Очень дорого.
I really loved this app... but they tried to force me to pay for it. Absolutely not.
too many ads
An app that grows less functional and more expensive as time goes on. Their latest update scrambled or erased about 20% of my notes and deleted half the pictures I had saved here. It can't even navigate what it manages to save: clicking on a notebook sends me to a random note in a different notebook 3 times out of 4. An incredible waste of your time and money.

WAYYY TOO EXPENSIVE. GREEDY PEOPLE. I originally had it as 5 stars but now I wouldn't even give it 1
they have ruined this app by AI suggestions overriding your view and no easy way to turn it off or opt out. I have my files named like I wanted them named. im not looking or wanting help. fix this please or I will opt out at nect renewal. at this point Evernote is a giant waste of money.
Alas, a once great app for clipping + highlighting notes has been Zombified beyond recognition. As a researcher (human, not AI), I constantly find material worth saving and using. Evernote (the name says it all: "Ever" and "Note", denoting "permanence" and form of archiving) was perfect. But ever since it tried to copy Salesforce, it went downhill. Now, with its AI feature, it's uncontrollable. "Something went wrong" pops up a lot, too. As for price? SMH
completely unusable in free version. just logged in to get one piece of information and was bombarded with popup dialogs to subscribe.
I can't access my notes due to the paywall suddenly kicking in. The other installs it is calling out are phones that i replaced... I am going to have to pay one month to get my data back. $15 per month is ridiculous for what the app does.
What in the world happened to this app? I used to use Evernote in my business. I quit using it more than 4 years ago because the free version was going downhill. I decided to try it tonight and was shocked to find that it ran a video about the company. Woke up my partner. Not OK. I used it for 10 minutes and was presented with 3 upgrade screens. Worst of all as soon as I went to ad one note, another purchase screen;can says I can only add ONE note. One? Where are the 50? Wow. 👎 👎
Too expensive!!! This latest price increase is ridiculous and egregious. As a percentage it is outrageous. You are charging way too much.
Performance issues on notes above 20k words. I hate having to break up my big projects into chunks Changed my review from 3 to 1 star. Ate my note and deleted my content and I'm mad about that.
not free
Still ASKS TO BUY EVERY 15 MIN W ANNOYING POPUPS. Un-installed. Stripped a TON of features. Can't create any new notes, limited to 1 notebook and 50 notes. No easy way to transfer /export data
lost all my previous stored data
I have been using this app for 5 years now and it was a God send. But lately I can't even view my notes for 3 seconds with the app asking me to upgrade. I also can't go back to my notes as it prompts me to sign out. There really isn't any choice except upgrading. This is really frustrating. 2026 update: 10 years using the app and I am surprised that we all still experience the issues I listed above 5 years ago (2021). The developers have really messed this once great productivity platform.
£159 a year! for a note taking app! I actually spat my coffee out!
No attitude to their users. All my notes became inaccessible due to their change of the payment model.
I used to use this app a long time ago for free. I loved it so much and it worked so good that I became a Subscriber for years and used it for my business. Then it started to quit working correctly. I got locked out of my content over and over. support was slow, generic and ineffective. the app became a burden and was not a useful tool anymore. I tried it again recently but it didn't "just work" any more so I finally deleted it from my devices. one of the few apps I hate to see go this directio
I've used this app for over a decade and I'm finally moving away from it. The extortionate subscription price to get features which were free when I started using this was bad enough, but now the adverts have made it unusable. This was once the best notes app but I'm moving away after ten+ years.
straight garbage
can't access my encrypted notes, the "reveal" button isn't working on my device.
Paywalled.
useless applications don't try this and asking permission or promotion
Basic support is behind a paywall... That's basically a sign of "hey, we don't care about you unless you have money" so... I've happily changed apps a few years ago to one with free & great support. Don't get this one. It's broken as hell, uses generative AI, and once deleted itself on my PC without warning.
they've ruined it for their customers
I've used this app for 10 years and loved its earlier, simpler days. However, ongoing additions and "improvements" have actually cluttered the platform (more is not always better), and the HUGE price increases the past two years are ridiculous. Last year, it jumped from $69.99 to $119.99. This year, the price has increased to an unbelievable $179.89. I've also run into snags with the phone app: 1) unable to print notes; and 2) unable to export notes in .pdf format. Farewell, Evernote.
way too pricey. they got greedy, I uninstalled and switched to Google keep, it does the job and is free 👍
too expensive
this used to be so good, but now unless you are prepared to pay $20 (au) a month (are you bonkers), they make it close to unusable with all the restrictions and invasive prompts to subscribe
Evernote: we will take your notes for years and then lock you out and request a monthly subscription. absolute trash. They lost all the data from my old account years ago and now I can't access my current account without paying. Garbage app, garbage company. Go anywhere else.
much improvement needed
At the moment, if you have encrypted notes, this version has a bug and notes may not open. And while both android and ios are experiencing the same issue, it appears that ios gets the win; update was released earlier today......sad Evernote needs to step up and, we'll you know the rest
Regular enshittification of subscription plans. Regularly changing them so the cost increases by large amounts to keep what you have. £160+ a year now. Profiteering in action.
Even evernote couldn't escape the enshitification overtake it seems. R.I.P.
bait and switch
baddd
horrible app the peak of capitalism experience u will get so annoyed just to get one little service it's just an annoying app
***"Final Update April 2026 Reached my limit with their scamming BS. Canceled Migrated to UpNote. Below in response to my feedback $79 to $119 “ We have decided to moderate the impact of this increase by increasing the Annusl price by a set rate of $20 per year for 6 years" *Update: November 2024** Back to 1 star. The company continuously adds features that are unnecessary and not wanted without addressing major ongoing problems. New owners Bending Spoons interesting backstory Google them.
well I can no longer see my notes without having to subscribe, oh well that's 12 years of notes lost because I can disconnect an old device.
This app is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. The cancellation process is intentionally difficult to access and overly complicated, causing significant inconvenience for users. Even after deleting my account, I was still charged for the annual subscription, which should not happen. Based on my experience, I would strongly not recommend using this app.
The downfall of the great Evernote. RIP
After update, I can not login this app by Samsung phone. Now I can not add scan paper in my old notebook on sumsung phone. ( when I choose "Next" icon, the app is restart) I don't know why?
It used to be a great app, far superior to any notes app, but now it's barely usable with the amount of popups asking you to upgrade for X or Y function. Brother, i just want to write a quick note. Sadly, it's time to change, i'm gonna miss the elephant icon.
ARGH! once you start, you'll get stuck... price keeps going up. use something else. 4/26: My notes have gone missing and their recovery process does not work! 2020: Can't print your notes to PDF from the app! Forces you to share a Evernote link...
Login issues for longtime subscriber: For weeks I have been unable to log in to Evernote on Android, a service I've been subscribing to for years. Customer Service has been unable to resolve the issue as either the response is AI generated, or the agent has not reviewed previous correspondence on the issue. I am now considering giving up on what was once an essential tool in my workflow.
It's now the worst note app on the market. What a fall from grace. I've emailed their DPO to enact my right to be completely forgotten and have all my data purged from their system instead so I can use OneNote instead
I used Evernote for 10 years. Not worth the money (~$200/year). Look somewhere else.
This app continues to get worse day by day by day
