App doesn't work with current (2025) updates to Android. Developer refuses to address. This is an issue only the developer can resolve.

I bought this app years ago and now in 2024 i cant use it because it keeps asking me for storage permission and no mayter what i do i cant get it to work. I paid for this is should be grandfathered into whatever updated version works for my android device.
Unable to use on Android 13. App asks to allow external storage permissions, but android 13 users are not able to allow them. The app has to specifically request the permission otherwise it's useless.
Like like I said when I put echo on it has a very nasty feedback and it wasn't English at first but now it's in all kinds of other languages that I do not understand and I cannot get it to work right and there is no applications to get it to work right so can I please have a refund, echovox 2.0 classic.

I have been listening to the Echovox today without speak while it's on and I am convinced that this app records your conversation while your phone is in your pocket or beside you while your not on it. I feel like it plays back your conversations that it recorded but they speed the words up. I have sat here and listened for a while and I hear my voice and somethings I have told my clients. I feel like this is a bs app.
lame lame lame. it uses sound banks... of course people will hear stuff come through, its random sounds. eventually they will make something that sounds like a word. wasted 20 bux on this stink
Does not startup and causing Application Manager to crash Android Settings when App Manager is accessed when this is installed. 5 stars when fixed as I prefer it over Echovox 3.0. Have tested on Moto X Pure, Nexus 6P, and Moto G4.
App is a rip off. Been tested loads. Even turned off the settings gs to stop voices coming through and voices still came through. I've been robbed. Worst app going. Nothing on the free portal app that's so much better than this. Well done for ripping people off.

This guy (Danny Roberge) and his followers (the Wankers) are obnoxious hypocritical gaylords. Don't ask for help or you will be verbally assaulted. I STRONGLY REGRET installing this app and then being stupid enough to purchase this application. Refund would be nice.
I want a refund!! I know for a fact this app is recording the users voices along with what ever is programmed into the app, I feel I was hearing some responses at first but then and only after I would say a name would I hear the name I gave..
I bought this app and its awful. Emailed the producer/maker of the app within the first 36 hours of purchasing for a refund. To this day I still have had no response.
Youre all liars. This is a scam. Doesn't work. Just garbled text to voice speech patterns. Obviously a waste of money as soon as u start the app
I watched the demo video then downloaded it to just hear the exact same recording as the demo video, guy n girl talking jiberish over each other. Came out and watched the video again to double check and was def the EXACT SAME? So i just got a refund. Had high hopes too, but £12 is too much to gamble if i kept the app and it didnt work. I'd rather have afree trial so i could go somewhere haunted to test it, then if happy would gladly pay £12. Maybe something to consider?

Sorry for the 1 star, guys, but I've only just this minute bought your app and tried it, but it doesnt get to go for very long before either crashing or hanging. Twice it gave the message "unfortunately echo vox has stopped", and the 3rd time, it just stopped and froze up. Can you reccomend a fix? I am using a Samsung Galaxy S 10.1 tablet. I'll totally return and give you rave reviews when it doesnt die on me, 3mins in. Thank you in advance for any help.
(Android 13) EchoVox 2.0 Classic Edition App requires external storage Permission to work.you look in permissions nothing there accept microphone permission no permission denied Had echovox classic for many years had some good results on older phones. I think Danny will be updating the Echovox 2.0 soon
I would like my $20 back. I got some results from it. But it's way too hard to hear it. I have used other boxes with more clear results. Just not for me.
I would give 5 whole stars, but..you have got to disable the recording. I want to use echo but the quality that comes from the built in recorder is awful..i have other apps on my phone with way better quality. Please disable the autorecord when using echo.

Don't play with it. Keep in mind you can NOT be talking to the right spirit. Don't play with things you cannot see. I deleted them all. No more. Not a game.
I did pick up a couple words that were interesting BUT it didn't get recorded bc the app keeps stopping/freezing. Also the playback isn't loud enough even with the volume all the way up and headphones. I wish I had my $15 back.
If you are doing paranormal investigations use real equipment not this. The app itself is well designed and works fine but when I showed it to my team they all had a good laugh and requested I not use it for actual investigations. I regret spending money on this. Sorry guys.
