Does not work on my Relndoo_P30_A15 tablet. Update: 5/4/26 - I think the issue might be that F-secure assumes that all Android 15 devices have the new Android security built-in. However this is only true for A15 cells, not tablets. My A15 tablet does not have the built-in security and should be treated as a prior to A15 device. There's no option in the F-Secure Mobile Security app for this.

I've paid for the premium account and the money has been taken from my account yet you've cancelled my subscription. This is the second year in a row this has happened. It is ridiculously difficult to contact anyone to get support. Once I managed to chat with someone their solution was to keep sending me a broken link. Please address this ASAP.
I have had lookout for many years, on phone and tablet. For some reason it will not open on my new galaxy s10 ultra, I keep getting an error message to update, which I have done several times, and it still will not open. After reading other reviews, it appears that I am not the only one that has this problem....

I'm a Senior on a Fixed Low Income. I have a Free Gov Phone which Only Has 16MG Storage Space!! My phone constantly says clear my storage which is so annoying! Today I went to manage my Apps & there was this App?? Would appreciate prior notification b4 being added to the rest of the "MANDATORY Google Apps" that i Don't Use!! They sit there unused & take up storage space on my phone.
When I have time to create a new cryptic F-Secure-specific forwarder to my actual tertiary email - which is none of F-Secure Oy's business - I'll run the free trial and maybe add a * or 4. But we're not off to a good start - impertinence-wise - for what it's worth. Let people take this thing for a spin first; and THEN start your data-mining machine. NOT before one's even had a glimpse! It's you who want our money, after all, not the other way around! - P.S. Shame really: I was genuinely curious!
BS!!!!! On And Off Site! I've bought the year subscription to check it out! after the trial expired. uninstall/reinstall multiple times. Off would be the attempts to log back in! change password, security! finally, I reached my unsuccessful experience paying for Fsucker!!! keep the $59.99!

Same as everyone else says. Loved Lookout, and now I will guaranteed NEVER pay. I have been avoiding opening it for a while because of the issues and how it looked like it was going to require my info. Somehow, without update, they've enabled the notifications that it needs update to pop up every 3-10 minutes on my phone which I know will require the paid version. I guess it's the final goodbye to Lookout. Will make sure this company never gets my money and take the risks instead.

Terribkly confusing for the average person. There's a free option, but you wouldn't know it. Premium sign up screen obscures entire app and fake close button reopens premium sign up. You're taking advantage of people that don't know any better. I was a Lookout beta tester on the neXus one.
Scam. Lists apps that don't exist
Hasn't worked on tablet in a year, no updates nothing. Paying for nothing at this point. Edit: Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Android 16, [latest available app] from the play store. It crashes on open and a msg pops up saying it won't work until devs issue a fix. Edit 2: no help with that latest reply, put my previous edit in brackets for easier viewing, that info was previously included. It's the latest version. Way to pawn the issue off guys.
My Samsung tablet is now reporting that this app has a bug and it keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled no luck.

Well not only is this App limited in scope, when it comes time to cancel, Google won't let you do it. Already 3 hours trying to get it to go away. Just beware

Useless, pathetic, demands I login or create a account, instead of doing its job an scanning for viruses and trojan. Who would be stupid enough to create a account as its function is to scan not defraud and hijack private personal details. no wonder this company is bankrupt. So how do I removed this cursed bloatware app from my phone firmware ?
Installed this app many months ago. Was using up too much storage on my phone so attempted to uninstall it. It will not do so. Says it needs to be deactivated first which also is not working. It has now been stuck in this constant attempt to uninstall and saying it has failed though the icon is spinning. Developers....please help me out with this problem! Thank you!
does not open or work on my samsung tablet. only works my samsung phone. app is updated. how do I start a chat in the App if it doesn't open. y'all need to fix your bugs, the app says you have bugs that need to be fixed.😂
Used this product for years but now no longer works on tablets with latest OS.

Bug Report: F-Secure on Galaxy Tab S9 FE I’ve used this service (formerly Lookout) since 2016 without issue until now. On my Galaxy Tab S9 FE (Android 16, One UI 8.0), the system reports a bug, and the app no longer functions. Both the app and tablet are fully up to date. The app works on my Z Fold 7 but not my tablet. Given the premium subscription cost, I expect reliable protection across my devices. I hope your developers can provide a compatibility fix as soon as possible.

Ever since download..i cannot watch Amazon..pops up that im not authorized..never before i downloaded this app. my phone has also glitched all day and lost connections in my games.

Your "Safe Browsing and Privacy Guard" is working TOO WELL, and is causing frequent alerts in the "Substack App." It is also blocking links from Facebook to a game from Zynga called "Wizard Of Oz Slots", when trying to collect free coins via a web page at "zynga.social". I have to run a second VPN from Xfinity to disable F-Secure to gain access to those free coins.
The app is still good as a anti virus, but it will random turn off safe browsing inexplicably and I have to force stop the app to get it back. it's extremely annoyinf
Replacing 5* review I never wrote: Like "Nancy Laugherty", I never installed this, but apparently F-Secure bought the once wonderful Lookout and quietly replaced it with their own app which keeps complaining about Chrome all the time... and all this without even giving users of Lookout any kind of notice! I'm not too happy with F-Secure, considering their history and some changes they've done. Still, Im not quite so fed up yet that I would actively search for a replacement...
