Wie kann es sein, dass eine Bankanwendung, die mit sehr sensiblen Kundendaten arbeitet, Daten an Google, Meta und andere Unternehmen verkauft? Das wirkt wie eine fragwürdige Praxis.
die für anfang 2026 angekündigte (wiedereinführung der) übersicht der baufinanzierungen ist immer noch nicht verfügbar. die spracheinstellung lässt sich in der app nicht ändern.

my phone is switched to english (gb) with a german local. All dates displayed in the imperial date format with 12 hour time! This makes zero sense. No uses this, except the US! Why doesn't it honor the phones settings like every other app does? Or why isn't there an option in the ui to change it? At least the bare minimum would be to use at least the iso standard format. How could such a flaw slipped though testing? Did really no one at a german bank check this?
i had to uninstall uninstall the app to fix my phone. then when i try to install the app again and login with my ID, password and even fingerprint, both from my phone and laptop with meine deutsche bank, it's asking to Approve with BestSign through the app. how stupid can a system be? i know my BestSign password, but i can't even use it to log in. How can one accept the order through the app if one is not signed in the app. how ridiculous is this.
Since a month or so ago, I cannot log in from my PC. I use my correct account number and password that I've been using up until december, and it says to approve the login via bestsign with this app. As soon as I tap on the notification to open the app, the login-site on PC shows an error. It doesn't say what the error is, just a generic 'something wrong, please check your bestsign app' message. App is on the latest version. The phone is not jailbroken.
can't transfer money after new update
What is the problem with the new app? Every time I try to log in, I get an error and cannot access my account.
Stop changing things every now and then in the App!!! Its sooo annoying
Took 3 days to get a paper letter in my postbox with my ID, then another 2 days to get the one-time password. Entered it in the app, and it forced me to choose a second mechanism for device verification with yet another password. Once I set it up, it says it needs to be activated. Guess the activation procedure? Right, I will have to wait for another letter in my postbox in 3 days for the activation code. I'm thankful I don't have to buy a fax machine to activate the app.
I am very disappointed after an update. In the older version there were more visibility and features, but now after getting the update functionality is limited. For example in the older version we were able to see rest credit amount and percentage of paid housing credit now it is not possible. Why do Deutsche Bank provide this kind of downgraded update to customers. It is realy disappointing. The comments after the update reflects how customers are unsatisfied. Issue is not fixed yet.
Statt sicherer zu werden wird extrem unsicherer. jetzt kann ich (oder jemand anderer) alles (mein Konto plündern) mit einem Gerät und eine app.

BestSign service isn't working today. If BestSign isn't working then you cannot bank. Useless enshittification. Just responding to this useless response to my review: I shouldn't need to call tech support for a banking app. If you're going to add layers of security to your app (fair enough) make sure it works, 100% of the time. This isn't a Farmville app, this is folks money. Was working the other day, today I use it and even trying to transfer from within the app doesn't trigger the BestSign.
nothing any longer works after update
makes me type my entire account number at each login. does not show history of transactions in a practical way. Convoluted and annoying.
The postbox is messed up in the app. the letters (account statements, credit card statements, etc) are missing and the order is reversed showing very old letters on the top. Dissapointed.

it is not helpful to make transfer and my transaction was rejected without providing any reason. I have more problems since I download the app, unfortunately
complicated, not easy to work with
before the update things were fine. after the update somehow the search feature is broken in transactions. when I try to search for some transaction I cannot type more than one character.
I don't have NFC support, so I cannot activate bestsign with my card. however app doesn't give me any other choice (like per post), and I cannot login through browser, which redirects me to the app. it's so secure you cannot login

I have been a customer of Deutsche Bank for over 20 years, and unfortunately this is the worst banking application I have ever used. The previous version was significantly better in terms of usability and stability. It is disappointing to see such a downgrade from a bank with Deutsche Bank’s reputation.
How can they not have a send again functionality? In 2026?

photo tan is a real pain, I agree with the security measures but implementation is horrible. I need to register a new phone but it requires me to have a letter that was sent to me 5 years ago.

Doesn't stand comparison with the other banking apps. Even the new version feels 10 years old. I mean they try, but don't seem to know what they do. Even the basics function poorly. No button to reproduce payment from the history, default transfer takes a day(!!!). I could go on.
Bring the dark mode back, rest of UI changes are good
The user experience with the old PhotoTAN was a whole lot better. BestSign is one the most annoying security mechanisms I've been forced to use so far. And unfortunately there's no alternates at Deutsche Bank.
The documents in the postbox are not ordered and there is no option to order them. Kontoauszug, Abrechnung and Anlage; all are random and one can be from decade ago and the other from 2021. When there is a new statement, I could only find it clicking on unread message and once its read, then it goes back to the rabbit hole and good luck finding it. I will be glad if one can guide me to sort it out; otherwise please FIX it. Thank You🙏
Wohl eher ein Rückschritt in der App Entwicklung. Übersicht über Konten schlecht, muss jetzt jedes Mal extra Phototan per button holen damit die app öffnet.
Very Expensive bank. 7 Euros something monthly+ 18 euros charges annually credit card.
