The app is not made for financially responsible "creditcard people" I was hoping this would simplify my efforts in maintaining a budget. I spent the same amount of time fixing what was imported as I did maintaining my own spreadsheet. Only half of my accounts actually connected with the app (student loans and 401K had to manually tracked). On top of that they refused to refund me after paying for a year membership when the functionality stopped a few months into the year.
Application is not reliable, frequently asking the same questions and not updating as it should. Last straw was waiting for the signed cook book and digital meal plan that was advertised but never came after 3 plus months with no communication.
Personally, it was the worst app experience that I've had in app history. I've been following Caleb Hammer for about years. I've been using Rocket Money for a couple of years now, and when he advertised the dollarwise app, he swore that it was better than Rocket Money, and i downloaded it instantly. It won't even connect to any of my banks at all, so I just stopped using it for about a month, and I got hit with a $100 membership fee. so I got back on, and its still broken. ZERO STARS!!!!!
There is zero point in a budgeting app costing this much out of your budget. The app offers no value that a free calculator doesn't do. you're already making a profit from stealing and selling information, you don't need a subscription cost on top

the 3 day trial isnt long enough to connect to your bank. Give us a longer trial to see if we like the app before we are forced to pay for it.
Cant get it to setup, it just hangs
Really wanted to use this app but really put off that I had to link my bank account before finding out that I have to subscribe $15 a month to even use it :/ for a guy whos job is helping people budget to get out of living paycheck to paycheck, you'd think there would either be a free base feature or be cheaper to use. As a Finacial Audit fan im super disappointed.
It's a very greedy subscription based app.
can't connect my bank it just keeps looping and not connecting accounts, absolutely absurd when I'm using a big bank and not something obscure

I just doesn't work. it starts up then says download updates. then it goes to a welcome screen and that's it. Doesn't work . 1st app I ever downloaded an it doesn't open. I found this on Caleb hammers podcast. that I really like.
I wish this app actually worked. my transactions were not displaying last week. now I can't connect my bank to the app. I will be deleting this app.

can even make an account. keeps saying l, "Failed to send verification code. Please try again." I restarted, re-downloaded, and even tried different passwords. still same thing. was really looking forward to see how the app was.

I follow Caleb and I love his content and his advice on a lot of things I really wanted to like the app but I can't get past trying to just create an account
I only downloaded this to say how redundant this app is. or in fact, ANY BUDGET APP THAT HAS IN APP PURCHASES, is redundant. I'm trying to pinch pennies here, I cant waste money on an app thats supposed to help me with it

At least Dave Ramsey app has a free version. I literally just watched a video where he was getting onto someone about subbing to Spotify, but you want to charge me to help me?
went through so much trouble only to find out it's subscription based only. let users know is a subscription only up front.

cant even connect my bank account, I trying sending the code through txt and nothing happens so I tried a phone call still nothing happens fix your app.
I have connected my accounts so many times...it keeps making me select the reason I want to use that app and then making me re connect my account. I've looked on my bank and it says its all good... I was excited to switch over from Rocket money but now im just frustrated.
Very disappointing experience this far. I've just been trying to add my accounts and can't get them to link. It's been days of trying. I can't believe I spent money on the annual. Just proof that I'm still making bad decisions I guess...

This is a temporary rating. Sry Caleb. I am trying to use this app, however I never receive the email to enter the sent code to even sign up. I hope someone can help me. I really wanna support The Hammer Elite Team.
I got to put my email in to get a code to get in and it never sends the code. have tried again still do not get the code in my email.
Unable to connect any accounts. I've deleted the app, reinstalled, cleared storage, all the things, and tried two weeks apart and am still unable to connect a single account. It glitches and keeps kicking back to the previous screen.
super glitchy, didn't pull any insights and asking for a payment after a 3 day trial. made me try and link my bank account 7 times Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

It doesn't work. the 3 day trial isn't even long enough for it to sync your data, if you can even connect your accounts to begin with. Transactions never show up. Every time I open the app, it makes me go through all the start up questions and tells me how things have changed, and never remembers my answers. it's a waste of time and money.
Connected accounts. Nothing pulls up in the app. also have to fill out profile every time I start the app. cancelled and uninstalled
Seriously disappointed!! This app should have never been released in this state. It's so buggy it doesn't even do its job. I waited 3 days and the link accounts never populated any info. Every time I open the app, I have to go back through the initial questionnaire even though nothing has changed. And the worst thing, It won't even let me delete the account because it fails to send the email. Now I will get charged because I can't delete within the trial period.
linking accounts was easy but after linking all my accounts it would not display anything and would randomly log me out of the app and would have to log back in. paid for annual sub. App still needs some fixing. I would sub again once they fix the app.

I had high hopes for this app. I connected my bank accounts and could see my totals right away. However, when it came time to actually review my transactions, the app claimed "no bank connected." I went through the re-connection process, and my bank confirmed it was linked, but nothing. While it's nice to see account totals, the core functionality is completely broken. Without transaction tracking, this paid app is utterly useless compared to a spreadsheet
It has my bank card and account information on the home screen and that's about the extent of it. All of my accounts are connected but on the insights AND activity tabs it tells me I need to connect my accounts. So I tried to and it just flat out didn't work. it asked me to try again and again and again. I contacted support if I don't hear back soon I guess I'll just delete the account. Really wanted this to work. Also it's not free despite Caleb telling his audience it's free.
Tried connecting bank accounts but couldn't find any of the Canadian banks.
when asking to connect banks it's just a blank screen. Can't set anything up so not worth the 99$ a year.

edit. i was told i was given a refund. thank you i hope the app can work better in the future. it did work nicely when it worked. nothing is syncing to my accounts after the month rolled over. none of the buttons are working when i click on the main page. waste of money since I was trying to use this to help save ....absolutely ridiculous I want my money back
