The help virtual assistant is completely useless. I had a question that was not on one of the suggested options, and now I have no way of contacting them about my ticket.

they confirmed the refund amount to be PHP 27,610.00. I proceeded with the cancellation because it was close to the original price I paid for. they said that they have processed my refund and I have to wait for it to be credited to my bank account. after more than 10 days, no refund was made. I followed up my request and then they created a new ticket and my refund amount decreased to just Php21,048.79. You literally said you had technical issues. How is it customer's fault? horrible service
The app is useful for finding ferries, but has a glitch where 2/4 times I made a booking, I made a payment using GPay and the money is taken but no tickets or booking number issued. one I was able to reverse the other, DF has just taken my money and won't give it back. (Dispute is with Visa now, > a month later). Won't risk using again.
The worst app I've ever had the misfortune to use. Do yourself a favour.. book your ferry with somebody else.
why do I need an app to get my ticket, very inconvenient

the outbound trip to Capri was cancelled, and they refuse to pay back the inbound trip! i could fly there! SCAM!!!!!!!!

Constantly logged out of app at the most inconvenient times too. Support is either staffed by bots or people who really really don't give a hoot about their customers. We had a not quite straightforward issue with a booking in Argentina and support just kept repeating the same response which didn't even attempt to deal with it. Just gave up in the end and will never use Direct Ferries again.

not working, freezes upon launching
Both the app and the website are borderline unusable. If you use this service, be sure to print out your ticket confirmation because there's no telling whether the website/app will work on the day you're supposed to travel. If there was any other service available to buy my tickets, I would've used it instead.
