I don't even want to give one star. I was trying to watch Teenage Kracken. At first, it was just one ad. ok. that was fine. but then, not even ten minutes in, it was five ads. another ten minutes, SEVEN ads. I realized I would be spending more time watching ads than the movie. thank you for disappointing me. I sincerely hope you run out of business.
The app keeps logging me out. It's totally worthless.
fix your app it keeps signing me out and i cant log back in cause it says my password is wrong even though I can log in on the website but the app isn't working
Fire Tv app is really bad! It won't let you watch free movies. it says get the movie at the website or mobile app and then when you try to do that, it will play in the app and in the website it will redirect you to get the mobile app but no option to 'Get' the movie. why can't the developers make it simple like every other streaming app??? Fire TV app sucks big time!
for some reason it does not work on the Nexus tablet which is unfortunate
trash, bought a bundle of two movies & I can only watch one of them ... fix it or give me my money back
Edit: As of 5/1/26 the below is still true. Original 1/26/26 Still unable to opt out of data sharing on either a Shield or Google TV streamer. The app just freezes when attempting to opt out when the app launches.
I never had any issues with Vudu but ever since this became Fandango I constantly have issues with it not loading on the tv. I have to close 3 or more times in order to get to my library. on my phone I'm going on one week of not being able to access my movies from my phone. I wish I could just have my physical copies instead because this is ridiculous. it is also misleading and wrong that the high ratings that you show on here are not as Fandango at home but rather the great ratings for Vudu.
People on Fandago's forums have been complaining for years about the movie sort options. They never fix it. Why is the default sort the order you purchased movies? This is the most useless sort ever. If I pick A-Z sort it should save it and not revert back to the "Default". Utter nonsense. If this was a new thing I might give you a pass, but people on the forums have been complaining for YEARS. Such a simple fix but you ignore the people.
It says you have to make a account to watch, I make one it doesn't work, I make another it doesn't it work, so now I can't finish my movie, I hate this app

I bought Project Hail Mary today. I can't see that movie until May 12th. What is this scam and deception scheme from Fandango at Home? Why on earth are you selling a movie today that can't be seen until May 12th?
While the App may work for other people, it refuses to do so for me. I bought Project Hail Mary, I can even see the Email confirmation, but when I try to watch it I get an unhelpful message about needing to purchase the film. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience then this.
Stop with the bots. This is a 2 star app at best. ALL of the recent reviews are 1 or 2 stars. This garbage app works maybe 10% of the time. VUDU worked perfectly, fandango is trash.
In the past, my account remained signed in on rehomed devices. I had VUDU CS remove those devices (or my account from them). They refunded unauthorized purchases then. With the changeover, the app no longer plays sound correctly on main TV, and I cant remove or change payment method. Recently, someone rented a movie no one I know would watch. It was 4:22am on a Tuesday, and it was a $20 rental using an inactive account. They "may" only be able to remove my PayPal to prevent this. No real help.
What's the point of a streaming app if in midstream a listed title is unable to stream or playback?? I've had this happen three times and if these guys expect me to create an account for a service that sells digital licenses that can actually be taking away if that make the wrong people mad. I'm sticking to DVDs. do yourselves a favor invest in DVDs. the stuff you buy physically is legally still yours.
They don't acknowledge Google Pay as payment. Google will take it out of your account after purchase through the Fandango app, but no movie. Had to ask Google for a refund after waiting for it to show on my Fandango account. No help from customer support. They just won't talk to you.

Downloads won't play, on or offline. Cannot connect disply to HDMI in HDX but wasn't told prior to purchase. Customer support ignorant to their own app. I would pass on this nightmare and just buy the physical disc.
If I can give this so called streaming service negative stars I would. It's almost impossible anymore to watch movies all the way through without it buffering multiple times. You pay for Hdx, and it's worse with the buffering. I had to close out a movie the other day because I could not watch it without it buffering several times. I hate this service. Worst one yet. Get your act together, and fix it for all of us. Maybe you all should pay attention to the many negative reviews you're getting.

so far every time I try to login it's always brought up an a problem end can't login so I end up uninstalling the app reinstalling the app and it still doesn't work I'm tired of your app apparently does not work on Motorola MOTO stylus g so I quit trying to put it on my Android phone so I'm done I will continue trying to use it on my other devices but not my Android phone

Still having occasional issues with intetmittent audio. So I PURCHASE a season of family guy and there are ads on it. The reason I bought it was to have NO ADS!! Course you don't care as long as you're getting money! 🔥🔥🏭🏭

2023: You guys seriously need to get your bitrate up. Vudu used to lead the charge now it's almost in last place your 4K HDR Dolby vision is at Max 11 Mbps. That is insulting and it shows dramatically. Watching a movie like Avatar the way of water or pretty much any new movie in 4k is outright horrible when compared to other movie apps. Now you guys have the one of the lowest if not lowest bitrate streaming. EDIT: it is now 2026 and they have still done absolutely nothing to fix any issues.
this app doesn't play all episodes in a series even with the setting turned on. it also quits after an episode then you have to find the episode that it was supposed to play next.

This app has a lot of options BUT if you're watching KIDS movies or shows the ads are NOT kid friendly! An ad came on, quickly, and showed someone getting shot in the head. Not what I want my 7 year old to see. Couldn't believe it. Fix the ads please.
As another reviewer also stated, after my Motorola Stylus phone got the Android 16 update at the end of March this app keeps crashing it whenever I try to download any of my purchased movies. I have to do a hard reset every time. Still no fix.
I got this app so I could stream my movies instead of having physical copies of everything. I also liked being able to purchase and watch everything through the app. However, this app has been glitchy, and now all of the sudden, after 1 1/2 years of being able to cast to my tv, it just stopped allowing me to cast. after reaching out to tech support, all I received was a long list of to-do's, and after trying all of it, I was told, "It is not you, it's us." No resolution. I'm very frustrated.
this has been my families go to app for a long time, it's changed owners several times over the years. fandango by far has the worst version of the app. it used to be quick and easy to search and purchase new movies or tv series. that's not the case anymore.
switches sites or apps as you use. didn't except gift card and way to easy, the only easy thing about it, takes your money.
