die zu übersetztende Sprache einstellt. Wollte nachschlagen was "dreist" auf englisch heist: Deepl erkennt bretonisch. Ich stelle auf Deutsch um. Deepl "erkennt" erneut bretonisch bevor ich die richtige Übersetzung lesen kann. Warum? Wieder eine überflüssige Automatisierung. Schade!
Where is the beloved dictionary app linguee!? Why get rid of it for this nonsense? linguee was unique and incredibly useful especially with the external source examples being available to refer to. On the other hand this app is very one dimensional and backwards. Disappointing to say the least.
More often than not it doesn't work. constantly "translates" from source language to... source language... ie does nothing. completely useless..

mi queja es que la aplicación en mi laptop no tiene la opción de altavoz cuando traduzco una palabra en inglés solo está el altavoz en español y cuando escribo en español para inglés pasa lo mismo, no tiene la opción del altavoz en idioma inglés y en mi celular, cuando quiero escuchar la traducción, tarda una eternidad en que la app responda con la voz
The Chinese translations are absolutely terrible. The output is often inaccurate and distorts the original meaning, and in some cases even comes across as biased and sexist. It feels as if the system is trying to “sanitize” English into something overly filtered or artificially acceptable in Chinese, rather than translating it faithfully. The results are consistently poor, the absolute worst.
Forces me to create an account. It's such a shame, DeepL used to be good :(

Poor translation from En. to Slovenian language. In 2 minutes it translated words like some uneducated person. Than transl. the same word in the opposite direction, it gave other meaning. It should be called: "Deep Debilism Translation". Very disturbing and not reliable. Like other models here, it could lead me into many troubles. Deleting again!

likely a good basic translate app but does not work for live translate if having a conversation. and does not have Taiwan language which differs from Chinese
