game use to never take so long to download, now its takin almost forever
updated: after years of playing and paying extra money to max out a character every month with the diamond pass Disney decided to roll out an update that no longer gave us the maxed out characters we paid for. they said we would get the next star up for every character accept the ones that are at 5 star that we paid to be maxed. its a shady and greedy move and I will not support it after they did this fun nostalgic mario kart style fun game. a little slow at times but fun for mobile and xbox

another gotcha game full of micro transactions and you have to spend at leadt 60 bucks just to unlock one character and barely level up.....they just want your money
Gameplay is great. This was my favorite game for almost 2 years. It has unfortunately become extremely pay to win and pay to progress and pay to unlock almost everything in the game.

Couldn't even max out one racer with that kind of money being spent shows me it's essentially a scam. Shame that such a great concept and gameplay can be so adversely affected

this game went from very enjoyable to not at all fun to play anymore. you fixed a system that was not broken and are simply focusing on being as greedy as you possibly can. a shame really cause it's ruining a game that used to be alot of fun.
worste game i ever played
This was a great game but since the new update it has completely nerfed progression. Takes forever to upgrade characters and the grind is just not worth it. Really enjoyed the past year playing this most days but guess I'm not the target audience as I never spent anything but I've finally had enough!
Founding member, but the game is no longer fun. Not because of the gameplay, but the greed from this company gets worse with every season. Also, game play issues have become overwhelming. Still track issues that have not been fixed. ex. falling crates still disappear on stitch track. How long has this been an issue? But the main reason i'm finding it hard to be motivated to play is the blatant greed tactics to extract as much money as possible from the player base. Listen to your customers.

Was 5 stars. Now 1. It's like my Ex-Wife greedy. You have to PAY to Play. The game teaches you that greediness & Shrinkflation has no boundaries. I.E new upgrade structure and the ability toearn new racers, upgrade coins & in game currency. So Goodbye SpeedStorm.

MONEY GRABBERS. They love to make the game impossible. In the recent update they changed the coins you use and now you barely get enough to do anything with. unless you pay for more using real money. disgrace. really liked this game. so disappointed in Disney. I'll be cancelling my Disney+ too for this.
played this game for 2 years and enjoyed it until this last update for s19. If you want to play you now need very deep pockets. So pre s18 before cars, £16 used to get you racers, crew shards loads of coins, upgrade coins and other races along side the season. Now they have changed everything. So £16 season pass for racers you already have and extra £40 to get 15 pieces of each racer but they will let you buy 5 lots of it. Festive pass an additional £8. I've now quit it's all about you spending
way to many glitches and customer service is no help my little girl had to start a new game cause her account crashed for some reason she cant even get past the first part of the game with mickey if freezes over 3 months know
Game was good before the recent update. Now the game is near impossible to gain upgrade tokens, while the price to upgrade a character has completely skyrocketed. We used to gain in game currencies while leveling up characters every level but now left with nothing until an entire star is gained. The game is going to lose so many players new and old simply because of greed.
Season 19 has ruined this game. Every aspect of the game has been negatively impacted by the update and it's now impossible to make any meaningful progress without spending money. Event rewards have been drained of value, or the events have been removed entirely. Early game progression is dreadfully slow. Everywhere you turn they're asking for money. This game was an easy 4 star in season 18, but now I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Do not waste your time.

Game with lootboxes (gambling boxes). Can't recommend it for children or people struggling with gambling. Since 2026, it's pay to win
Please go back to how it is. Cars season was bad enough. But Disney Villians season is even worst. I may lose hope for this game and quit if this is the changes they are doing.
this game was fun till they did the update yesterday and then it became a money grabber they took away the upgrade coins and it all started with a mouse etc I'm highly thinking of deleting the game unless they go back to the way it use to be I'm totally not happy with it now and it makes it harder to get racers etc me and my partner both have said speedstorm is going to lose millions or thousands of players with this update you need to change the game back

In one day it went from Great to Horrible... It was a fun game to play. You could upgrade your Racers slowly but surely. The gameplay and Racers are still great. It is now close to impossible to rank up a racer without hundreds of dollars or playing all day. Part of the fun of these games is ranking up the Racers you have. That has been destroyed in one update. The game is now unplayable.
This used to be a great game. Almost every change makes the game worse and less fun to play. They just keep decreasing the value while increasing the amount of things that need to be payed for. They used to give 1 free season character and you had to pay for the others, then they took that away and also reduced the amount of season characters while not decreasing the price. Then the Cars season which should have been amazing took away the ability to even purchase the cars characters at all!
The game is awful since the last update. All the upgrade coins were decommissioned with very short notice, forcing all players to start over. Duplicate items have been added to the random universal box, making it impossible to make steady progress over time. Pretty fitting changes for a season themed around Disney Villains.
Ruined a really good free to play game in 2 seasons. Practically everything is now behind a pay wall, and progression if you are a free to play player is practically impossible. Season 18 removed new characters from the season passes, and put them behind a paywall. Season 19 has changed progression to horrible stars and fragments (which are difficult to see) and tune coins are impossible to get without paying up. I've put over 555hours 25mins into the game and I'm pretty much done with it!!
The game visuals are excelent, gaming controls are good, roster size is great with many Disney characters to choose from. But that is all the good one can say. Month after month, developers take away features that allow you to progress and lock content, old and new, behind very steep paywalls. Almost everything you can unlock is based on either expensive paying or gambling on paid gacha boxes. As much as I liked the game at first, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone.
recent update very unstable, got disconnected from race numerous times. a lot of time unable to login to the game even when using good Wifi/cellular.

The game is fun, me and the family have all been playing for some time, but after all the changes they made this season and the last, it is now just a cash grab. All new racers must now be purchased, the season pass now offers nothing to the player that is worth the money, and nearly everything is behind a pay wall. Some of the events a lot of players can't compete in without spending money to 'buy' the racer needed. We will no longer be playing, as its no longer worth it.
Doubled down on egregious monetization before fixing everything wrong with the connectivity, all while having limited races that are lost when the servers fail. One can take the money they'd need to get one character and buy a functioning video game and that is disgusting. Where is the money going when the game barely works?

The game has changed a lot, from a fun free to play to a grindy pay to compete. multi-player looks emptier by the day and the new characters look too expensive to get if you are not intending to be a whale
is it just me or is the server seem to all be down because of the update
wish I could give it less than 1 star, since the update, It wont connect to the server!!!! why? I cant even finish 1 race without it cutting out 😤
