unusable for the last few weeks after an update, a pop-up about internet is unavailable. Even after clearing cache/data and uninstalling
I placed a mobile order. I checked in. I showed up at the restaurant - and I waited 15 minutes. I did not receive a confirmation text that my order was ready. I had to go into the store to tell them I did not receive the text, and by that time, my food was cold. I missed my lunch hour, didn't even have time to eat, because Del Taco can't manage to send a text. There's no confirmation text once you check in. Did I actually check in? Did they receive my check-in? Is my food being made? Who knows!
Endlessly spams a banner about how my Internet isn't working, even when outside the app. uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help. too annoying to use. Del taco's lost my money because of this.
Terrible UI. Horrible experience. placed other on app for pickup only to find out (QTY: 3) items in my order aren't even in stock. They tell me they can't refund me the difference because the purchase was via the app. and they can only give me something else I didn't want.
This app is now awful, I keep it only to review the menu before i go. In the app you order for pickup, pay and get the message "are you here", you get there and click "yes" you get another "are you really here" and click "yes" it tells you to cone inside and get your food. 7 cars get there order in the drive though before I get mine. It's faster just going to the drive through to begin with. I might just uninstall the app and spend 15 minutes in the drive through looking at the menu next time.
no matter what i do the app keeps spamming me "Internet is Unavailable. Please check your internet Connection." this will not go away no matter how many times i clear cache and uninstall and reinstall very annoying and coupons never work when putting the codes

I'm logged in, I have been logged in for months and I do not get any notifications. I have uninstalled and installed multiple times and it still doesn't work. Uninstall
cannot order anything. keeps saying I have no internet, but I do and my login works, but freezes every time I add something to my cart
First ordered ever and the app says there's an issue with the contents of my order...10 taco night tacos and 4 burritos and wants me to call the store.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one having issues with the app. I used to be able to use the app fine but now it's stuck on a location that I no longer go to and it won't update to the nearest which I know is only few minutes from me. I enjoy Del Taco and hopefully they'll fix the app but the website isn't any better. Please, fix it !

There are lots of bugs with the latest update. It told me numerous times that it has an issue and I should call the store to order.
I cannot upload my payment system or change my payment info if there was a mistake. This has been issue on prior versions. Please fix or at least provide an option to pay at the store.
when signing up I couldn't search ANY location on it ill just get tacobell slop instead
Del Taco was running a promo: order 3 times in a week and get 200 points. The last day is today May 31st, but the promo is no longer available in the app. I have tried the "contact us" link in the app, but it redirects me to a blank page where I cannot leave a comment or go any further. Needless to say, I'm pretty annoyed right now.
Tried to make an order on the app and use my rewards points. They took away my points and my order disappeared.

this app is bs.
genuinely one of the worst apps for fast food restaurants. more often then not the deals just flat out don't work, but that's assuming you're using one. Who in their right mind would think a free churro for spending 15 is a good deal edit: it denied my order but still consumed 600 points. unbelievable. I was still going to go but I genuinely cannot support this trash financially
Used to work fine but lately it constantly pops up a notification that the Internet is unavailable. Deleting cache and uninstalling doesn't remove the error.
5/24/26. So dumb. I haven't had Del Taco in a while. so I thought I'd order in the app..NOPE.. app does not work. something about a reward in my cart. I didnt want or have any reward. Its Del Taco's loss for not fixing theor app. I even cleared the cache and deleted the app, then reinstalled it. Just doesnt work.
i placed an order through the app and immediately placed a second order and it changed the location of the second order. I tried to cancel the order in the app but it just gave me an error. I tried to use the buttons to contact customer support and it just brought up a blank page.
I dont want to even use order ahead because my food is coming out wrong constantly. it will display an item as having been customized but not list what was changed so its never what I actually ordered. I'm done. this is the 4th time it cleared my changes
best food but one of the worst apps out there. looks like they got the location issue fixed kind of. but now it's offering me things telling me I'm within the terms of the offer and then when I check out it doesn't give me the offer just bills full price. Not sure if it's even doing it right cuz it's saying free crunchtada with $5 order and when I order the crunch tada and something else to make just over $5 order it's saying it's $5 but once the crunch tada comes off it's no longer $5.
I can’t log into the app even though my credentials work fine on the website. It keeps saying invalid login, so I’m locked out of my account. I also can’t create a new account because my email is already tied to the old one, and my phone number is also stuck on that same account, making it impossible to create a new one. Support is hard to reach and doesn’t respond at all. I’ve got Taco Bell, Chipotle, Qdoba, and Cafe Rio all fighting for my dollar...guess no one at Del Taco cares.
The app does not work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it countless times. I've authorized all permissions. I have cleared the data and cache many times. It continues to say no internet access. It doesn't matter where I am or if I'm using a cellular network or Wi-Fi network. I've even traveled to different states and attempted to use it. I am not the only person having the problem. there are Reddit threads about it.

what's the point of ordering ahead with the app if they don't even have the order till I get there. literally only app for food that does this it's stupid. the entire point of ordering ahead is so I can walk in and walk out. not so they can finally start it....get your act together del taco or you are gonna wind up like Carl's Jr and closing half your stores again..,..edit. and again. clicked your I'm here button minutes before I got here. still not in the system yet.....
Rewards selection sucks. The app glitches everytime i try to select a Reward Item.
The app never saves my CC info, I can't remove the expired CC and half of the time a CC isn't even there to use.

the food itself and rewards points are great, make having the app worth it. but the amount of glitches and bugs that happen while trying to place an order make it almost unusable sometimes. there's bad apps, and then there's apps you can clearly tell the developers don't actually test. this is definitely the latter.
Having the same issue as others, being told I do not have items in my basket to fulfill an offer I'm not asking for, which is preventing an order. Cleared cache, restarted order from scratch, same issue.
it seams each time i come and try to use my rewards the kiosk is not very cooperative. it says my account is linked to multi accounts and i never actially get to use it. its very discouraging.
Taking away the ability to use coupons on the app is the biggest dick move. I used to love the app. But the offers now are terrible. coupons in the mail can no longer be used because the new owner jack in the box is a cheapskate.
it gives you the option to not enable location tracking but then bricks itself and refuses to work until you enable location. instant uninstall. and with bad privacy practices like that, I might as well stop eating there too.
