Terrible experience. Unlike apps such as Uber, there’s no proper cancellation option. I accidentally placed an order to the wrong address and tried to cancel it immediately, but the app gave me no way to do so. I then contacted customer service straight away, but they were completely unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the issue. As a result, I lost my money over a simple mistake and was left feeling extremely distressed and frustrated.

non-functional this app used to when fine. now however, no matter how i restart the app, uninstall & reinstall it, update it & restart my phone; the Deliveroo app just never works for me, always appearing with a "something went wrong. please try again" message. I can't track orders I've made, access my account or anything. Have had to reluctantly switch to a competitor.

Worst customer service i have ever come across, store is trying to trick customers amd increase product price upon using the voucher and deliveroo isn't solving this issue for the customer saying that they can't help in this situation. really really bad experience. won't ever use this again

I live on the 7th floor and have a disability, so order delivery of groceries. On countless occasions, drivers refuse to deliver to my door although parking and access are not an issue. Today, the driver claims to have left around £60 of groceries in the garden (although my building doesn't have one) because he couldn't park, in spite of one of his colleagues successfully delivering to my door on the same day. Customer Services have been argumentative and not supportive at all. Avoid at all cost

I got a £1.20 refund. I barely use this service, and bow I remember why. Disgusting and upsetting
I placed an order in Delivero, waited 30 minutes, they cancelled it, so I ordered the same thing, but it ended up being more expensive. Lost time and money...

app is ok. nothing special. However, the customer service is so stupid, that I genuinely want to punch my phone trying to talk to them. the same three responses, no explanations, and no fair outcomes. honestly, save yourself the hassle and walk/drive for food, because as soon as you have an issue they'll never help fix it.

Had a £50 gift card on my account and placed on order. Instead the app took it from my bank. No help from the customer support, completely useless. Use Just Eat instead, ive actually been able to get help from them if an order has an issue. Thanks Deliveroo, your the reason i have had to pawn off my xbox this month just so i can make rent 😊

Their rider took 55 minutes to deliver food from about 15 mins away. Refused to fully reimburse the cost of the meal, even after escalating. They said they can only refund a percentage of my meal. Therefore I can only rate them a percentage of the stars I was going to had they handled my complaint better.
Hasn't worked for days. App opens, shows the logo then crashes. Nothing fixes it.

drivers cant read always ignoring my extra instructions which is a option all I ask if for them not to knock as my dog goes mental and the never read it and often deliver my stuff to other houses and they do nothing about it apart from apologise and sometimes gives a refund but that's not "possible"

Buyer beware. despite being the same app and being able to see all your orders on it, subscriptions do not carry from country to country. if you say signed up to Deliveroo plus while on holiday, you'll be charged repeatedly but receive none of the features anywhere but the country where it happened. You are never told this is the case, it's not mentioned and the app doesn't even flag it up. The option to cancel your subscription just disappears when you change countries.
I rarely leave negative feedback, but this experience made me delete Deliveroo. While at work, I ordered light food for my son. The order was declined, and I thought it was a card issue. After several attempts, I found money was deducted due to a 1 dirham difference from the minimum order. The total already exceeded the required amount. Why not notify me to add an item instead of deducting money?
App is terrible, customer service is worse my first order was 2 hours late and they put another order in the same driver, never downloading it again

So the driver forgets to deliver your full shopping order and deliveroo only refund 20% of the value. Thats fraud, stealing and discusting service. Its disturbing to think how much this company is scamming from people. I have cancelled plus and removed the app. Stay clear!

you place an order with a estimated delivery time of 20 minutes over 1 hour later still not here and nobody to complain to via the app... dreadful customer service...
