this app is a snake. I don't tip my back nore my side hustles for "Holding" extra side cash i own. the only thing this app is good for is looking at a credit score.
DO NOT USE THIS APP. They have been sued previously for intentionally making you go negative when you pay them back. They have been sued at least 3 times for diseptive practices and for fraud. They will lie their way out of it and if you fight it they will just deactivate your account while still charging you. I am now oweing my bank fees for their mistake. this is a scam.

Been trying to reconnect for 3 days now... too many glitches!!!! This happens every pay period. They told my that they were good on their end, but app still says needs to reconnect with bank... I am very much over it!!!!!

No longer accepts Federal Income, was with them for a year, had $575.00 available credit line & I'd pay in full monthly religiously, now suddenly I don't qualify & customer service is inept, like them. Don't bother with these clowns.

My borrow amount was also reduced for no reason!! I should have headed the warnings! This sham app will give you a borrow amount, the customer then borrows, and then suddenly the borrow amount is reduced so the company makes $50+ off each and every customer. shady shams. Avoid if you want to keep your $$!!

Will beg for tips, overcharges on fees, even when balance is repaid your "earning" will be cut back. Canceled and deleted
cashapp pays you two days early, this app wants to charge you to transfer your funds for you. sure it's $2.99 but why even do that? BS scammers
This app is garbage. They want work locations GPS at all time. You have to go thru hoops basically to get an estimate.
the ppl that list what the updates are for are using the same exact reasons that the app us being updated over and over and over. My Earnin app just updated on the 26th of April and here it is again saying the app needs to be update. I use the app for cash advance and im finding out that after I repay every advance either that day or the next the app has to update. Just so happens the update also somehow stops showing the repayment thay was made prior to the update. Just sad how low some go.
rating will update if anytbing changes but for now it has told me i have 50$ available but keeps saying it needs to verify my bank account which it has already send a 1 cent transaction multiple times over a couple months and still just says pending or whatever so i dont believe it actually works like it says it does!

I would not recommend using this app. There are far less sketchy cash advance apps out there... and watch out for the tech Louise M. a very sketch individual that has access to your information, be careful what you share... please consider other options before downloading this app, you've been ⚠️. ... edit: they've replied to this review with nonsense showing odd behavior from even the devs, shame on you.. do better.
I’m extremely disappointed with how this app has changed. What used to be a helpful and reliable service has now become something that feels unfair and exclusionary. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have never had any issues with my account. Out of nowhere, I was informed that the app no longer works with individuals who receive Social Security. That decision is not only frustrating-it feels discriminatory. People who rely on Social Security are often the ones who need loans it get by.
Can't upload bank transactions to prove the repayment took place and when I try to repay early it doesn't work.

DO NOT USE EARNIN!!! over the last 4 weeks they have taken over $100 a week from me when I contact support i get told there's nothing they can do. I have never missed a repayment i have always paid in full and on time. I highly recommend you do not use this app or institution for your direct deposit as of 05/01/2026 my max withdrawal was $250 I wake up today its 0 after repayment of $256 because they take a 5.99 fee for instant withdrawal

I created an account and have connected my bank account well over 30 times. Plaid and my bank both say that Earnin has now been properly connected. The issue is that the Earnin app is continuously not saving the login and kicking me back to make me connect my account. There is also nowhere in the app for me to contact support. This has been a HUGE waste of time and it's frustrating.
I've been a user of this app for quite some time and while speaking with the so-called live chat support after my Max was RANDOMLY decreased by $100..I was not only gaslit by the supervisor, I was LIED to about the reasons why my max decreased. I asked simple questions and each time, my questions were BLATANTLY ignored while they gave BLATANT copy paste responses while repeating themselves over and over again. They will randomly decrease your MAX amount without ANY clear reason why.
Screw this app. Bad review incoming. This app's dumb AI thinks my husband's direct deposits were mine even though they were from a totally different company and on different pay weeks. The app wouldn't allow me up upload proof and proceeded to connect me with AI in a chat with a finite amount of responses. I'm done jumping through hoops when nothing has changed and I've always paid back any cash outs that I've received. No stars would be better.

the part where you can earn 50 dollars for a referral is a scam.. they do a verification process taht fails automatically and you cant recieve the incentive for referrals so dont waste your time.. I wont be using the app again... then I had someone email me about this review and what the could so to help. had me thinking they were gonna fix it. Now all of a sudden I cant reply to the email and they haven't responded to the proof I was me they asked me for.

This app promoted itself with inescapable ads. Literally stick for 4 or 5 minutes plus. I will always rate aps that have this invasive ad behavior as 1 star.
I would put no stars on this app. I have been trying the past 4 days to get in advance. but the app keeps saying to reconnect to my bank period when it's a common bank. I would not trust this app anymore. I'm going to delete it and block it from all my accounts. please be aware do not download this app it's not worth it.

I pay my advance back every time not late not anything. I've been off a month paid medical leave, and they will not let me cash back out. I provided all the documentation they required and they said I had to be tracked back at my job by gps. So ridiculous I am deleting the ap based on that

I've been using Earnin for a few years and until probably the last year or so, customer care agents were super helpful and they were able to increase maxes and make sure that you could cash out and all of that changed when they decided to let the app go fully independent and do everything on its own and they don't care, so if you're looking for an app that has an helpful customer service and it's carrying people working for it, this is not this happened any longer, please find Something Else.
I originally loved this app, but shady things keep happening like available earnings changing suddenly with no explanation, now it shows earnings available you can't touch unless you ask a co-worker for a boost. Seems like a tactic to get more people to use the app. It ALWAYS said $0 earnings available when you exhausted not using the boost. It just seems shady and gives me the ick. It's a 2 star rating because customer service is great. It's not their fault the app is misleading.
Other apps are better and cheaper. Max amount of 150 per day with a 5.99 charge for every single withdrawal AND they beg for Tips too! I only use this app if I am in an absolute pinch, even then, it's barely worth it. Payactiv is way better, I can withdraw 500 at one time with only a 3.49 fee for immediate funding.
I've had problems before with cash advance apps like this before like how they cause financial dependency not in a good way either. But this morning I'm told I can't access my advance features because they're waiting on my payment to verify. After 2+ years of using this app this is the first time this has happened to me.
not sure what happened,used it fine yesterday and today it wouldn't take my pin. tired to get a code texted to me to help login and same issue. support told me to uninstall and reinstall but im still having the same issue. please help
