I will no longer be selling on this app. They refuse to refund me the additional fee I didn't consent to pay. Also now they don't give the money to you until after the item has been delivered, which is also so bad, especially when we have to pay shipping costs. Its free to sell on ebay now

New update, so I sold an item, the buyer claims he got the wrong item which he did not. I told him to return the item for a full refund. a depop employee decided to refund the buyer despite never returning my item. I guess you can just scam people for free on this app. Great job depop 👍
No more PayPal and Buyers are about to pay around $1 more per item as of 22 July. Who needs convenient buying when there's no seller fee, though?
absolute shite app for buying clothes, refund process is a nightmare. sellers selling stuff and not describing faults, selling fake stuff. be very careful.
trash sellers. got two fake sellers on it and then quit the app.

TERRIBLE APP TERRIBLE PLATFORM TERRIBLE SERVICE! YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR ITEMS AND THAN APPARENTLY WAIT UP TO 6 MONTHS TO SEE IF THE SELLER EVER SHIPS THE ITEMS YOU PAID FOR AND IF NOT THEN YOU CAN ASK FOR A REFUND BUT NOT UNTIL YOU GO BACK AND FORTH FOR DAYS WITH AI ONLY ABLE TO USE THEIR PRE AUTHORIZED RESPONSES TO STUPID QUESTIONS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR ORDER. THE WHOLE THING IS REALLY QUITE ANNOYING AND IN THE END YOU'LL NEVER RECEIVE YOUR ITEM AND EVENTUALLY RECEIVE A REFUND!
Had an international seller take 2 weeks+ to ship an item. The day it arrived I confirmed it had completely incorrect tags to the brand advertised. I opened a claim with Depop, they put their hands in the air and said the time for support had elapsed, $400 down the drain. Depop claim to protect you but the moment something goes wrong, they want nothing to do with you. Marketplace is littered with fakes, an app designed by someone that's never used a phone. Ebay is 100 times better than this.
AI is terrible. My bio said to dm me for more info and they banned me for taking payments outside the app even though depop has an in app messaging system that I was using. Ridiculous.
App is too easily used for scams. You can buy clothing, request a refund saying it's not what was advertised and then keep the item. It's ridiculous.
I used to love selling on Depop. Had a wonderful store and some amazing followers who would repurchase from me. Out of the blue one customer was unhappy (I have a 5 star rating) and didn't read a full posting and look at photos. Then goes and says the item is counterfeit when it's not. Depop just took their side and banned me. I sent the photos and the receipt my grandmother gave me that was 12 years old for the item. Depop says it's not reliable and refusing to return my item.
It keeps saying error theres a problem 😕 I cant view anything. Just downloaded it and cant see anything. uninstalling
cannot set size preferences. I set them, when I clicked back to shopping all but one switched to men's sizes. this happened several times and I deleted app out of frustration same day I downloaded it.
DONOT BUY OR SELL ON THIS APP! THIS IS HORRIBLE IF YOU'RE SELLING THEY SCAM YOU OUT OF ALL YOU EARNINGS AND NOBODY BUYS ANYTHING ON HERE. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYONE!!

depop is a scam they suspended my account and kept the money owing. Its also full of lowballers with no money that just waste your time. Read the reviews depop is not worth it 😑
iam trying to contact customer support. no response from them, app has lot of glitches and iam unable to add my bank account to withdraw . approx $400 stuck at withdrawals . A I agent respond you with unwanted responses

Repop is basically 90% fakes or overpriced rubbish from huge resellers. On top of that it has a really awful design, home page is poorly laid out, algorithm is terrible and your limited to only 10 saved searches. This app is clearly only run for profit now and doesn't care about its users. No reason to use this app over vinted.
I loved this app in the beginning but after my 1st sale/ payment I have not received any other and have been waiting for my funds to become available it's been 11 days and 7 messages to support. PLEASE PAY ME and I will gladly give 5 stars as long as this is not the way it will be every sale form now on....
Bring back OG depop. You're taking too much and have buyer bias. You're losing your spark depop !!
recently got this app and purchased about 10 clothing items so far so far 5 of them have had flaws not stated in sellers description. im getting angry and the return process is annoying and complicated why can't it be easy like other apps.. im waiting on a few more items but I wouldn't be surprised these have flaws as well. I haven't tried anything else than clothing idk if i want to keep this app after this experience 🤔 and why does this app keep freezing in the afternoons everyday??
waste of time selling app. most buyers are either scammers or lowballers and duds. don't even bother. already deleted my account
not a fantastic experience...there are some great deals but that comes with a lot of scammers as well. update had a seller refund my purchase...the site says refunded but never received the the refund so I would be extremely careful.
buyer protection is a marketing scam. but being a seller is great. their ai almost always sides with the seller even if they admit to the customer they lied about the condition of the shoes. as an honest seller I shouldn't have a problem. but any business that allows AI to make decisions is trash
dont use depop. they have a noncontesting buyer's remorse process. u cant fight with depop just the buyer which is futile. so basically if the buyer changes their mind as a seller youre screwed. go to Posh, Vinted or Whatnot.
Easy enough to use, but after making a purchase and a sale, I discovered they charge both the buyers and the sellers the "transaction fee," on the same transaction. Little bit of double dipping action goin' on there. Still way more reasonable than Poshmark's outrageous $7 minimum on postage for a freaking shirt though. UPDATE: they don't let you shop with your balance. They try to force you to give your bank account number instead of sending a check like Poshmark. Or sign up for a top up card.
