"Free" app means free trial, monthly sub. Deceptive and trashy. immediately deleted my account and uninstalled.
Poor user interface, forces you to do too much, not user friendly
app was working fine until the latest update, now it won't open. I've reinstalled, cleared cache, forced stop, restarted phone B4 & after reinstall. when I try to log in, it says "error occured, try again "
The encrapification of this app continues apace. Pop-Ups if you have the temerity to try to categorize something in a different month. The attempt to turn a budgeting app into an everything app. This morning I opened the app and now there's lightning bolts everywhere. Super! Before you bother to respond, just know that I stopped reading the responses a while ago due to the unkindness. I protect my peace.
I tired of misleading apps telling you it's free and making you believe it's a free app that can help you. To later find out, after you've downloaded it and set up your account, that you will have to pay $17 or more a month to use. Years ago I took a physics class through church and everyone had to pay to get your kit, which was well worth it. Now seeing an app that tells you it's free and it is misleading, it should tell you upfront.
My wife and I have used this for a few years and loved it until today. The free app would not let me in until I answered personal questions about my finances. I finally started to answer their questions hoping it wouldn't go too deeply. When I felt like this was going to ask for more than I thought appropriate I tried to back out. Now it just has a buffering circle on the screen. My wife can't get in and we cannot retrieve our budget numbers. I hope the uninstall works better.
You give your information to set up the app, and when the app opens you can start your "FREE TRIAL". Sorry, I'm not spending one red cent on this app... (uninstall) when there are so many free budgeting apps out there.
Couldn't even get into the app no matter how many times I resent it to confirm for my email, it wouldn't even accept a single one of the codes.I tried eleven times absolute useless app.If you can't even get into it, probably just scam
Horrible app now- This app was somewhat glitchy in the past but all of it features seem to work but since they rolled out the latest update, nothing works, in fact you can't even open the app, just says " error occurred cannot open app" I tried uninstalling then reinstalling nothing works, should it continue I will have to uninstall permanently because it's not usable, however I am able to log in via desktop with no problem.
They charged a fee and I someone else set it up for me, I guess it helped them but next thing I knew they had sent me a receipt that I made a payment of $79.99 I hadn't even used the app after the initial setup I reached out for a refund and explained and not only ask why I asking for one, they were trying to sell me on possibly not going through with the refund because of all the benefits they offer so they wanted me to send an email with my choice to continue refund or cancel it.
Bank sync sucks and support is useless! This is also very expensive. Edit: Seems like they got defensive in their comment... Support doesn't have the tools to help users facing issues and don't seem to be able to escalate quickly.

downloaded to see if i could b able to use (I'm technologically challenged) when the specific budget watch came up several pics did too in the upper portion of screen...not sure if its Ramsey or Samsung but scantily clad females r not something I want to see when trying to focus on my finances...sorry-boys...you lost me at hello. Disappointed in Ramsy now who I've read and listened to...Clean it up boys , I would have liked to try it otherwise 😏
4.8.26 Reintalled and will get the premium version. Will watch some of the webinars to help me. installed and immediately uninstalled after reading the reviews. Will continue to use my excel. All the issues listed will delay discipline and motivation. I need to start now. Maybe one of your tech engineers could develop an excel version. I know you have the talent resources on staff.
So the login page that has the create account and sign in buttons doesn't work. The buttons show that they're pressed, but don't do anything. It is the latest version and I have good internet, but it just doesn't work. Very disappointed.
Love Dave Ramsey and his advice, but the app continues to crash and freeze on the sign-in page. Unfortunately gonna have to give a 1-star because it simply isn't working.

I canceled a year ago, but was charged again. There is also no emails sent the week before being charged to warn you that your card is about to be charged. Kind of a scammy way of doing business. The irony.... I still enjoy the Ramsey radio show, but will have to change my bank card number now.
UPDATE: The concept is better than a spreadsheet, however it miscalculates the budget and has constant login issues. It causes more problems than it solves. They need to work on it desperately. I'm done. I've had enough.
(update 3/12/26) App won't log me in. App opens and hangs for 15sec-90sec, asks me to log in. After entering credentials, app hangs on loading for 1-2min gives me an error message and bounces me back to the log in page. Flippin' ridiculous
This app is so frustrating. it doesn't sync well with most banks. if you don't want to follow snowball it fights you whole way.

I will probably be looking for a new budgeting app after 3+ years of use. response to customer service: the 24 to 48 issue is the reason why I'm frustrated. what's the point in having the app if I have to go in and budget myself through my bank app?
Just setup and played with the free version to see how it works for irregular income. Budget is based on projected income - when you enter income less than projected amount, the app still shows the full projected amount as being available to spend. i.e. projected income is $3,000, actual income is $1,500; app shows $3,000 remaining to budget/spend. Disappointed.

App is great when I'm able to stay logged in. I've been kicked out & could not sign in several times now. All while paying for premium.
I hate how the seach feature only pulls transcations from the month you choose. I have to go back to the budget tab and click through each month to find the transactions I'm looking for. It's fine for putting in info, but searching for it after? I don't think this app is for me
