I have a monitoring system that I haven't been able to access for about 3 years now. When I called to tell them it's not connecting, they want to charge me for the technician to come out and connect. I let it be since it really doesn't matter if I monitor or not. They over promise and under deliver.

This app is a huge disappointment. I won't be buying another Enphase system in the future.
agents not available on the chat option, the helpline number is never picked. Pathetic after sales service

system has not reported out since March. multiple companies out to fix and it still does not work correctly. we are extremely unsatisfied!

**Update** Was asked to "uninstall/reinstall app, clear cache, restart phone"...that was the first thing I did before updating this review. Fix the app! Get this under control! App continues to crash and not let me select/edit how I consume energy!! Very frustrating! Could be more streamline/user friendly when navigating option, changing settings for how one want their system to operate. Constantly (pending) for hours/days when making power mode changes.
changed my wifi provider and couldn't give my gateway a new password. Spent 30 minutes with tech support, they couldn't get it to work either. enphase sent an email suggesting I upgrade my gateway for 900$.

The app is accurate, but displays data in your phone memory (cache). Real time data is extremely slow, sometimes lagging behind several minutes. Some data (like state of charge isnt updated until you view the batteries directly. Most settings of your system are not available, which are controlled by Enphase remotely (India). This fact is not disclosed, even after you pay $97,000 for a system. EDIT 6-1-26 : Reduced to 1 star. Your system can be handicapped via software. Do not buy enphase.
App will not connect to my home wifi network. It connects to the gateway with no problem. The next step is to scan networks. This fails. My phone is running Android 16 and has successfully connected to many devices.
I had to upgrade my internet service. My ENPHASE GATEWAY ENERGY connection was lost. Spent over an hour on the phone with ENPHASE GATEWAY ENERGY, IT, outside with my cellphone and my computer and COULD NOT RECONNECT through the app. I was advised that I had to contact the installer which is ION SOLAR. ION wanted me to wait for a phone call to talk to another person in their IT! This is ridiculous!! I have had no connection to my solar since May 12th today is May 28th, 2026. SITE ID #4519471
App does not load anymore after update. Completely unusable now. Might as well uninstall.
wi-fi connection awful I had to change my wi-fi password so it didn't include special characters which is a security measure and then it took an hour and a half for a technician to connect it to my wi-fi which is strong for all devices in my home and even on my phone when I'm standing next to the system. It's been connected for about a week and today it disconnected and won't reconnect. it's showing my wifi being weak but it's strong on all other devices in my home.
Useful and generally well made, although I can't see my array panels anymore. Update to rating. Changed my wifi password to be more secure. Turns out Enlighten won't accept most special characters for the WiFi's password: #,$,&,%,+,=, and / among other. That is a ridiculous restriction. This gets 1 star until they fix that.
production, usage, and import not tallying with final export. Needs correction in application.
constantly not reliable. The app seems basic so why is it always not working. I understand if there are issues once a month or two but it is down every week
Excellent app, easy to use. The software is very error prone. It takes for ever, many, many tries to connect the WiFi. Then it often drops the connection. Just a nightmare. Choose a better manufacturer who understands software.

Another update, v4.6.2, and they STILL have this useless cache which must be manually cleared. That's at least 5 updates since I first reported the problem.
Only occasionally does Live Status work. To have that info on it's own tab instead of opening thru another window would be nice. You don't know what your system is doing at any time even though it says it's running normally. All that happens is it says unable to connect to the gateway, please try later. Even though it's not critical it's frustrating not to see it what's going on with it when the options are right there. The different colors for the different system components are pretty though.

very inconsistent for 2+ years since we've had it
The app has been working fine until recently. When I open the app, I am presented with the login screen, but it is completely unresponsive to any touch input. I know my system is working fine because I am still able to use the mobile web app in my browser and it works perfectly fine along with all of the data being reported.
