it sucks not cleaning my pool
using this app with the X2, neither of which i can recommend. About once month or so it randomly creates a new map consisting of just a few rooms, and replaces the old map with the new one. this can easily be undone by switching maps, its a rather annoying inconvience, but the worst part is it also for no reason "moves" the base station in the map, usually somewhere like inside of a wall or furniture, somewhere its impossible to get to; sometimes it resets but for now it just stares at my wall..
Garbage map management that doesn't let you just section off parts of the map as seperate rooms, has to meet weird and stupid conditions and makes seperating rooms incredibly difficult in some situations and literally completely impossible in others, just straight up won't let you. Trying to add things on the maps and move them around is horrendously clunky and unintuitive. Terrible obstacle avoidance, eats cords laying around. My Roomba never had these issues.

Freq offline app status & frozen mower stall outs. App's wifi network/ Bluetooth connection often, next 2 non existent. Diag. finds no prob ? Cable 2 the base not replaceable? (chrging $109 ?). Agents say they'll get back 2 U & don't.

Should give a zero star. Bought this new launch model, 2 days into service and it turned malfunction. Can't detect it's mapping, the device went crazy going repeating on the same spot and can't find its return for charging. It also mentioned anti hair tangling but nothing works. Basically I threw hundreds of dollars buying Chinese technology that doesn't work, just sell based on talk only. I reviewed their online platform, and realized the particular sales channel has been removed after. 😡

We're in desperate need of a software update. Does this robot learn to expand boundaries to the fence? We can't draw a no-go line on the map without dragging the mower all the way to that zone? I want to program an island trimming line in the middle of my lawn for a flower bed or trimming around a tree. My Roborock mopper is light years more advanced than this mower. It cuts well, but up your software game. An undo function would be nice when zones suddenly merge wrong.
Started off great. That's no longer the case. App is difficult to use. Device is constantly losing its connection to wifi. Maps are being re-mapped. Robot wont re-dock unless I give it a shove. It runs out of power before finishing because its going round in circles. Can't split rooms on the map. Maybe I need a different brand.

how does the app help yo manage the robot mowers?!
It's an ok app but the upgrade of firmware process is poor, requiring the app to be on screen all the time whilst the update downloads and then transfers, just to maintain a connection to the mower. It should be capable of being written in the background. The app didn't update either, I had to uninstall/ reinstall to get the latest version which has a football picture on it. Lastly any minor change you make to the map seems to wipe all schedules completely so you have to start again.
