worst company steals money
Very messy app and system. i cannot find any status information about my card cashback even after spending a long time with the AI help. etoro money app is discontinued, opt in is on an external page. status information in the app or log in area missing. in the webpage there is no AI help, or any help at all.
no real customer support
I got hacked and money taken out of my account it's taken 5 days for someone to get back to me saying it's not their fault ( even while this was happening I was sending messages and screen shots in what was happening) they did not care and quote"our fraud team don't work weekends) and it was my phone supply fault. been a customer for over 5 years and they have lost money and they don't care!!! you think they would be blocking strange accounts like banks do or ask for ID
When scrolling through the portfolio, the list jumps because the filter bar is removed when scrolling downwards and then displayed when scrolling upwards. This is really so annoying and it has been so for a very long time now and not been fixed. The same happens on the watchlist page. But on the watchlist page you can manually hide the filter bar which eliminates the jumping when scrolling. But the hiding is not saved in preferences. You need to hide it manually every time you open watchlist.
HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY FROM ETORO! You will be stuck for many days with no human to help or answer a simple question at all. Only useless AI bot.
not opening
After what Etoro did taking my Luna coins last year which I still evidence, and told me they getting rid of it even though it still in there platform, and now growing higher, refusing me to buy more and giving back my 151 million coins without my consent. Im keeping evidence for future legal matter
I nearly risked having my account stolen. It’s not clear whether it was actually them or a scam. Now my account is blocked, and I also have restrictions on what I can buy with it. I need to make some transactions, but I currently can’t 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 On top of that, getting through to a real person in customer support is impossible, and they only work during the same hours I’m working. The only alternative is a chatbot that can’t even do 2+2. So frustrating.

in 2026 a company that handles your money not verifying an email before opening an account is insane. I would not trust them with a dime. edit to add: & they can't even have a human reading & replying to reviews.

VERY INSECURE APP! Update: today it happened to me again. About the 10th time it happened to me. I opened the app after a long time of inactivity and the app opened with absolutely 0 checks. no login, no password, no biometrics checks, nothing at all. I bet it has something to do with the whole app being just a website, not a proper native app. I reported this already 2 years ago, nothing has been done to fix this!
The booth staff provided incorrect information, which resulted in me being unable to receive the free share after signing up for a new account. Despite raising this issue via email, they refused to refund me, closed my account, and did not offer any compensation.

wrost app , for ISA ACCOUNT they want to deposit pound and when I deposited 1000 pounds now it is showing I can invest 985 pounds so 15 pounds loss as convenient fee and maintainance fees within 1 sec ..now there AI chat is explaining above is normal process... whom to talk ? wrost app..

people from Europe dont install or use this app they gave 2 differnt account one is usd ac and other europen ac when you try to trade from your europen account to any asset it cancels the trade by itself for some reason and send your money to usd account for no reason and if you wanted to transfer usd to euro back to ur account . u need to pay conversion fees . even you ask them why its happening they cant give you proper reason they give u ticket number and they will not resolve this problme

Terrible. Had to go through the nonsense account setup which is US based so not relevant for a UK citizen. Was forced to add funds. I tried to open the cash isa but I can't add from the money I just transferred. I had to return the money to my bank account which was a terrible experience as it wouldn't let me enter my last name which I have two of. So I had to mess around with customer service for ages which is just AI. No way of withdrawing safety as the bank accounts don't match.
trying to set up a virtual portfolio but this app doesn't support the trades I want to its a complete bust.
Updated 05/04 I don't think customer service will be able to help given the mixed instructions received on earlier calls. The lack of clear instructions on setting up the cash ISA resulted in me inadvertently adding funds to the $ S&S side. To get that money back they charged a £5 fee, nowhere in the help section does it state that a fee will be applied. Shocking.
BEWARE: opening Cash ISA, ensure deposit funds directly into it having opened one first. Do not add funds to eToro account as it goes to general platform (cannot move over to ISA). Bug on ISA menu directing to do the latter - glad I checked with customer service. Likely many people will be caught out by this. Now rectified and ISA menu correctly presenting open ISA option. Also no option to pay by debit card/fast transfer. (Would have missed this tax year deadline so have gone elsewhere).
I just wanted to open a eToro ISA savings account but this app has made it impossible. Also asks me to provide tax accounts information for which I'm unable to do. An hour wasted!

app works ok but there is a questionnaire/quiz you have to pass before you can trade most things or use leverage. Don't deposit much money into this until you pass the test.
For UK residents primarily looking at eToro for ISA's my advice is don't bother. It is a convoluted arrangement with a third party (Moneyfarm) with funds segregated from eToro (so you fund directly to Moneyfarm not via an eToro account). This segregation has become even less clear as eToro have taken the decision to 'hide' the Wallet tab in the app which shows an aggregation of eToro USD, eToro GBP, and Moneyfarm GBP accounts. This vital tool for non US investors is no longer easily accessible.
This was the first stock investment app I ever used. I learned some thing from this app. The one thing that turned me away from eToro is there is no stop loss for American users at the time. I loss 1/2 of my investments in Feb-March of 2025. I pull 90% of what was left.
can't login via biometrics anymore. it was working fine until the last update, so clearly that broke it (and cannot turn biometrica off either, getting error there too)
It did not trigger my Higher stoplost USO oil. and took old one. You cannot set stop lost in the profit for crypto assets or some assets. Its really bad features thats why we will gradually move to other brokers. Previous review: Very limited in crypto area 🤔, the answer I got for my previous comment is irrelevant. Why we cannot set Maintenance Margin For crypto assets?? For example I am 50 $ in profit in bitcoin, Why I can't set Maintenance Margin for 40 $ US to sell in the sharp dropping.
I wanted to invest in an ISA, be careful if you are doing the same, do not fund the etoro account as you cannot fund the ISA from that account and like me you will have to wait for the funds to be returned.
