I'm really mad and disappointed at this because there was this vulture thing that I got from school and literally it said put the code I was looking for a vulture I literally signed in and it wouldn't let me read not even one single book at all literally I just don't like I couldn't even read one single small book it wouldn't even let me read one single page

When I signed up for the trial Epic promised to send a reminder email about cancellation before the trial period was up. My son did not end up using the app so I decided not to keep it. I didn't receive the email reminder so I got charged full price for a subscription.
I'm giving the app 1 star because it's to expensive and for trial but I don't want a subscription for the app I just want to read books without having to subscribe to it because people can't afford 85.00 dollars just so my kid can read books on your app I would not recommend this app to anyone

I've been trying to get in contact with them for over 2 weeks now and I haven't heard back
I can't get into the account to change my child's reading level. It also won't let me log onto it on her tablet, so she's using my phone instead. It's also not reading along with her, as I expected, which completely defeats the purpose. We'll stick with ABC Mouse.

When I tried logging in the app and it said I had to pay. Also I'm not that old enough to pay just to read a book. I may only be 12 right now but I don't want to pay to hear an audio book.

do NOT get this app unless you want to pay. I downloaded this app for a nephew of mine, and whenever I get hope that I'll be able to log in, it says "Epic Family Subscription". There is quite seriously NO way to get out of that, either. I would highly recommend ANY other reading app, because this one is personally not one you should waste your time with. Update- It has been a few months now, and I am having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM as before. THIS APP IS NOT FREE!!!

Absolutely not worth your time. I tried using it, but I couldn't get past the pay wall and there's also no cross, so it's basically forcing you to buy all those.
I tried locking into the app and it kept saying error we cannot let you in at this time and this happened multiple times over the couple of months that I've tried to use this app and it still will not let me in. And I've also noticed that you are false advertising an app that should be free instead. I am noticing that people have to pay monthly fees just to keep reading.

Terrible this app keeps trying to take money 💰 from me even tho I refused their service. I uninstalled it a instead of cancelling the subscription. I've had enough of these people trying to take my 🤑💰 money.
Sadly this app did not work at all. When I tried to sign in, right as I entered my birth year it said: error cannot sign in or something like that. I don't know if anyone wants to read this much but let me get one thing straight, If you try to sign In, it doesn't let you, even though I have a stable internet. I'm saying it again, I'm an 8 year old who likes to read books and I thought this application would be great but little did I know, IT DOESN'T EVEN LET YOU SIGN IN Please try to fix it

I was excited to try this app, but my experience was disappointing. The app keeps pushing users to buy a subscription to access many features. I do not have money to pay for a subscription, so I could not enjoy the app properly. It feels unfair that so much content is locked behind a paywall. A free version should allow users to use more features before asking them to pay. Because of this, I was unable to get the experience I expected. I hope the developers make more content available for free
