Absolute garbage. Its not for 'budgeting' they want to sell you stuff and you can only budget once it's gone out! Cannot input a mortgage properly, the single biggest outgoing anyone will have. Cannot link to trading 212 to accurately track investments. Its a middle man app for loans, deals, money off and ironicly cost £9.99 a month for it all 😂 No ta
The app bombards me with constant reminders of how destitute I am.

Tried to charge me £83.99 for the premium version without my consent. Wasn't very helpful qhile I had it.
pointless rubbish
7 day trial,i removed this app on day 5, cancelled this app and subscription, and its charged me £83.00. This App didn't say how much a subscription was, as i cancelled it, and there was nothing on the app saying how much it cost, or saying that it cost anything, I will be speaking to my Bank.
Awful app makes you want to pay for subscription. doesn't do as it says like show you your subscriptions. Not easy to cancel and very complicated app. won't use this again
app charged me for a whole year after a few days trial i didnt even use it once it didnt even say how many subscriptions i had!
expensive and after cancelling the free trial it still tried taking 80 odd quid out of my bank
cant do anything without a subscription!!
I felt like the adverts on social media showing Emma showing you how many subscriptions you have are false advertising. To set it up, you have to go through all your bank accounts, PayPal etc, and connect them all, and then after all that - it doesn't show you your subscriptions! Not whilst you're on the one week free trial - you have to be on the premium version. All the stuff I saw is free on Snoop, so why would I pay? I uninstalled it and checked my subscriptions myself. Clickbait.
might actually be useful or helpful if it supported my bank but the App doesn't so that was a waste of time even bothering with lol
Fake, won't show you nothing more than bank app
The app instantly tries to extract money from you. no where can I see subscriptions like it implies on its social media adverts. awful app.
will connect you bank account and then tell you to subscribe at a cost it never mentioned a payment to me and when trying to get out. it sent me to the page so I do not know if they linked me to the free 7 day trial but if you charge me in 7 days I will be angry as you say you'll save people money when infact your drawing people in and trapping them!!
7 day trial (too short) but you have to commit to a plan before you continue. Yes you can cancel but why do it that way? They're hoping you forget to cancel. Apr 26, still can't find the free option. Deleted again! Way too many clicks to do anything, and there must have been 10 required to delete the account. Don't forget to disconnect your accounts first!
remember to cancel the subscription after the free trial, or they'll charge you almost £90 for a non-refundable subscription to an app that really isnt worth the money.
any app that needs more than 5 "yes I'm sure I want to cancel my subscriptions" to be pressed in order to do so can get in the bin. offering me the subscription for 50%, and then 70% off as the last two automated options was just the final sign that I'll never use it again and regret giving a company like that one months subscription.
expensive for a financial app that does few things (at least things i use) more then a banking app. Prices need to drop like 50% even to be co considered, given that majority of things i use is already baked into the banking app. Edit prices need to drop by like 1/4. Way too expensive for a simple budgeting app that lacks family features.
it doesn't tell you that it charges a monthly fee until you have already linked your bank accounts.
dont waste your time, useless app. basically just shows u your transactions and also somehow calculated that i make 9000 a month which is far from true. this a very very bad app that just wants your money
useful, but super unclear about what you are paying for. despite paying £42 a month I'm not able to create custom categories. There is no clear indication on the app that this is being a further paywall, yet it keeps redirecting me to a screen to upgrade my subscription. that should be included in the subscription I have, and it all should be clearer. I personally find apps that make subscriptions this difficult really negative to use. edit: downgraded to 1 star after finding more hidden paywall
sly, connect your bank account then tells you it's a subscription service. sly.
The ad said to help with subscriptions so was like yep yet they want a subscription. Last thing I want is another one. Also just to mention the subscription for this is yearly and it clearly states this if you read it.
absolute rubbish, tallies up to get information it uses for third parties. It doesn't even recognise your subscriptions and even when it recognises one you still have to use the main channels to cancel the subscription. it will not cancel subscriptions or do anything you don't already do. it's a waste of time and good marketing
Potential to be such a good app but their incessant need to advertise their subscription plans and promos are irritating, predatory and enough to uninstall this app.
Emma wants to save you money, by charging you more money! an incredible opportunity for any idiot who can't manage their own finances. if you have subscriptions you aren't managing, dont take out another subscription with Emma 🤣
I can't get rid of the subscription fast enough. I already have a decent budget tracker that costs much less. I deleted the Emma Budget planner tracker to assess it and it didn't match the ease and versatility of my current provider. I am a veteran and state pensioner who needs budget carefully. Emma Budget planner tracker demands £84 and I don't feel that it's worth it.
Have 2 pay 2 use it so it wood be another subscription
poor information before allowing subscription.
Everything is premium and needs payment. Not worth it.
app classes my income as shopping and if I change it, it changes my payments on the app when I buy anything. To delete and account also takes about 8-10 pages as all they do is ask you to stay and dont understand why you want to leave. do not recommend.
Read reviews first no way
download the emma app for free, but you have to pay to use it, also it's amazing how many people in adverts are paying for Netflix twice and don't realise, if I was paying for Netflix twice, I would definitely notice, as now you have to remortgage your house to get it, fake ads, plus why would I pay to see subscriptions when my bank tells me for free
it's ridiculous... manage your subscriptions and cancel what you don't use.. they say. and after you link your bank account they want you to pay for their app with subscription...
They signed me up for a Pro subscription and I had no idea this had occurred. Please be wary of what you click on, as I thought I'd rejected the offers that continuously pop up in the app. The emails went to my junk folder, and I only became aware that over £80 was taken from my account when I was checking my own transfers for which we share the same name. Disgusting, backhanded behaviour, this should be reported to financial ombudsman
Couldn't find all my payments, making me add them individually, which defeats the purpose of the app finding payments I'm unaware about.
Insufferable amount of pop ups and begging for money
It advertises that you can manage/ cancel all your current subscriptions then tries to get you to sign up to their own paid subscription- a bit counterproductive. To cancel, you have to select cancel over 5 times because it keeps trying to make you stay and pay. On top of it, I've never found the option to cancel the other subscriptions I have
I downloaded this app to check my subscriptions like it says in the adds but it makes you get a free premium. I checked it and only had one subscription and it also added some of my random payments to the same place like the playstation store to my subscriptions which is also wrong anyway I use money box which is free and you don't have to pay to upgrade I think an app about saving is wrong for changing you a subscription so you can use basic features. you can get 70% off a year if you cancel.
how cruel makes an account link all your bank up just to find out it's a paid service, put the pay wall at the start or on account page rats!
the free version is so useless it's not inspiring me to invest in the upgrade
The entire advertised purpose of this app - tracking recurring payments - is paywalled.
asking for to much information sorry no tks.
not happy I canceled my free subscription after a few hours and cancelled any further payments but you still took money of me last month. iv even emailed you about my canceled subscription and yet still taking money off Me it absolute joke
Lol emma logic, best way to reduce monthly spending is adding another useless subscription 😂😂 for the stuff it does you can do that all for free save your money.
complete scam
Disappointing. Free trial then paid £9.99pcm. Switched onto annual subscription offer, but app then restricted even basic functions like being able to transfer from "general" to other categories unless upgrade/pay even more! requested refund as even my free HSBC online banking app offers more functionality than this! very disappointing given high subscription fees.
lies lies lies says to see how many apps you have then made me make an account then tried to make me log into my banking app no thank you!!
Forces you to add a bank account to use the app, yet doesn't specify that in its ads, certainly ain't adding my bank account to a app I've never used or just heard of,
