they are thieves even tho i canceled my subscription they still charged me and then refused to give me my money back. and i didnt wait to email them i emailed them immediately after i was charged. they had no reason to deny my refund and they had no right to take my money to begin with when i canceled my subscription. they stole my money.

I spent 20 minutes trying to subscribe and give you money... its made incredibly difficult because deezer insists I pay using an email address that has no connection to my deezer account (presumably the app only checks for a Google store account, not the account on YOUR OWN APP). This happened a couple of years ago too. No I won't go through your support, you lost money, I'm done.
Back to the bottom of the barrel! besides the 5000 vendors seeking "legitimate" consent to monetize your account further, a flurry of irritating useless notifications was added. Hey look it's a summary of a summary, hey look it's been a month etc. Even with absolutely all notifications disabled. Not interested in any support robots response and useless suggestions. Stay golden Deezer💜

I really wanted to like Deezer, but in its current form it's useless.
Just got a notification that my Date of birth, email, gender, geographic location, name was leaked with this app. What a joke
would have had to pay to listen to more then 30 seconds of a song, how dumb, if this had 0 stars, I would do it, got it to try a new app, not to pay

Deezer free is not available in your country. You can choose Deezer premium (12€) or Deezer family (20€). .. Dooooh! 🤦 Thx but NO thx. (uninstall)
Lyrics are hidden behind premium. Scummy Spotify behavior. Would not recommend. edit for developer reply#1: it was free and now it's not. that's not adding perks for subscribers, that's removing a feature from users. update for developer reply#2: So first it was adding a perk for subscribers and now it makes service better for everyone? how does removing features from everyone make non subscribers' service better? edit 4/28/26: smart cache doesn't respect user choice and bloats. fix it, please.
I've been using this app for over 10 years but this latest release is terrible. it doesn't have any links to similar artists or even links to the artist your listening to. it just play a song with no possible interactions on the screen. also the artist pictures displayed on screen are off recent publicity shots which is a little strange
litterly no different than spotify,I wouldent be suprised if this was created by spotify themselves tbh,I switched so I didint have to pay to listen offline,just to find out you have to pay for its,thats stupid when that should be free,stop worrying about money so damn much and just stop at ads.
Painfully slow experience with several minutes to buffer between songs even on gigabit fibre. Miserable app experience, microscopic playlist sizes and fave limit, lyrics barely available. But hey at least KGATWL is still on this service 🙄
No, just no. I went into the app and picked up my 10 artists. You could listen to music, but most music is for premium, which you have to pay for. 0/10 for me.
I literally need premium to listen to songs I transferred from spotify when I have spotify premium so I am uninterrupted from ads.

Unusable! I keep coming back to try this app, was a subscriber many years ago, but after 5 minutes trying to figure it out I give up. Even amazon music is better. Recommendation: don't "make it sh***y".

I used Deezer back in the early 2010s. Recently, I tried to access my old playlists, but I couldn’t, I keep getting a message saying “Deezer Free isn’t available in your region.” I’m not sure why. It seems I now have to pay just to use the app, and their pricing isn't very competitive compared to Spotify.
I switched from Spotify to this, I wish I hadn't because I had even less skips then Spotify which was the problem I wanted to fix. Im going back to Spotify.
Big problem with Google cast from a S25. More miss then hit.
Log in problems Beem using free account for a while, suddenly today the apps cannot log in, either thru fb or email, all unsuccessful. Your server has problems. Until now : Aug 24,2023 their log in problem still never resolve, and how will user want to pay for your service? 18 Apr 2026 : Your service apps each time will have log in error, and kick my account out, and have to relogin, like happening every day. No improvement.
Very unstable in the background on Fairphone 4, whenever I open another app I run the risk of having Deezer close in the background. Sometimes it just closes in the background when the phone is locked as well. Also does not work on Android Auto even though it shows up on it.
Garbage. Can't listen to anything, won't even make a mix. says won't load mix. garbage, garbage... let me say it in French, "Garbagzzzzhe"

I'm in the South Pacific and I since it is a European app, I can kinda understand it but I feel like I should have had some warning before hand.i did try to use it on desktop and again I have to pay for premium to listen to the whole song, but I was better since it let me listen to a 30 secs preview. I can't say much about the rest of the app.
Quite liked the app itself but flow just didn't work for me, kept throwing euro pop into the mix and a very narrow genre despite lots of liking and disliking. Really liked the quiz feature too,but have moved on. May give it another go in a few months.
Deezer's a good service, but this app has terrible UX/UI. Reordering playlists is a chore. No option to clear the entire play query. Playlists won't automatically download new items upon startup, you have to manually navigate to the playlist for that to happen. No option to download a single specific song. No option to delete only a single download in a playlist. You can't add a playlist to the queue while offline. There's a bug where some search matches won't give you the "play next" option.
Works ok in "normal" mode, but its really laggy and unresponsive when the phone has no internet connection (aeroplane mode or tunnel etc.)
The only reason I use this app is because I would rather not use Spotify. Twenty years ago, MP3 services were completely free: you heard the songs you downloaded. The fact that Deezer Premium does that is the very very bare minimum. So, disregarding what the premium services are like how is the base app? Bad. You can listen for hours and will only hear covers of songs you've never heard of before. TLDR: if you are not willing to pay for access to your own music: DO NOT GET THIS APP.
app itself is ok but everytime there is an update I need to uninstall and re install it to make it work (if not deezer not responding - black screen) so pretty annoying

Sobald Deezer datenschutzfreundlich wird, anstelle der aktuellen Datenkrake, komme ich gerne wieder. warum den support kontaktieren? sendet ihr mir dann eine apk ohne 5 verschiedene Google tracker, acrCloud-, facebook-, segment- und smart- tracker?
I have been a Spotify premium user for 7-8 years and decided to move to Deezer premium a month ago because I didn't like some new features and the company's direction... I miss Spotify. other than the sound quality Deezer is far behind on everything. playlists are random, the app is a bit messy, music take time to load.. it's my second month premium and it might be the last one.
The constant popups are beyond aggravating. every time I open the app some part of the UI is covered.
Trop de limitation en mode avion, vraiment pas pratique pour des utilisations hors réseau mobile (avion, long séjour à l'étranger etc.).
good for transportation music but to listen to music is just annoying you can't pick a song you have to just listen it like Spotify in the back then Spotify is more better now than this [And Music is never free :( ]
I love that there are better alternatives to Spotify like Deezer, but I'm so bummed that this app is so glitchy. If you're broadcasting music to a speaker, after a little while the app becomes disconnected from the speaker. The music still plays, but if you try to skip from your phone, all of music is playing from both the speaker and your phone. Rebooting the phone is the only way to stop it. And uninstalling / reinstalling doesn't help. Other small glitches really kill the experience.
I want to support ethical alternatives to mainstream music apps but this one is so buggy and hard to find features in the app. Casting has been buggy the entire time I've had the app and right now isn't working at all. I'm tempted to cancel my subscription.
