It used to be a really snappy app and now instead of being quick I feel like they've rounded it out. edit: most recent update totally broke the app for me
too many bugs
Although Shefter and a few others on your team have integrity and value, your SportsCenter team has lost quality for attempting to be cute and witty at the expense of accuracy and integrity is 🥵. Please get back to sports reporting, rather than too cute by half B.S. The hacks you keep hiring to host SC lately diminish the brand and none of them are whitty. Also, tracking devices and accounts that comment on your ineptitude reeks of your desperation to be relevant on SC. cover sport, period.
One star app until notifications settings are fixed. Unable to turn off "Breaking News" or any other major notifications even though the toggle has been cycled off!!!
Please update the match time in different zones. I always get confused by looking at the time and date because it is wrong and disorder. Thanks.

It's not opening
Info for the NRL is broken! Team logos are outdated, the UI is terrible, and worst of all the standings aren't even available.
app will not even open anymore. website doesnt work as well anymore either.
The downtrend of ESPN needs a documentary. You'll find more stories about what people in the W/NBA are wearing or speaking out against more than anything to do with sports.
There is absolutely zero need for my location to have to be on when using this app. It's ridiculous.

It came with a Disney/Hulu bundle not sure why you get nothing with it unless you pay a separate subscription or use a service provider. Useless uninstalling

I've had a scam pop up while using the ESPN app two mornings in a row. A third party scam pops up saying someone is trying to wiretap my phone. The scam tries to make it seem like it's my own phones security and try to make me click a link. ESPN is corrupted.

Tell me why the MLB trade deadline news(a league i dont have any notifications for) is always above the world cup (the biggest tournament in the world and one i have starred and check on everyday)? bummy ahhh ESPN
Never brought back the "my teams"; videos,news and scores section for only my teams. Videos inside the video sector of games don't work. On top of that, notifications don't work - when I press on them, they open the app but never navigate to the notification itself or show an eror
it would be less if I could. everytime I click a link on my browser it takes me to your app. so im deleting the app until I want to watch something but most of the time the stream quality is so low that you can't even make out the players on the screen. posted in December, now again in June. what a trash company. fix your stupid app
ESPN has made it impossibly complicated to get the annual mlb subscription without signing up for their own monthly subscription. The worst.
why do you consistently send notifications about alerts and sports when I have breaking news set to off??? the newest thing is I'm getting PWHL Boston Fleet news and I've never subscribed to it. FIX IT. Your unwarranted alerts have been a problem for years

Where's the Athletes Unlimited leagues? You have sports betting and some really obscure sports but not any of the AU women's leagues. As they say, Everyone watchea women's sports. Fix it.
why do I need to submit my location data to see a boxscore of a hockey game?
By far the worst interface of any live streaming app. How hard could it be to have an option of having a traditional menu with times and events listed in order. Also, thanks for making watching past event videos unwatchable due to all the tireless commercials. A paid service shouldn't also profit from ads. The level of greed from Disney/ESPN for an inferior product is shocking. Please send this to your DEI dept. Thanks!
Terrible app with a lousy connection. You go to watch a game and it won't connect. If you are watching you lose the connection and can't get it back. It should be rated zero stars.
Tried to log in with my TV provider and it would not let me; it just showed me a blank white page. There was nothing I could do. I tried on Chrome, and nothing worked.

Let me get this straight. I can watch the NBA finals for free on ABC, but if I want to stream it, even though I pay for Disney Plus, Hulu, AND ESPN, I have to pay extra for ESPN Unlimited. ESPN is being run by the stupidest people in the history of civilization.
The ESPN app is trash. The "hide scores" feature doesn't work; it won't show a minimized screen view when I leave the app; and it jumps to "live" when I leave the app and go back in. Total trash.
No matter how good my internet connection is, every basketball game buffers so bad it's impossible to watch. App is worthless at this point.

This app is absolute trash when it comes to trying to watch something on demand. I would 100% recommend subscribing to mlb extra innings through your cable provider, rather than subscribing to mlb.tv, and having to watch through this app. I will not make that mistake again.

Don't bother with the app, just use the website. The app crashes or freezes constantly, especially during big events when you want to check scores and updates.
Updated Review 26' - Why have this App at All? The ESPN app is useless for sports! Pay extra for this, why? - I can google sports video's, No Real Sports. Deleted, ESPN, Disney & Hulu.! This is just another deteriorating product provided by ESPN. Don't waste your time. - Go outside and watch the lawn grow, or paint a wall and watch the paint dry. its better then this APP.

Easily the WORST streaming app I've used. By comparison, I use all the household names (Netflix, Max, Hulu, Paramount, Peacock, etc...) I have restarted, checked for updates, uninstalled, cleared caches and every other troubleshooting and my options are for it to freeze 3 to 4 times per minute on a Roku TV, watch with a blurry picture on a firestick or watch with a decent picture and fewer freezes on a phone. Thank God I'm using a promo and not paying for this garbage app.

Spoilers if trailing live feed. I was watching 2nd period when the game ends live. I am only 1 hour behind live. App stops playing the replay and dumps me out to the home page. Game disappears so I can't continue watching and then app shows the results of the game I was watching. NEATO! Also Fast forward is garbage when skipping commercials. Going back to YouTube TV!

Simple app. Poorly organized news. Clicking the notification to access the news, goes to a blank app screen.
Generally a good app until the most recent update. Now all videos are choppy visually while the sound comes in clearly.
Don't care for it.
