this app never works, whenever I try to open the app it auto shut-off
For flight tickets, it always shows a cheaper one on another date but when you tap into that date, it always goes up, then it shows another date being cheaper and repeats the cycle. Another time, when I go to check out, it always tells me price fluctuates and it goes up by a few hundred.
Had no refund returned to me..took 6 days just to get in touch with a supervisor to get me half a refund. I will never again deal with the business. Terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not use Expedia. They are using overseas workers and AI in the same chats to handle requests. This probably intentionally leads into you not getting an answer about trip changes until the (NOT "any reason") insurance window has CLOSED. I can't believe human beings led us on a run around for a week so the insurance would be void over moving ONE DAY of our trip, as if everyone has hundreds to thousands of dollars to waste. We reached out SECONDS after the booking and kept getting told to wait.
Could not change email that was no longer in use. virtual aid useless. Had to delete app just to change email.
it's obvious they have fired their UX staff, and replaced them with AI! there are so many usability issues, technical issues, and circular paths to nowhere. I was trying to leave a review about a horrible hotel I'm stuck at, but no... not possible to actually write a review from an android in chrome! downloaded the app, and it's the same circular path to nowhere! it's the 21st century Expedia, this should not be happening!
The car was confirmed. We did a long trip to the airport, had a long wait at the counter just to find out that the are sold out. Looks like scam, they still owe me money after cancelation

the help is not intuitive
Date picker allowed me to look for flight A and then accidentally purchase a ticket to flight B for a completely different set of dates. This is for a wedding, and now I'm trying to schedule the flight I actually wanted while fighting through the app to get a credit that only applies to delta. Lovely. Thanks Expedia.
Poor service never respond to emails or staff rude
charges you for flights you dont want or book and forget about trying to fix any problems. not worth the 'low' cost.

Originally stated in my review that they had good prices, easy to use interface, and was reliable. The only one of those that are true, are good prices. Which is not worth sleeping in your car because support doesn't care. Tired of their games.
I had an issue with a reservation number they give me I try to talked worn an agent she took my info I was waiting for 30 minutes and nothing happened I cancel my flight and book on trip. com more easy and cheaper
this app is an absolute SCAM, it lists items that doesn't exist and then when you try to use the stuff it gives it won't work or even be shown as existing then when you try to ask for a refund they'll just say it's within their 24 hour limit and refuse any refund and will sit on all your money. I had to sit doing nothing at the airport because I got scammed on a fake lounge, do NOT use Expedia to book things if you want a stable trip
Recently I booked a trip to Vienna and Italy and the last 2 weeks, the app crashes soon after starting, big waste of time and I have missed important dates due to this. I have uninstalled and installed the app. Called Expedia twice and the last time after a 55 min. phone call the lady said she has filled out a report and I will get a follow up and is transferring me to someone to help. It went straight to the beginning of a call. No call back and no response from the "report" that was filed
it's a scam I reserved a casita for one month & paid 1140$ then they demanded a deposit of 3000$ which I refused to pay.I was not told about it earlier beforehand.I did not get a refund. be aware of this, don't deal with them I had a bad experience with them, don't allow it to happen to you .
They don't allow you to screenshot your schedule. Have to wonder why this app doesn't allow screenshots.m? I was ready to book, but wanted to send flights to my driver, to see if it would work for him. ridiculous
DO NOT USE EXPEDIA. Book directly through an airline. It will save you a lot of time, money and headache. Expedia makes travel more complicated than it should be and dealing with their shoddy customer support is a big hassle. Shady policies are written in fine print in a attempt to separate you from your money with tricky and deceitful methodologiesThere's no reason for Expedia to really even exist, a glorified middle man that strips value from the airlines and takes more from us, the consumers.
u can't seem to get a hold of anyone on their website or even online. I called yesterday and waited 5hrs on the phone and when they finally picked up they hung up on me, rude and the online support their is really nobody that makes any sense. Would live to speak with a love agent for support with my canceled spirit airline trip that is in 2 weeks. Need help asap.
I'd give 0 if allowed. downloaded this app and was able to book a holiday package which was incorrectly quoting the price as AUD when the price displayed was in USD. There was nothing to alert me to the fact the currency was incorrectly stated until after payment had been taken. To get this rectified I had to spend hours of my life chasing customer support multiple times while out of pocket over $1000.

Lesson learned, don't book anything third party. Extending a hotel stay by one day is apparently not possible through Expedia but the official hotel website would've allowed it if only I booked through them instead. Perhaps the way Expedia incurs their own change and cancellation fees is how they are able to offer marginally lower prices. Oh also, the virtual assistant is just sad.
I tried to book a domestic flight within Japan when I'll be there in August. The app claimed that flights are not available, but I went to the airline website and there were flights available. now I'll have to book separately.
Had trouble trying to book the right rooms. I have been charged most of the amounts that I booked. I should not have been charged for the ones I cancelled because I had trouble reserving for the one trip that I am making. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income.

Priceline was cheaper on rooms everything we checked on them. right now we are having a hard time and needed the cheapest price without sacrificing cleanliness
