load it to see what it might be like. Even with a supposed "free" plan, you are forced to subscribe to their annual plan even before you can use the "free" plan. Not happy you are forced into this when they advertise and even on the page they force you to subscribe even states there is a free plan.
The practice mode is absolute wasted. It shows the answers in the sentences. What's the point of practice that way? too many bugs and wrong functioning. Purchased the paid version the last year, and probably the last time.
stop advertising it as free, as it is not. stop wasting people's time.

Idk why you guys think that I need to see anything in my native language if my device is clearly set to English, and I just want to practice. Here we have to part our ways

I want simple static materials without *retracted because apparently a bot doesn't allow use of words in the reviews that are consens for how we call unethical, monopolistic practices from IT companies*.

the application has a lot of ads, the interface is easy and useful, but for every operation you need the network, also to add more words you have to wait the advertisement, you lose the experience inside the app
I’m experiencing an issue where my annual premium subscription was cut short after only 4 months. Even though Google Play shows the subscription is valid until Nov 19, I no longer have access to the features. I've already reached out to support, but instead of resolving the technical glitch, they just sent me instructions on how to pay for a new sub. Recently, they stopped responding to my tickets altogether.
I tried this app. I subscribed, then cancelled when I realized it would not work for me. they kept my money and said they would cancel after a year. I requested it immediately. check my usage data. This is my reply to your comment.
Associating words with their translation in the native language is actually very counterproductive.
there's no way to close the payment pop up, it shows white all around it with no exit button.
No written exercises. Revising my review down to 2 stars. The conversation AI makes all sorts of bizarre mistakes. Not worth the price for something only half baked.

I can't even open this app now because of their language day ad that pops up right after I open the app.
I was very happy with the app because I use it to learn Chinese, but in the most recent update they removed the pinyin section, which was a huge help for knowing how to pronounce or write words if you're new to the language. The loss is very noticeable, and I'm thinking of switching apps since that feature gave this app a significant advantage over others.
