Live views and cloud service down, and when you tell them their servers are down, the useless morons reply with useless FAQs. AI STILL can't tell a human from a cat, and it detects my blanket as a human, lol. It's not a doorbell, it's cameras

Eufy app used to be flawless. Since the update, the camera is very glitchy and I have no access to see anything through my phone! The app developers should be fired for not testing their updated version before releasing it to the public!
Another update, yet more issues connecting to the camera. Each subsequent update makes it more and more difficult to connect to the camera, receive notifications and access event videos. Coupled with the incredibly weak wifi signal meaning even when the Wi-Fi says strong, terrible connection. I cannot recommend this app or these cameras - spend your money elsewhere.
edited 5.7.2026 I'm starting to look for a new security system. no changes on my end as others have been complaining. notification takes 15 to 30 seconds after the event, you open notification to watch video working for 15 to 30 seconds before seeing the event. a lot can happen in just 1 minute. and the person in camera view for 45 seconds before the light comes on to see what's going on. FIX IT or I'M OUT. Now my continuous recording isn't working... WOW!!
app rarely works properly, no point having cameras when it takes 10 minutes to load if at all and support blames home internet when it is known not to be an issue.
Still hate the ads (unacceptable in an app to control devices I spent > $1k on!), but I'm updating this to further reflect performance. Since the last update, everything is so much slower. It takes forever even to load events. They changed the calendar so that when trying to see a different day, you have to select the day, then hit confirm. Why add an extra step to what used to be 1 click?? This app should be simple, just control my devices, but it's full of dumb social stuff & a store. Terrible

The glitches with this app get worse with every update! The latest update glitch is that it says the camera is offline when it's not, so not only can I not check in on my dog, but I can't retrieve any recordings. If the camera is in privacy mode, then I'm unable to turn it on as well. I tried clearing the cache, unplugging the camera, etc. If I get it to work, then it's briefly and will go back to saying it's offline, even though it's recording as I walk around the room.

Doorbell will not connect to homebase. I've tried everything from setting my router to 2.4g network, hard reset of the device, uninstalling the app.
Both of my Solocam S340's were working great until a couple weeks ago. Now it won't recognize a person moving unless you dance right in front of the cameras for 10-15 seconds and it still sometimes won't recognize then send out notifications. Nothing has changed on my end at all. Everything else works perfectly. I'm giving it a few weeks longer and then I'm selling these bc what's the point of a security camera if the criminal has to walk up to the camera and dance/sing for it to go off.
Unacceptable. When used to control a Eufy L50 SES robovac, this app is essentially unusable. When the app is started, no map displays, despite previousl mapping the room and saving a map. After starting, then stopping cleaning, the map appears, and can be edited. Sometimes the app says "Network is slow Please wait". When this happens map changes cannot be saved. It has lost "No Go" zones repeatedly. It's simpler to use pieces of furniture as barriers than to rely on this app for mapping.

