UX simply isn't good.

the app is very bad it's not working
Robot says it's charging but isn't, tried all the trouble shooting still no luck, only had it for one and half weeks
Terrible app! The mapping has constant issues. It looses maps, doesn't map properly, looses station location. Map editing is painful or impossible. I paid a lot for this robot vac and it's awful!
app worked for 3 months and now wont load device making it and the vacuum useless. tried everything but ulttimatly just wasted $1200.
I got Deboot Y 1 Pro and found this error issue from last 2 mi ths and unable to use the ecovacs robot at home. Plz help in fixing this issue Error code: DEEBOT Y1 PRO (406,10025)
Frequently device becomes offline. Needs to do resetup frequently which is irritating and fails to be active when needed most. also requires WiFi so we can't map with one mobile.
The dumb developers need a lesson on UX, one small example is allowing me to set where I've placed the charging station. The dumber robot keeps thinking it's everywhere else but where I've placed it. It's so simple, allow me to place the charging station location on the map. I can list 100 more enhancements ranging from mapping to authentication issues.
finding the station shouldn't be imposition when you start cleaning from there
Absolutely painful app. It logged me out without my knowledge and so the routines I set up stopped. Now it's lost my custom maps and it's a real pain to edit the rooms. Makes me sorry I bought it.

Would of been a 5 but in the last couple months my ecovac has been acting up. It's not going to the rooms I select it to. When it's cleaning it's either going all over the place or staying in 1 small area. Then when it docks I have to push it all the way in. I've done all the maintenance and cleaning and completely reset the bot and it's still doing it. I've used ecovac for years but now I'm considering switching to a different brand.
After updation, the robot started wandering around the house by itself. Then, it could not recognise the base station and had to be physically put back. When started again, it struggled to come out of the base station and cleaned erratically. The robot is good, but the app is not.
Problem with X2.. does not work properly.. hitting the wall.. difficult to return.. already clean and rebot still the same. and it suddenly jumped out of no where

Too much technical app. Can't be easily connected to mobile once it gets disconnected. Struggling last few days to connect to App . After every step it shows error. Not suitable for senior citizens or housewives. Complaint get not responded. Better avoid this highly technical product without any after sale assistance.
Many problems with the software and the connection procedures.