This app sucks! I have it for my s1 pro breast pumps and the old app worked so much better. I'm ready to get different pumps just because of the app. When they finally connect to the app, they won't sync so one pump starts, but not the other and when I finally get the other one to start pumping, it'll turn off the first one. I'm constantly messing with them trying to get the stupid app to work.
Insanely buggy app, frustrating/impossible to play back recordings, constantly skipping around, restarting, or failing to load. The cameras themselves always miss important events, but then trigger a recording every 2 mins when literally nothing is happening. So annoyed that I invested so much money into this hardware. Very close to giving up & switching ships. I will never recommend this system and talk ill about it until the day I die unless eufy starts making serious improvements & quick.
won't even pull camera up
Uninstall the buggy version of the app. Then go to site APKMIRROR, and download and install Eufy version 4.9.3_4379. Turn OFF auto updates in Google play store. That solves the app problem.
what good is our cameras when we can't use them.??? slow & lagging behind. I never get notification about someone until after they have came and gone. the wifi is amazing at our house so we don't understand why they have some many issues it never did before. I've looked for updates and anything else to try fix them. I'll never buy another one if the problem isn't solved. my husband is very upset he works away from home most of the week the entire purpose of the camera is so he can check on us.
I am facing huge delay while checking live view on my eufy security camera after recent app update, even with stable signal while changing to low video quality, still not working. Need to know if we can expect any fix from eufy on this issue. Further kindly provide more features in homebase 3 app.
terrible app , nothing works like it should, cameras have stop recording and stopped notifications. I have 3 cameras in total and hub not fit for purpose if you want expensive looking dummy cameras there great if you want serious home security look elsewhere will not be add any more eufy products to my collection 😉.
I need the cleaning portion to stop deleting my mapping that the vacuum has done, this is very inconvenient and annoying
Wufy was great at first. Then after several updates. Extremely slow to load if at all. Get notifications 5 minutes after the event. I sent videos of what was going on to support, absolute crickets. I switched from ring to them, horrible mistake. Eufy customer service is non existent. They got my money and don't care. Please don't reply with reach out to customer service as I have already done that and heard nothing. It's been a month and nothing from you.
This app takes too long to load cameras. You'll be robbed by the time you see burglars leave your home.

App used to be great but now it's terrible and I can't reach most of my devices most of the time. I'm going to switch to another brand of camera. It's obvious the Anker doesn't care enough to fix this issue. Look how many recent reviews have been complaining about the same thing. All they do is ask about what phone do you have. Nothing has changed with all of us. Clearly it is the app.
useless app. will never buy a eufy again
the experience is awful at the moment. it won't let me remove maps and redo and when I remap it replaces with the old one so it is pot luck as to whether my hoover finds it's way around 😞
This app is nothing but a disappointment. The buggiest app I have used. nothing works on the first go. it's a task to use the robot vacuum with it
takes forever to load notifications I miss people at my door all the time cause it won't bloody load up. Ring is looking good atm.
loved Eufy when I first got the cameras, now lately live feed won't load, playbacks won't load. kind of defeats the purpose of security cameras, I could be getting robbed for all I know and the camera won't let me look. do better or im changing to a better camera set up.
the app update is terrible. not that it was good before, we have the cameras on max record time, max detection rate as well and they hardly pick up anything. former models were 100x better
When selecting your device to load to network it does nothing. Not user friendly.

Every time I setup multi bridge on all of my cameras, each time the home base 3 is restarted all of the connects go back to the home base 3 instead of the much better wifi connects setup in multi bridge. This software is such complete buggy junk and they still haven't fixed the constant video buffering or inability to load clips after a year of everyone complaining (a home base 3 also doesn't fix this). I wish I never invested in this brand as they never improve anything.
Eufy security camera is the very first security system I have purchased. I did so much research on the brand of security system I wanted to go with and thought Eufy was the best fit. Unfortunately, I did not do my research on how well the app functions. It worked well for me on the first day, but after that I could not access footage of live camera recording because of the app lagging (not connecting). I am very disappointed and will most likely be returning the product I purchased due to this.
since the last update, I have had issues deleting videos - up to 8 attempts to delete, reinstalling app, force stop and clearing cache makes no difference. Very frustrating!
eufy l60 ses does not connect via WiFi. waste of money
Updated: FIX THIS APP! I'm able to see clips now by reducing recording resolution but CAN'T SEE LIVE FEED even after making low streaming setting. Nothing has changed on my end. WHY can't a big company like Anker fix a critical app to keep their customers?! I have been brand loyal and recommended this brand, because it's been really good until this app problem. Security of my family demands reliability
I will never buy a eufy product again simply because this app sucks. you can never review the notifications.. it loads and loads and loads and then says error so you have to kill the app and try again and sometimes that doesnt work. I get notified of motion when the person is already at my door and the camera faces my driveway. the battery life of the camera is great I've never charged it, it just uses the solar power charge but the app makes it pretty much useless.
